May 23, 2011I just bought a new Hp desktop presario, when I first got it I could watch video from any source online and it would stream no problem. Then a couple of weeks ago things changed, now if I open a tv show from any of the online sources none of the shows will stream as before, they will run maybe up to 5 minutes and then pause. I then have to restart the video stream. I have tried both IE and Mozilla, I get the same result, I have updated FlashPlayer with no change. I can see that it is a system issue on my machine but cannot locate what needs to be reset. I have created a new user as well to see if that will work but nothing changes.

Apr 10, 2011I have just begun to use Windows Media Player to stream my movies and music when not home (or over the network while in a different area of the house) and I can't get any of my HD stuff to play or even show up in the player. Is there a codec I can get that will allow me to do it, or any other way?

Make Internet Download Manager Only Take In Streaming Media?
Feb 10, 2013I see that there have been several posts about IDM, but none of them have answers for what I'm looking to do. There is no issue with IDM, just an annoyaIDM is great, I use it all the time. But I don't want it to handle all of my downloads. Sometimes, it doesn't work properly with certain sites (the ones that make you wait a certain amount of time before you can download the file), and it's during those times that I really hate IDM.What I want changed is for IDM to only intercept streaming files, not files I could otherwise download anyway (like programs, etc). Is there a way to make IDM only take in streaming files?

Dec 5, 2011I have done a fresh install with hopes of it possibly being a driver error but I believe it may be an hardware issue as I just had another BSOD while playing a game. On a side note this is usually when I get the BSOD either playing a game or trying to livestream, which leaves me to believe it maybe is a RAM/GPU error.

BSOD When Streaming To Roku 2 - Ntoskrnl And Tcpip.sys?
Jan 10, 2012This BSOD only started happening when we started streaming videos from our PC to our Roku 2 using PMS(Plex Media Server).Sometimes, not all the time, we will be 5 minutes into a video and it'll BSOD. The 3 most recent were caused during that time. The first 4 BSOD's in my attachment I believe were from driver issues. Maybe you can verify that as well.I've posted in the PLEX forums about it but didn't have any more info other than what bluescreenview provides. I'm guessing it's a conflict with avast AV or other third party software. I searched for an update for the NIC driver since tcpip.sys is mentioned, but there are none since 2009.

Mar 7, 2012I get a BSOD/STOP error when streaming Hulu. The BSOD will appear after streaming roughly 10 minutes of video, then the system is set to restart so it will restart. After prompting safe mode etc. it will start as normal and we will be able to watch a video on Hulu plus all the way through with no errors [code] I moved files from an XP machine to this system using an external hard drive and Windows easy move (inbuilt Windows 7 wizard). I have used Lenovo's One Key recovery to recover the system but the BSOD still appears after a successful run. I do not remember if the BSOD occurred after the file move or right out of the box but I suspect that it was due to the file move. My IT guy at work has recommended a full system restore. I suppose I can search for a thread that explains such a procedure but wanted to know if a more knowledgeable person could come up with a different fix.In addition , and maybe related I cannot complete an update using Windows Update. I can download the updates just fine.But when it comes to applying them, the system will begin applying the updates with the progress bar, but after 2 minutes, I will receive a fail message everytime.

Apr 23, 2012Acer ASPIRE M3802 (details to follow) starts making buzzing noises while I am playing videos, especially when buffering multiple videos at a time e.g. in multiple tabs of browser. This starts happening at irregular intervals, sometimes just after 10 mnts, sometimes after about an hour or so. The system actually freezes every few seconds. This continues till the system displays BSOD or I restart it. After restart, it is fine for quite a long time but eventually the problem starts again.

May 11, 2012I began seeing a blue screen about 5 months ago when I first got my computer, and after posting here with one BSOD report, I was informed of the fact that Avast Virus scanning software could be the culprit. After uninstalling the software, I no longer received the problem. 5 months later, the issue has come back. I've recently installed Fraps and Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 on my machine. I saw the BSOD appear once again 2 days ago and it seems to appear while streaming video and installing a game. I also see my machine hard-lock while streaming video from time to time, but I think the BSOD does not officially trigger, so hard-locking is the result.

Jan 14, 2009first of all i'm not completely sure that it's actually IE that makes the computer go BSOD, since the picture i so blurry that you cant really make anything else out than the colours... but today it has "died" twice, both times while surfing the internet respectively on wikipedia and facebook.
Of course it could also just be laptop giving up, since it is after all almost 3 years old. i don't know if it's of any use for you, but it's a HP Pavillion dv5113eu with the following specs ( completely standard): AMD Mobile Sempron 3000+, 1 GB RAM, ATi Radeon Xpress 200M (128 MB dedicated) and a 60 GB HDD
the installation is completely clean, except that i've installed Office '07 Enterprise, Winamp, Avast and Windows Live Messenger.

I've Found out that the reason for the blackouts appears to be over-heating. even though i still have no idea as to why the BSOD looks strange. will upload pic soon.

Nov 17, 2011Attachment 184027Windows 7, x64. Intel Core2 Duo CPU, 4 gig ram Original installation on the system, and I've never reinstalled it. I've had the laptop for about 1.5 years, Dell Studio 1555. It was bought new.
I get the BSOD at random moments, and it usually says fltmgr.sys (something like this) and the Driver Equal or Inequal message. I'm usually using my computer to go on the internet, although sometimes there's a BSOD when I close the lid. (I know because when I boot up the computer again it tells me there was an unexpected shutdown.)

May 6, 2012I've had this issue before & it was bad RAM before so i replaced my RAM in late March and have not had issues since until a few minutes ago, I was watching a live stream on ustream.tv of the Nevada GOP Convention while also browsing facebook and Reddit and everything suddenly locked up on me and then a BSOD occurred forcing a reboot of my system, I have attached the .zip file to this post to hopefully finally get to the bottom of this issue..Is Windows 7

It has happened from the start and I finally am fed up with it.It can happen during web browsing. Playing video in media center will do it. Also, when I see the blue screen, I read that the driver "anodlwfx.sys" (System security filter, or something like that) is causing the problem for every bsod, I removed the file from windows folder, and computer worked perfectly, but I coudn't go to the internet, the used system restore, to restore that missing file.
