I bought a new system, with a new HDD,but i started to experience a problem with the browser(any browser).Everytime,i open my internet browser, all other programs stop responding. However, the browser works fine, and unless i exit it,i cannot click on anywhere else but the browser or my computer hangs and everything stops responding, even the task manager. This problem occurs in google chrome as well as internet explorer,so i doubt it is a browser problem.I have never experienced such a problem with any system i have used so far,nor have i seen anyone experiencing it,so i am really confused as to what might be causing this.
I just purchased a new canon 60 d and I loaded the new software that came the camera, and the zoombrowser keeps saying not responding ,or is very slow to respond, my computer software is windows 7 ultimate
For the past 2 days, whenever I have used Mozilla firefox 12.0, after sometime, the browser hangs up and it tells that the browser has stopped responding. The same time, windows explorer also hangs and freezes soon. I will have to restart and then same thing happens again. I tried Chrome also, but the result was same. the browser freezes, and soon after explorer also freezes. I have also noticed that the disk space in the C drive is also getting reduced. In one day 5gb of space has been added up. I have installed and tested with windirstat. Now even the yahoo messenger freezes (not responding) every time and other applications too. I have scanned with MAlwarebytes and Security essential and could not find any infection. For the past 3 days, I can't watch flash videos in Mozilla. Today, several time the same thing happened to chrome also and it says the player crashed.
My computer has been running slow for months, but it is now getting to the point where it is almost unbearable. For example, just clicking on a folder to open it can take up to 15 seconds to respond. It also lags a ton during internet browsing.
I have FF 17. The mouse is freezing in facebook & I find the only escape to release the browser is reboot. The same FB page works fine in internet explorer.
The definetion of an EXPERT was "anyone more than 25 miles from home" not sure about that.If memory serves me I used to be able to open more than one copy of the Microsoft IE Browser, however am unable to do that now. Am I imagining thing that I did that before or is there a problem with that?
How can I make my Browser (firefox) appear always on top ? For example I am doing a tutorial and need to keep the browser window open as I follow along in the tutorial.
At the moment I run:- Google Chrome: because it does seem to be the most efficient, but it doesn't handle RSS feeds very well (Foxish works OK, but I also run X-marks and there is a clash which causes Foxish settings to be changed). Firefox: Mainly because I have lots of RSS feeds, but it is resource intensive. IE9: Because I enjoy playing some games on the MSN Zone and have found that tools like Chrome's IE Tab don't cover everything.
im using Chrome and mozilla....mostly chrome though, however i have lost sound on both browsers. I have sound on other applications just not the browsers. I noticed shortly after i ran malware and ccleaner
I don't know if this is the right section to post this but can not find one that looks like it suites my problem.I downloaded a free font the other day and with it came this incredibar search bar it overrides my google search engine and any other one I want to use. I have gone online and searched and have came up with many ways people say they have gotten rid on it but none of there solutions have worked for m I read that it is malware and you should not leave it on your machine. I have ran my AVG and it does not detect it. I have deleted it from the all programs and done many things in the settings and set google as my default but to no avail it still comes up.
I have Windows 7. I am using IE 8. My browser will stop working. I do a restart and it will work good for awhile. Then I have do do the same thing about every 5 Min.
When I click on a link in mail, Chrome opens, and the page sits there loading forever. If I copy the link from the top of the page and paste it into a new tab it opens instantly, while the other page is still sitting there loading. This is exactly the same link it both tabs!
i have a fresh installed os windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. And everytime i open a browser cmd keeps on popping up with but instantly closes..
i have already did a Full System Scan with my Antivirus kaspersky 2012, Did a Full System Scan using MalwareByte's Anti-Malware, Did a Full System Scan using SuperAntiSpyware found some infected files but still the cmd popup thingy is still there heres a copy of my hijackthis log file..
i ran the program speedbit video accelerator and ever since then my computer notifies me that my browser settings have been changed. It does it more frequently at times and not so frequent at other times. Iv had another program on my computer for a few months that has run great everyday of the week up until today. Iv always run this program from the desktop shortcut, it has a system check and it always goes good except now when i try and open it from the desktop shortcut the system check looks like what i attached its supposed to have all green check marks. i can run the program now but i have to open it thru my internet explorer. and the desktop icon changed for the programs shortcut.
When I try to add a web page to my favorites in IE8, the browser crashes. I get a popup saying that Internet Explorer has stopped working, and that Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Clicking on Check online for a solution and close the program just makes the same popup come up again.
I suddenly had trouble opening windows explorer and Iron, I managed to fix the windows explorer from a video off You Tube but the Iron problem still remains. When I go to the taskbar and put the curser over the Iron icon the box opens above it but when I click on it, it partly opens and then moves across the screen to the right then disappears. IE, Firefox and Chrome still work but not Iron also Speedfan doesn't open from the taskbar
IE is always restarting while I'm on google chrome. I think it may be because there was this thing called connectify what I was downloading and it asked to download IE and I accidentally clicked the box and so I cancelled it?
recently bought a new Asus Laptop and am having difficulty login into some of my universities pages with the new computer (namely outlook web access and some library login pages). This happens regardless of connection type (LAN, WLAN and Mobile Broadband). I have reset IPCONFIG and other network settings and have disabled anti-virus software to no avail. So far, my universities website is the only one it is having difficulty with with other websites like facebook having no problems logging in. This happens regardless of browser also. In internet explorer, some of the images fail to load on the page (indicating the page won't fully load) and this is obviously followed by the fact that page says 'connection error' after clicking the login button and waiting around 30 seconds. It is also evident that this is not an issue on the university's side.
I'm on a CHEESY work computer which perhaps a dozen people have access to. It's running Windows XP SP3, Internet Explorer 7. While surfing the web I keep getting randow new browser windows popping open on me all the time. They are running Symantec Endpoint Protection, which I used to initiate a full system scan. The only thing that came up was a few tracking cookies. These random pop-ups are driving me nuts!
bought me a new PC that came with Windows 7, and everything works great -- except that I cannot open Facebook. Although Chrome is my preferred browser, I have also tried opening Facebook in Firefox and IE, to no avail. Basically, it's timing out. The error message I receive in Chrome says, "Google Chrome cannot load the webpage because facebook.com took too long to respond." On the rare occasions I have actually gotten onto Facebook, I usually cannot open links, or it freezes, or I get booted off quickly. When I tried using the FB gadget on my Magic Canvas, it would not accept my FB password, even though I retyped it correctly multiple times. What is going on? (P.S. I'm not very tech-savvy,
So anytime I go to download anything from google chrome I get the error " Windows cannot find'C:Usersusernameinsertfilenamehere'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. " I've also tried internet explorer, and it does the same thing. I was going to download firefox to try it on that however I can't even download it. If I change the location of where I'm downloading to it simply states that path in the error instead
I have Windows 7 RTM, and I'm using both FF 3.5 and IE8. I have this problems - many times when I'm viewing web pages with flash, the browser halts and I can't use the session anymore. It happens on both browsers. I've uninstalled it and then they work just fine but then I lose functionality. I tied to Install the latest flash version (10), but it halts the browsers again.
I have a problem with BROWSING the WWW when i am logged into tunngle, i am also unable to log into uPlay for example, which is used for playing Far Cry 3. The weird thing is, that my P2P and Skype continue to work without any issues. If it's any good, my internet connection isn't stable neither when I'm NOT logged to tunngle. Some times my browser works normally, sometimes it doesn't work at all and it acts like I'm not connected to the internet , however, P2P works all the time, even when the browser is "dead".
I can't download files from any browser. It says the download is complete but I can't open it or it doesn't show up in my computer. Even if I just save a picture since saving a picture is considered downloading a file. I can't even say "Allow" when Internet Explorer wants to install Adobe Flash Player. The only thing I can do is run torrents through BitComet to download.
I just noticed earlier that whenever my browser is open I can't access my task bar. I keep the tb hidden, but I've never had this problem in the past. I'm not in full screen mode so I'm at a loss. I'm using Chrome if it matters.
