i've just installed Windows 7 ultimate x86 on my new SERVER PC and i have BSOD when it expand windows files, so i choose install it's hard drive on an another pc, then i pull back the hard drive to my server and it's work and logging to my dekstop but it's just for a while when my server pc be BSOD again?
View 1 RepliesI am building two servers with identical hardware ... Intel S5520HCT mother board, dual Xeon E5607 2.26GHz, Seagate SATA 2TB drive, 8GB Crucial memory and OCZ Agility SSD drives. I am using the onboard video and motherboard has been update with the latest BIOS.
But when I install Windows 7 Pro 64 to 50GB partition on the SATA drive, or to a single partition SSD ... the system hangs after the final reboot right after "Updating Registry" and "Starting Services" during the "Completing Installation" phase. The next input should be username and computer name ... but it never gets to that.
I have minimum hardware attached ... disabled networking in BIOS ... and tried with a number of different memory configurations ... etc .. etc ... but still the same result .. and I am now totally clueless. I even tested all my hardware on a Tyan S7025 board ... and there it installs without any issues.
Does anybody know how to change the boot screen on an Intel S5520HCT serverboard?

View 8 Replies View RelatedWe'll I've found others with similar issues, but none exactly like this. Have the HDD and SDD setup on RAID0 due to using IRST. 64Gb of the SDD is allocated as RAID0. When W7 prompts me to select the drive for W7 installation the only disk that appears is the 64Gb unallocated SDD sector.I've loaded the IRST 64bit drivers from the ASUS Mobo disk too. It recognizes the file I direct it to, but once loaded it still only recognizes the 64Gb unallocated SDD.

The computer will start fine after you do the fresh install of windows 7 prof. 64 bit with the default video driver from windows. I've updated my bios using gigabyte's @bios tool and I've tried installing th drivers from the disc, from intel's website and with automatic update in device manager. Could a corrupt windows install file cause this issue? I downloaded the ISO from the Microsoft website when I bought the product key.

Im thinking of installing the proper Intel ones from Download Search Results but since they dont have Windows 7 drivers yet, Ill just use the Vista ones.

I've formatted and reinstalled a couple times but no luck. I got the NVM Update Utility for Intel 82579V and ran it from an admin prompt, but it says it isn't needed.

I am using an Asus x58 P6TDeluxe and running Windows 7 x64 OEM. I have tried installing the chipset driver and intel matrix storage manager driver (to get SAS working) but both say "Does not support this operating system WNT_6.0P_64_MCE" and "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software. Setup will exit".
Tried using 32,64, vista, 7, everything.
Can somebody shine some light on my situation?
Ok. so I'm trying to install this Intel 802.11bg driver on my Tosh lappy. (I am installing it from a USB Flash drive, since the machine has no network connections.)
I install in XP2 compatability mode, and the report is that the installation is correct. But on restart, "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter".
Is there a workaround?

1) download any Drivers Backup software, like DriverMax which is Free
2) boot your Vista or previous Windows 7 which has working Intel drivers and "Export" your video drivers from your Drivers Backup Software, say DriverMax
3) boot to Windows 7.build 7000 and "Import" your drivers in your Drivers Backup Soft, like DriverMax
I had a successful raid 5 array setup. It was assigned to g and while I was installing ps3 media server and then java it lost it's drive assignment. It shows up under disk management but asks me to initialize it. I really don't want to do that because it will format and i will lose the data on the volume. What else can i do to get my array to show up in windows with my data intact?

An error screen popped up but I didn't think too much of it. 30 seconds later I got a blue screen. I let it go through the process to restart. When I logged back in, it blue screened again. When it came back up I went into safe mode to look at the event viewer. It says "The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer ROB-PC". Rob-pc is a different computer in my house. I shut it down and this one has been up since.

I Bought i custom built pc 2 days ago and have finished updating. I decided to check if i had any outdated drivers by going on intel driver utility. After clicking check drivers it instantly crashed and came up with the BSOD. I reinstalled windows 7 pro 64x and it's done it again. I have an Amd Quad core Pc. A10-5800k. View 2 Replies View RelatedI then got a BSOD and my boot disk (an SSD) disappeared from the BIOS. I thought I was in big trouble. I have another controller so I plugged the SSD into the other one and booted to it and rolled back to the MS driver (just for the SATA controller). I then put everything back together.
Everything seems to work now. Do I need to take any further steps to prevent this from happening again? What happened?
I have had several BSOD since I bought my VAIO in May 2011 but it seemed they have dissapeared until today. I was doing a profiling with Intel VTUNE in order to count the failure access to the cache memory when the BSOD appeared.
I don't know if it's caused by a hardware problem or just software but I'm really worried about it because I need the computer to work.

So I was using my laptop over on a friends LG 47" TV and when I plugged it into my SVideo output on my Toshiba laptop with the Intel 965 Video card, the screen started to flash as it was trying to recognize the tv. I would get popups of the Video Driver was saved from a crash, but the screen would keep on flashing when it would go to a BSOD. I tried it twice and it ended the same way. I've used this before with my own normal tvs at home and it would work fine. Has anyone else run into a similar problem?
