i looked up the POP3 and SMTP server information but when i try to send emails it gives me this error. The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section.
If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider. When I turn my PC on in the morning it takes about 15 minutes to hook up to the internet and then it is just fine all day. My ISP says it is my PC and HP says my PC is fine. I have ran the Identify and Fix Network problems. It says it can't fix and it might be several net work adapters. A couple times it said it couldn't find my ISP provider. Both said to delete history and cookies and it didn't work.

I have installed a certificate for my email in WM, but recently I cannot = send a digitally signed email, it gives me an error. I can send unsigned = emails, my email certificate exp. in 2010. How can I correct this error? = Am not facing such problems with other emails just one.

Say I have 10 individual Email recipients that I often send the same Email to. I want to be able to bring all the addresses together into one Group, and send the Email addressed to say "Family" or "Social Team" etc. Is there a way that I can lump all the common recipients together under one title?

In my 64-bit installation, the print spooler server suddenly stopped running (and will not restart). One day my Windows Mail decided that it won't let me send any emails. I use Earthlink and have been able to send through the website but not through Windows Mail like usual.
All the number and output addresses are correct.

Not a huge problem as I can at least send and receive emails manually but can anyone suggest why my Windows Mail account no longer checks for new mail automatically, even though it's still set up to do so every minute? If I click on send/receive it comes up with an error message but no error code. And if I just click on receive email any messages come through straight away. I have no problem sending email or receiving it
by clicking on "receive mail" every so often, but I've spent ages trying to get back to how it used to be and can't. I hate giving in! The problem occurred after downloading a trial version of Norton and even though I uninstalled that (later trying AVG and now McAfee) the problem has persisted for months now.

Everytime i go to send a email to someone threw a link it doesnt let me, I get this message, windows mail could not be started because your computer is low on system resources. Most likely the problem is your computer is low on memory or is unstable.... I dont understand? This is a new comp and I have mcafee as a virus protection.
