View 1 RepliesI have got Fatal1ty Gaming Headset ( No USB) and my mic is not working properly. When I plug it into my headset, it doesn't work, and it is on. But when I put it directly into the computer, it works fine!!! Is it any drivers or what? I bought a new computer today but the mic didn't work on my previous computer either.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought a Steelseries Siberia V2 headset (non usb model), and the headphones work fine, but the mic doesn't seem to respond to any applications at all.I have updated my audio drivers and tried different audio jacks on my PC but nothing will solve this problem.I have gone into recording devices in Windows and ticked "listen to this device" and I can hear myself speaking through the headset, but when I try and use it on Skype or Steam chat it is non responsive. The volume bar next to the microphone in recording devices doesn't go up when I speak even though I can hear myself speaking.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently buy a headset with microphone with the Pink/Green jacks The earset part of them works fine, but the mic part doesn't at all.The system doesn't even pick up that a mic is plugged in. I have tried both the front and back jacks of my PC with the same issues. Under the Recording Tab in Sound it reads, NO audio devices are instaled, and I have the Show disabled devices checked. My biggest issue is I use gtalk and can't talk on it with this issue.
I followed this step>>>>
1. Right click on the volume icon in the system tray and then click "Recording devices".
2. Right click on the blank place in the popped up window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".
3. Right click on Microphone and then click "Enable".
4. Highlight the microphone and then choose "Set as Default Device".
5. Click Apply.
6. Select Microphone and click on Properties.
7. Click on Levels tab. The default Microphone Boost is set to 0,increase it.but after Right click on the blank place in the popped up window and then select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".I do not find any Microphone.
I buy another headset and its the same problem and when i plug the usb headset in the audio stops working. I know nothing wrong with the headset because i heal popping noises through the headset when i restart the computer with them on. View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I can't use my headset mic to record. I have been through all the settings to no avail. I have a Toshiba NB 250 with a mic and headphone input only. There is a webcam with a mic next to it. I am trying to use audacity but I either get no sound recorded through my headset mic or screaming feedback which exponentially grows.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBeen having a problem for the last couple of weeks, I have been trying to install a USB headset on my computer but no matter what I do it cannot find drivers. The thing is there are no drivers available on the web anywhere, I have check the manufacture website to no avail. When I plug in the headsets it says driver cannot be found, and in the device manager they are listed under other devices with an ! next to the names.

by the way I have bought my laptop new Toshiba A500 series and there was no bluetooth in it
and when they shipped it to me there was no CD's with it but said to make recovery CD's so I made them buy a wizard.
I have a headset/mic and a set of speakers, I have my speakers plugged into Front Speaker port and headset into rear, on XP this worked fine as I could use both at once or turn off the speakers and just use my headset, it appears in Windows 7 this isn't the case.
I have the latest Realtek drivers and tried the registry change and nothing has allowed me to use both at once.
I'm trying to use Ventrilo and I can only get sound through my speakers and as I'm trying to speak to people this isn't the best audio source.
Anyone found a fix for this problem as I really like Windows 7, but I need this to work.
I recently upgraded from Windows 7 build 6978 to 7100 and now my Logitech A-0374a usb headset does not work completely. The biggest problem I have is that if it is not a windows sound it is very distorted. For instance when I got to pandora on firefox I can hear the music fine but if any lyrics are played then it is lost in the lyrics. Also it crackles the entire time.
Also if someone talks in ventrilo and I don't have them turned up by 800% then can't even tell they said anything and even at 800% it is like a whisper. On another note my realtek audio works perfectly fine.
I'm having a problem with my headset. Whenever i play a game or listen to music, after about 5-10 minutes the sound turns into gargled crap. Like a choppy, sputtering static noise. I'm using 'Digital Precision Headset' by Logitech. It has worked fine for me on XP, so i don't see what the problem could be. The driver sofware comes with windows, so logitech doesnt offer driver support for it. I did however un-plug/plug-in to see if windows(7) would reinstall the drivers. It did, but i still cant get them to work right. Which sucks for online gamming, because i dont have another mic to use.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSeems like I'm having similar issues to others here after a quick search. The one page I've found that said it had answers has a link that comes back saying I cannot access it.
I have a Jawbone Prime that I wish to use with vent and skype but cannot get the bluetooth device peripheral driver to install. I have attempted using the Broadcom software linked in most posts but it does not do anything but remain on the searching for devices page. I've also attempted to use the Asus software that is recommended in some posts but although it installs only provides me with a small window saying there is no bluetooth device present.
The computer finds the headset, but I cannot get it working. Can someone help me?
I have a Toshiba Portege R835 with Windows 7 Home Premium x64. I am using a Medialink BT Adapter 3.0+HS Class 2 specs. I am able to pair with my Nokia C3 00 mobile but my BH 503 headset cannot even be detected by my laptop. what drivers need to be downloaded for my BH 503 to be detected.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Plantronics 360 bluetooth headset device. When I used windows XP, the headset could normaly connect to my MSI EX 610X Laptop with build-in bluetooth device. Now, I'm using Windows 7 x64. The headset also normaly connects to the laptop, but the sound that comes from the microphone in headset is awful, just "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" as I speak. And the sound in speaker (of plantronics) is also just "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"... What should I do ?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 2 speakers, nothing fancy. And a Sennheiser USB headset. Problem is when I set my default audio device to Realtek High Def Audio, my speakers work and my headphones don't. I have to manually set the default device to my headphones, but then my speakers don't work.
Is there a way to have audio through both?
Since upgrading our Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PI1505 to Windows 7 in the past few days I've only been able to get sound through a headset and not through the speakers. Not particularly having a clue what to do I've tried installing the original audio drivers but can't do so as Windows tells me that more up to date drivers are already installed.
Any ideas on how to resolve this problem and if indeed it is a driver issue any ideas how I can get the old driver to replace the new without Windows reinstalling the latest ones on Restart.
I'm using a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum sound card and an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium 939 NVIDIA nForce4 motherboard. This setup worked fine on WinXP with my Logitech headset plugged into the Mic slot on my sound card. Never had a problem and never had to mess with any settings.
Now, since doing a clean install of Windows 7, my Mic is picking up major feedback. If I happen to set the headset down or brush a finger along the actual microphone receiver, my speakers crackle and break-up.
When I was trying to fool around with the recording properties under Sound, the "What You Hear" device is the one picking up my mic. There's also a volume bar to the right of the sound devices where it shows sound coming out of the respective device. Whenever I have sound coming out of my speakers, I also have it showing up on the "What You Hear" device as well.
I normally use my headset in Ventrilo, and now whenever I talk, my mic also plays back anything that comes over my speakers as well.
Is this a driver problem or has anyone else had any similar problems? I've tried messing with multiple settings with my speaker settings as well as the "What You Hear" device with no luck. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I have a problem with my headset, I plug my headet in yet I cannot see it in playback devices and cannot get them to work. It connects with a green and a pink pin (I'm not sure what they're called, I hope you know what i mean).
But my speakers do actually work fine.
Hopefully someone will be able to help solve this, because I am stumped. I bought a rocketfish USB bluetooth adapter almost a year ago now. I also got a Motorola H15 bluetooth headset at the same time. Everything worked fine in XP and even when I had Windows 7 RC, I used the headset as a mic for ventrillo, teamspeak, etc.
I recently built a new rig a month ago and have Windows 7 ultimate x64 installed.
The USB adapter was installed fine by windows itself and I updated to the newest driver online. I turned the headset on and the adapter found the device. Windows 7 is now asking for a driver in order for the headset to work though. I don't remember it ever doing that before in XP or Windows 7 RC.
Windows 7 can not find a driver for the headset, even if I tell it to look online. I don't think there is even a "driver" for this, because it works off the adapter by pairing it.
Windows 7 sees my bluetooth device. It shows the services as available and (via checkmarks in the boxes) selected for use. But my headset never shows up in the Playback devices and no sound comes through the headset.
Any ideas?
