Unable To Log Into WoW

I've recently updated my drivers (mainboard, network card, and graphics card) and for some reason I am unable to log into WoW with 3 of my 4 characters. I can log in with my rogue just fine and run around, but as soon as I try to log in any other character (warrior, druid, or DK) I'm instantly disconnected from the server as well as from my home network. The only fix is to restart the computer so I can get back onto the network. I've tested removing all addons, deleting the WTF, Cache, and Interface folders. I've done a repair using the Blizzard repair .exe and I'm still only able to log in using the rogue. I have two desktops and a laptop at home and I don't have a problem playing the game on any character using the other desktop or the laptop. I'm pretty sure there is some sort of corrupted file for WoW in my system and I'm wondering if there is a fix other than reinstalling the entire game.

I am unable to send email. Using Vista. Have emptied outbox as suggested in other posts. Outbox was emptied without difficulty, sent to drafts, then deleted. Created new email - tried to send - still couldn't. Error message - unable to connect to smpt server. Have gone to tols - accounts - servers - re-entered info.

With my PC I do have 2 internal DVD/CD-ROM and another external via USB. All 3 disappeared from "My Computer" and from "Disc Manager" and I am now unable to use anyone of them. But in "Device Manager" they are shown with a yellow mark and a "!". If I uninstall anyone of them and reboot it will appear again in "Device Manager" with that mark. If I try to update its controller the Windows search Internet and a message says that best controller for it is already installed. But it is still not appearing in My Computer. All other hardware and programs are working OK including external storage, printer and scanner.

I got a laptop with Vista Ultimate 32bit and a XP desktop
Both of my PC is connected to DSL-2640T Modem+Router.
I change both my PC under MSHOME group.
My laptop using wireless connection & my desktop is on cable.
I have read some thread by installing a update on XP and reset in Vista but nothing happens.

i have recently ran a registery cleaner, i do not know why. I am now having troubles with my windows vista operating system. i think i'm kickin a dead horse here but i'm unable to get or update SP1 & 2 on my PC. i bought this PC 3 years ago with Vista on it. I thought i was getting all the updates i needed from HP. i guess not. When i go to windows updates, it looks for a minute then comes up with the 80080005 error. the no updates error. ok, so i got a hold of the HP people and they gave me links to do everything to make my horse come alive--AND jump through hoops. it ain't happenin......

i realize my CPU is kind of a weak link in my set up but i've had excellent results overclocking it until i moved to vista. I previously ran XP Professional SP3 and had the system overclock to 3.1Ghz with no issues. The CPU temp ran at full load around 39C. Before i upgraded to vista i set all system settings back to default did my upgrade and then proceeded to push my overclock again. No matter when i changed my settings to it would show only the 2.8Ghz for processer speed in system settings. According to my motherboard the bus speed and multiplier are set high enough to obtain the 3.1 overclock again but the system settings are showing it only at 2.8Ghz.

I have been trying for ever to do an upgrade install, vista home premium 64 over vista home premium 64 to solve some WU problems but haven’t had any luck. I have no service packs installed, and are trying to upgrade from a non service pack vista disk. It seems to skip asking me if I want to upgrade at all. It goes like this
Insert vista DVD
Click install now
Product key screen (i don't put it in right now)
Choose version (home premium 64)
Agree to license

It asks to select partition (I dual boot xp)
After I choose the partition that contains my vista installation it gives me a warning that files may already be there and they will be moved to windows.old I went ahead and agreed once and it went to the screen that said copying files 0%... at which point I clicked cancel. I was afraid to leave it to see if it would..............

I just recently built a new PC and I am installing windows home premium 64 bit for the first time on a PC. When installing vista everything was normal until there was a reboot in the installation. After the reboot it sent me to a windows error recovery screen where I am unable to select anything using the keyboard. The default selection is start windows normally so I wait for the countdown to finish because I have no other choice. Then it boots up and says the following:
The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. So I click ok because once again I have to. Note: The keyboard is working again. This continues over and over again so I tried to reinstall windows again. I get the PC to boot from the DVD drive by using my keyboard and then it says: Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.

Just recently I have been unable to download anything. I dont get an error or anything, it just acts like it is downloading but when its done there is no icon for me to click on. I have tried downloading to my desktop, making a folder and downloading it in there nothing works. And its not one thing in specific, I am unable to download anything at all. I thought it could be an IE problem so I tried downloading Firefox to see if that would work but I cant download that either. Hitting "run" does the same thing, the dialog box appears and it acts as if it is completing but then nothing happens it just dissappears.

I downloaded and installed the vist drivers for lexmark x2530 its all good but when I try to fax it says send failed with no what sounds like modem connect. Tried other software like Faxmachine and able to fax with no problems. Where could my problem be.

I am running vista Business and am unable to print from any web page using IE7. The problem does not exist in Firefox or with any other application - Office 2007, Acrobat, etc. I am told that turning off 'protected mode' would solve the problem. Is there any fix that is a little less dangerous and time consuming? I have uninstalled and reinstalled printer [wireless] with fresh drivers. Printer is physically connected to a XP Home machine but attaching it to one of the Vista computers makes no difference.

Ive had my Dell laptop for about 3 years and for the past year or so I have been unable to turn off my comp because everytime I do Windows never starts properly and makes me so system repair a couple times until finally it will boot properly after about an hour of repair. If anyone knows or has heard of a similar problem please let me know. (I have reformatted my comp a couple times in an effort to fix this and any other tech problems my Dell gives me)

I have Windows HP with Vista Sp1 installed on my Black Viper tweaked pc and am very satisfied with its performance ; however I wish to install Win Vista SP2 and have run into major roadblocks. I have read through many suggestions on this topic but still no joy after a month or more of trying. Initially, the download would start, then stop after 99% was installed and revert back. Now when trying to install, I get a message that SP1 is not installed and I must install it first . SP1 is installed but I tried to reinstall it to no avail.
When trying to reinstall SP1 I get a message that SP1 is already installed, then the reinstallation stops.! Yet, my attempts to install SP2 tell me I must first install SP1. I have tried the SFC / SCANNOW and chkdsk /r repairs to no avail . I have also tried repairing my system with the Microsoft OEM HP installation disk but the repair does not address my issues. I do not wish to reinstall Vista from scratch since my system is working very nicely except for this glitch. I am chasing my tail and need some help with this problem.

My Vista system crashed and I was unable to use restore so I borrowed a restore disk from a person that had Dell. When Purchased, my system was HP. The restore worked but now I don't have any progroms. The only thing that came up was the recycle icon and clock. How can I retrieve my original programs or any programs?

When I do it, the white bar at the bottom of the screen saying "Windows is loading files". Next is the black screen with the "Microsoft Corporation" and a running green bar at the bottom of the screen. And that???s it. The screen gets black after that and nothing happens. No HDD activity of any kind. I have a Norton Save and Restore CD for my computer which used to work just fine, but also with this CD I am running into the 100% exact same problem. Any bootable CD I have which doesn???t boot directly into Windows Vista is working perfectly. I also can boot from e.g. my old Windows XP CD. And, the Windows (Vista) installation DVD starts without problems at all in my other computer...

I have Vista Ult. I have thousands of faxes in my Sent Folder that are up to 7 years old, many from XP. Since I have re-installed Vista, I have been unable to get Fax and Scan to view these previous faxes under the Sent Items folder. The new faxes are saving in the same folder as the ones from XP and my previous Vista install. I cannot view any old faxes in the Sent Items folder, I have to go to the Fax folder in my Documents that I have set up as my folder of record in order to view them. I was never able to get Fax and Scan to view the old Faxes from XP even though they appear to be saved in the same cryptic fashion as those saved in Vista.

I have an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop that has repeatedly failed to install the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 since August 2008. I have installed KB947821-v4,v5,and v6 x86 updates to resolve this issue, but the sp1 update continues to fail. I have been on the phone with Microsoft for three days. I allowed them remote access to my laptop; they disabled firewalls, and virus and spyware protection, blocked startup programs, and they have had no luck either. I even tried to update in safe mode, but was unable to do so as well. I loathe Vista, and would like to use my upgrade to Windows 7 disc, but of course, the Windows 7 advisor tells me I cannot upgrade without the mythical and elusive Vista SP1 installed.

I have found over the past few days, via 'Yahoo answers' that more and more people are unable to access NBC.com. It also appears to be just affecting IE. I have ensured my OneCare anti-virus is up to date, downloaded installed and updated ad-aware, flushed dns, tried different dns servers, cleared all third party addons, tried IE in safe mode (or no addons mode), checked host file, ran system restore.. Going to the IP address for nbc.com (64.210.192.67) comes up with a page that simply says "It works!" Adding nbc.com to trusted sites makes browser cycle through a site via nbc.starcut.us before 'page can't be displayed'. Starcut.us (214.39.58.204) goes to an Apache test page. Firefox works fine.. will edit later if I come up with anything else

I want to uninstall ati catalyst 9.2 so i can try ati catalyst 9.7 with sims 2 and see if it has compatibility issues like 9.3-9.6 had for me.ATI catalyst 9.2 was all i could get to work with sims 2 and i want to try 9.7 to see what happens.
When i selected the ati catalyst icon in control panel to uninstall an error message appeared about ati catalyst installation manager stopped working.I did get the screen for removing the ati software and pressed next,but nothing happened except the ati catalyst icon in the programs section of control panel disappeared without actually uninstalling the driver/catalyst software.
Also,i retried uninstalling by pressing setup.exe in c:/ati/support/9-2_vista64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_75977/setup.exe
all that happens is that catalyst install manager stopped working error messages pop up and also i get problems and solutions icon appear after each uninstall failure regarding "solve a problem with microsoft visual studio".It's about this....

I've no idea if there is any relation,but before getting the hotfix i want to know what alternatives i have in uninstalling ati catalyst 9.2.

I have a problem in receiving e-mail,using either Windows Mail,Opera or Thunderbird.I can receive mail sent by local users(just a few miles away)but anything else cannot be received.I have no problem in receiving all mail using Virgin Web Mail.I am assuming that I must be using the correct configuration,otherwise how can I be receiving any mail at all?Oddly,the local mail I am receiving is all sent by home users,whereas the missing mail all appears to be from commercial organisations-is this significant?

This morning and afternoon I was able to download my e-mail. Now, this evening I cannot retrieve my mail. The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Verizon DSL', Server: 'incoming.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E. Does the above error massage indicate an error on the server, or might I have to change my settings?
