May 13, 2012As the title says my computer screen flickers white when gaming. Ive pre loaded driver software which have indicatedthat alot of drivers are out of dare.

Aug 16, 2012i am using nvidia geforce 520mx on my samsung laptop.the screen is flickering so much while playing medal of honor.i am on latest drivers directly from nvidia(issue is there even before the update). bug in game:no,the game dosent flickers when played on discrete graphics.

Feb 5, 2011This is a new pc build using various parts we have accumulated. When using Internet Explorer I get app crashes. I have been playing DC Universe Online and get random app crash, display drivers stop responding, apphangB1, I also lose monitor signal. Here is a list of fixes we have tried already:
-We have disabled internet explorer add ons and even tried disabling IE completely, to no avail
-We have swapped out the 5770 for an 8800 GTX that we know works, same problem
-We have the latest BIOS/drivers
-We have run SpeedFan, CPU temp 41C
-We have run Memtest for both sticks of RAM at the same time in slots 1 and 3 and there was an error, so we tried to isolate the bad RAM by testing invidivual sticks in slot 3 - no errors on either stick? therefore, we put the sticks in slots 3 and 4, assuming there may be a problem with slot 1 - worked ok for a couple of hours, then game crashes and black screen with sound requiring reboot. Monitor is fine, as it works on my BF's pc with no problems.
-We have tried a couple of installs of Windows 7
-We have run chkdsk - no errors.The BIOS is running on default, nothing overclocked - we have used the correct timings for the RAM and autotimed them, same problem
We are currently not using an antivirus because we did not want to add more problems, but we will get AVAST.My BF has given up now, as there is nothing else he can think of to try. I feel we are so close to resolving the issue, as it did run fine for a while, but then a bunch of errors all at once. If it helps, here is a copy of the error log.

Nov 10, 2011i am in dire need of some help with my pc. I am experiencing numerous BSOD issues. It started out whilst gaming with Battlefield 3 but is now happening all the time weather it be browsing the internet or just doing nothing. (If it helps firefox is crashing all the time). the computer is 10 months old and ran fine up until recently.I have had page fault, memory management, NTFS fault, bad pool, system exception.I have reviewed the forums and tried all the usual fixes, which goes along these lines:I used memtestx86 on my ram and found i had a dead stick so i purchased new 2 x 2G OZ 1333mhz, tested them for 20hrs and when they tested fine replaced the old sticks. Great i thought sorted, alas no.I removed AVG as one of the dmp files indicated it was that.nope carried out a chkdsk / r which showed no errors I removed all my nvidea drivers as they were being indicated but no its now worse than ever.I have attached the minidump files i have had over the past two days.

Flickering Screen
Oct 24, 2009I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop (far beyond the requirements). Before the installation, I was running Windows XP. I am currently attempting to play Warcraft III but the screen flickers every 15 seconds. The game has been reinstalled successfully, including appropriate updates, screen resolution, and refresh rate.
Nothing fixes the flickering and it is a little annoying. Can anyone help me out or suggest some possible solutions?

3 days ago, I started getting these 'flickering' pop ups at the top left hand corner of my screen. Some are whole ads and others are just bits and pieces like a 'puzzle'. They are non-stop and especially when I am on my AOL 'Welcome/home page'. I can hardly read what is displayed on my left screen.

Aug 1, 2009i have got windows 7 ultimate 32bt 6.1 build 7600 and i have got a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5355.
I have just installed Civilization 4 and when it loads the screen flickers blue while the movies are playing and then when its on the main menu it flickers but not a blue screen just its all weird.
I can remember last week Windows Update updated my SIS mirage 3 graphics driver and i have had windows 7 installed for about 2 weeks now.

8600gt Black Flickering Screen
Nov 14, 2009i have just installed 7 32bit onto a clean hdd, everything is great apart from my 8600gt!
i have an asrock nf6g vsta (built in vga), the built in vga works fine but my 8600gt displays a black flickering screen in vga mode and dvi (it sometimes comes up with a fraction of the top part of the screen but it is flickering)
when i have tried both out (onboard and 8600), i have disabled the other display adaptor so there shouldnt be conflict about them both running at once
i have previously had 7 installed with no problems with this card, but hard drive failiure leaded to a new drive and now this error. my display is a samsung 2232bw too.

I know it's not the TV or the cables, since using my laptop (and others) worked fine.I updated her display drivers. Jan 10, 2013Basically this white screen (sometimes with blue lines running down sometimes without) has been appearing on startup. At first it just appeared in place of the windows logo before log in, but now it's appearing earlier on and the only way to bypass it is to hit the power button and hope it loads up properly. I've tried disabling/uninstalling the display driver and this has either (a) caused the laptop to crash to the white screen or (b) nothing, just back to white screen appearing at intervals.

I browsed a few likely-looking threads but did not immediately see what I was looking for.I have a Dell Inspiron PC which came with the Windows 7 operating system. If more details about my computer are necessary, a bit of direction I'm good at following directions but I'm by no means a computer wizard.When I start the computer it starts normally, no weird messages during startup. The logon screen shows up as normal, and I key in my password and tap enter. I see the word "Welcome" as usual, but it seems to be "thinking" much longer than normal before logging me on all the way. Instead of my normal background I see a completely white screen without any icons or taskbar. I can see my cursor though. After a moment or two, my regular background appears and all seems to be normal. I ran my virus scan (Webroot), and that came up with no results. Not sure what to do next.

Apr 10, 2011I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Following a recent restart, windows would load to a white desktop (or black in safemode) and a missing taskbar. The desktop, apart from being completely white, can't be interacted with (no drag and pull boxes). The taskbar is gone and the windows key won't bring up the start menu.I can still access the task manager and have used that to navigate through my documents and to access my web browser (hence my being here now). Because I can still access and run everything through the task manager and command window, I haven't lost any utility, but I'd like my taskbar and desktop back.

Oct 3, 2012Recently I've been experiencing a white screen after I log in. It appears for about 2 minutes and then everything loads as normal, but everything does seem a little slow.
I got the white screen a few times, tried to boot in safe mode but it got stuck at 'classpnp.sys'. My laptop is working as normal right now, I left the white screen and it finally showed my desktop, but should I be worried about these white screens?
I'm using an asus a52f with 3gb ram. Sorry if this isn't enough info, I'll try to give any more details if you need them.

May 16, 2011I have recently purchased an Acer Veriton X275 with Windows 7 Professional and I am experiencing a nuisance issue.The screen background changes from near white to grey either, after a time lapse or on depression of keyboard key.This can be temporarily rectified by switching the monitor off and then on and, occasionally, by depressing Ctrl/Alt/Del, entering Task Manager and then cancelling.It seems as though a screen energy saver is operating but I am unable to locate it to extend the period before it cuts in.

Nov 16, 2012I have found at least one other person that had a similar problem, but the information you provided for that problem doesn't seem to fit my symptoms. That person was seeing the message "please wait while connection is being established", I am not getting any messages, just a flashing black to white screen that stays white.
When booting, my screen will flash white. If the boot is successful, which is less than 50% of the time,I then see the loading windows screen and the computer goes ahead and boots normally. But, more often than not, I never see the booting windows screen and the monitor will just flash from black to white, several times, and then stays white. I do get the windows music to indicate that the boot was successful,but I can only see a blank white screen, no icons or mouse cursor. If I press the power button a couple of times, the system will usually eventually give me a screen that looks like the system was paused and is waiting for a user to be selected and a password to be entered. Once I am able to access the system, it seems to work normally. I have waited as long as 15 minutes or so to see if the boot will complete once I get the white screen, but it never seems to go any further.
I have checked for a virus using my virus checker, Viper antivirus, and checked for malware using malware bytes, but can find nothing. I even started a boot log to see if I could see any indication in the log file, but I can see nothing.
