Apr 14, 2012
I have wifi connection my asus laptop cannot access it when iam in my room upstairss but my ipod can ,, what shall i do to my asus laptop.. it cn access wifi when iam in the sofa but when i go up to my room no internet connection
I recently bought a new cisco e2000 router and had no problem connecting to it on all the devices in the house (about 10 of them)Just now, all the devices in my room (ipod, netbook, phone, and laptop) lost a connection to the router and no matter where I am in the house none of these 4 devices can get a connection. I can see other networks, just not mine. They all worked perfectly fine before, and out of nowhere they stopped working. Other devices that were not in my room at the time of this 'wifi surge' still have a connection to the router. The wired connection works and that's how I'm typing this right now.
1st, sorry for my English, I'm french and I'm not really good in IT.I have an ASUS with an Athros Wireless R9285.Since the last update, I can't connect in wifi anymore (but it's ok with the cable, and ok with my other computer).I first though it was the on/off wifi button, or the Fn/F2 command, but no. Then, I tried to connect/unconnect the card, change the power specification, try all the anti viruses I've got and make a "restauration" at a date before the update and so the issue.
I have a brand new ASUS X54 C laptop. It detects the wireless network, and will connect to the network, but it shows "no internet access." When I ran the troubleshooter it said "default gateway not available." I updated Windows and my drivers, and that did not help. I had Comcast check the new router, and they said it was okay. My cell phone connects to the internet perfectly through the same wifi.I'm out of ideas. I can connect to the internet by ethernet, but that's all.
I don't know if i accidentally pressed cleared room or sell, my living room just disappeared while buying new room , please help me some of my stuffs are there too and they are gone too.
I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that won't connect wirelessly to my network. ALL other devices in the house (iPhones, iPads, iMac, 1 laptop and another desktop) work fine, no problems. I've tested the laptop at my girlfriend's house using her wifi and still the same problem: Limited Access.
I've ran the troubleshoot, re-booted the router & laptop, checked device manager for any exclamation marks against any drivers (none), tried disabling/enabling the driver, checked for driver updates (none), done a system restore and uninstalled my antivirus software but all to no avail.
Edit: I've tried plugging in the ethernet cable which, although not particularly straight-forward, eventually works.
I have been accessing wifi on it for almost the entire time... Was workn on the nternet with my laptop till day before yesterday mornng.....
When i switched it on in the evenng, it suddenly started showing that the internet is connected, but there is no nternet access!!! There was a yellow icon (triangle) at the internet connection icon...!!
I am able to access the same internet with my ipad n iphone, but says 'no internet access' or 'limited access' while trying the same from my laptop...!!
i am pradhap, i am using a mobile that contains wifi. it performs wifi wireless n/w and a modem. so how to access wifi connection form my mobile to windows7
I just cleaned my laptop and it released a lot of dust, so my temperature is lower. The weather is currently very, very, very hot and my laptop is running 55-60C normally when i browse the internet, in a very hot room. Before i cleaned it - it was very hotter. I'm even sweating and i don't wear a shirt. But that's not the point. I i am running prime95 to test the processor, and after 1 minute of 100% usage it gets to 90C in the hot room again. But when i go to a clearly cold room, it doesn't turn off, it barely reaches 80-85C but never the maximum 90C.are the fans not spinning correctly or is the room temperature really important for a laptop?
Last night I was on the internet at home absolutely fine and my laptop automatically downloaded an update, since then I have been unable to connect to my wi-fi. I deleted the updates and was still unable to connect, so I tried to used a system recovery restore point and every one I use starts but fails to complete. So, I did a factory reset after around 8 hours of trying to sort it out today and I STILL have the same problem. I can plug in the cable to connect and my housemate is having absolutely no issues connecting and neither is my phone so now I am at a total loss what I should do to resolve this. Prior to the factory reset I was able to connect to the wi-fi but it was stating no network access/limited access and now it simply won't connect to my internet at all. It finds my full strength signal but will not connect. My drivers for the Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n card are the most up to date and the laptop (HP G62) says it is working fine.
So, I have recently installed Windows 7 and am having problems not connecting to the wireless Internet in the house that I was able to connect to before. I have looked around for answers and haven't really got any real answers.
I want drivers for my sound card. actually its working properly, but i an using 5.1 channel speakers, so, its not properly giving output for 5.1 channel, but stereo works properly, i.e. 2.1 speakers. My mixer helps to do the same. And Asus wifi solo, if possible for windows 7.
I just started toying with Windows 7 64 bit, and I've hit my first snag (a common one it seems): getting my onboard 7.1 surround to work. Mobo is an Asus P5K Premium WiFi.
At first, before installing any drivers, it worked perfectly fine in the sound test, all 7 speakers. But I can't seem to make Media Player use em, or the one game I've installed, Fallout 3. In both cases, only the 3 fronts work. I'm assuming this is a driver issue, as it works fine in 32bit Vista.
I tried installing the last Vista 64 bit driver, but I get the same results: the configuration/tester app works fine, but only the front speakers work in Fallout 3 and WMP. The driver I used was:
AD1988BBlackHawk_V6100126280JVBWHQL.zip
Any idea if such a driver exists for Windows 7? I found this one in another post (DLing now), but I'm not sure if it's the right one for my mobo:
I have an Asus P5K-e/WiFi AP and am interested in installing Windows 7. I looked on Asus' support site and they dont have a wireless driver for Windows 7, only a LAN driver.
Anyone come across a wireless driver for this mobo for Windows 7?
I'm fairly new to Windows 7. Installed today, everything seems to work fine... except.. I can not find the WiFi drivers for the ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi-AP mobo (ASUSTeK Computer Inc.).
Tried to run the setup on my old cd w/ Vista compability, but that didn't seem to work. Then I found some drivers here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
Does anyone here know where to find the wireless driver, or when it eventually might be released?
So my girlfriends Asus has an issue where it will disconnect itself from wifi and at the same time if anything sound is running from the computer, music or video. The audio will distort and she has to restart the computer to fix it, this only lasts a short time before it happens again. She has tried updating the wifi and audio drivers and this didn't seem to help.
After installing Windows7 Ultimate x64 on a EEE PC Asus 1215B Seashell serie, the button which toggle wifi did not work anymore, like any other keyboard function keys (less importante now). When I log on I receive a message in a popup windows which says: You must install ATK0100 driver! I had installed the P4GX before noticed the problem. I've tried to install the driver downloaded from asus support site but I receive an error message in a pop-up windows, without any clue about what the problem is. Nothing is registered in Device manager, nothing is found in Registry, no file related to atk* in system32driverstorefilerepository. It's not possible remove nor reinstall, cause nothing bad remains after my failed installations. I've tried many times, with Troubleshoot Compatibility and Run as administrator (my regular user is also an admin). After executing the driver app, one command prompt appears showing the log of the installation process, and all of sudden disappear. No control about it. It's only possible to read the upper case word FAILURE before the window close. No log is found. It works when I restore the machine to Windows 7 Starter that comes from factory. I dont know how to get the drivers inside the hidden partition.
im having trouble with my wifi. The day before it works fine but then the next day i turned on my Vaio laptop and it says Limited Access to my home wifi. I tried connecting to other wifi but same thing. I tried resetting the router, disabling and enabling the wireless connection but all didnt work. I tried connecting it with the cable directly still cannot connect. Finally i did a system restore to the day before where its working fine, it worked. The next day it says Limited Access again! So im guessing 'something' made my wifi error after that 1 day and i dont know what to do
I use Windows 7 Home Premium. Only 3 months in use. When checking the remaining available room on my HD, I found from the one to the other day that there was a drop of 6 GB. I did not install "heavy" programms.
I have a Linksys WRT54GS that I bought at least 6 years ago. It has worked flawless from the start so I never had to learn anything about wireless networking. That is until now.I just built a new system with a clean install of Windows 7 which I have been running since the final public release in July of 2009. At the same time I took my old box, formatted the HD and put a clean install of XP on it. It has a Linksys WMP54GS wireless-G PCI adapter (w/ speedbooster). Both of these boxes were painless to get online with after the builds. However........now I can no longer access my network with my cellphone and my daughter can no longer connect with her laptop. The network shows up on the phone and the laptop but when trying to connect it won't. Not a thing had been changed on the router. Password is still the same etc. I did go ahead and do the firmware update though. The last time I updated it was 2007 and there had been 8 updates since then. As I said all had been fine so I never thought about checking for updates.
What has me puzzled is that the wireless XP box connects just fine but no matter what the phone and laptop won't. Now this may be a really stupid question but seeing as this is a new Windows 7 install on a new computer (assembled from a Newegg bundle deal) do I need to install the Linksys software CD? Windows 7 Seems to have already configured everything for the network and drivers. I'm hesitant to run the CD because I don't want to risk hosing something in the process and having no internet at all. It's not critical to have the other devices be able to connect but it would be nice to have full access like I used to
there is a similar problem wifi is connected but there is no internet access.... there is a yellow triangle with is warning mark on it my is a new laptop and model is dell inspiron 15r 7520?
i can't access internet by wi-fi or manually. I have driver update and wifi fix on jump drive. Jump drive not showing when inserted. How can i load updates?
