View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a bluetooth dongle [URL] to connect my phone to my computer. While the bluetooth dongle is plugged into the computer (windows 7), the computer will not go to sleep. It won't even go to sleep if I manually put it to sleep. I didn't see any settings in device manager to fix the issue.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever a USB device is plugged into my laptop (any of the USB ports), the CPU usage goes way up. It stays up even when the device is then unplugged, and the only way to bring it back down is to either reboot, or to go into "sleep" (when Windows resumes the problem is gone).
The Windows 7 resource monitor indicates that the problem is System Interrupts - Deferred Procedure Calls and Interrupt Service Routines. I have updated my drivers for each thing, and that has not helped. Not has lots of Google searches on this problem.
Running Windows 7 Home Professional 64 bit, on a Toshiba Portege R705-P41.
I bought a new MP4 from ebay, and it came with a usb cable, however when I plug the usb cable in to my computer, it will not find the device. It will only charge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnything that I plug into the usb ports isn't recognized on my computer. When I plug something in, my computer doesn't make the usual "bloomp" sound and nothing pops up. When I search for my usb in my computer, it's not there. My computer acts like I didn't plug anything in.
View 4 Replies View Relatedget my Windows 7 64 bit PC to reconize my HTC Inspire cell phone. What happens is when I plu it in to any USB port I get an pop up error "USG Device Not Recognized" and looking at my device manager/Serial Bus Controllers it says "Unknown Device". I uninstalled every controller and restarted PC and they re installed and still get the same error. I installed the HTC driver from their web site and still same error. Whats odd it doesn't work on this PC but works on my other laptop.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been getting really annoying sounds while playing CS:S that freezes the screen for half a second.. It sounds like the device plugged in / device removed sound.. and it happens randomly. It even happens when I'm not playing any games. I don't have any USB devices that are plugged in except for my USB mouse.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an HP rp5700 system which is connected to a Windows Mobile (6.1) device. If the mobile device is plugged in and turned on, the computer will hang on the HP Event bootup options screen. None of the options will be displayed at the bottom. If I then either a) unplug the device b) undock the device or c) turn off the device, the boot options will appear, and Windows will then boot up without an issue.I tried changing the boot order, but to no avail. I've also tried unplugging the device, going into BIOS, and plugging the device back in - the BIOS screen gets really, really sluggish until I unplug/undock/switch off the device.
The BIOS is up to date. This doesn't happen with Windows XP Pro, only Windows 7 (Professional, 32-bit). One suggestion I heard was that Windows 7 has issues with connected devices it thinks are USB flash drives (although the device in question isn't in USB mode at the time). I have no other USB devices connected, as the mouse and keyboard are both PS2.
I have my Dell N4010 Inspiron 14R laptop/notebook with the OS of windows 7 32bit Ultimate.
My bluetooth was previously working fine with the driver Dell wireless 365 Bluetooth Driver 6.2.1.100 A00 win 32/64bit R273580. I notice that this past days when i connect my N6120c phone via bluetooth, my laptop didn't have any reaction, when i see my system tray no bluetooth icon was presented, previously there it is. So i manually run the bluetooth through BTTray.exe from CProgram FilesWIDCOMMBluetooth Software, but my laptop didn't react to it. So i look at the device manager and there was no trace of bluetooth, previously there was a Peripheral Bluetooth. So i manually re-install the driver and then its stuck on this page, Activate Bluetooth using Wireless Switch, on the lower right it say Cancel Installation.
i installed driver hp and successfully install driver.HP ProBook 4530s Notebook PC*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center. But still in device manager not installed and when try for Bluetooth software. it show this message: no bluetooth device was detected. please make sure that your bluetooth device is plugged

View 3 Replies View RelatedSony Vaio VPCSA290S Laptop purchased 1 year ago. Win7 SP1,Bluetooth device: Foxconn-T77H114-BCM2070 drivers up to date (to the best of my knowledge and hours of searching)I recently purchased a Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker. I cannot get it to successfully pair with my laptop. When I add the device it installs 3 additional drivers, adds itself to my bluetooth devices but will not work (ie make noise). The speaker does not complete the pairing like it does with my phone (it beeps and an indicator light appears). When I right click the soundlink icon in bluetooth devices and select the control header i get a "the device fails to initialize..." message. (perhaps i am not meant to be able to access the device in this manner i don't know). I have re-installed the drivers for my internal bluetooth device twice. I have tried every combination of steps from the Bose troubleshooting "guide" in their manual and on their website (resetting the device, resetting the bluetooth memory, distance from laptop, other bluetooth devices turned off, etc). I have searched the internets for hours now and am unable to find a similar situation (though sometimes i miss things right under my nose). I have a feeling it is software related, as I have checked device manager, bluetooth settings over and over and it says that my bluetooth radio is functioning fine
