when i start the game, everything goes fine for few minutes. the suddenly when i really start "playing" warcraft the computer just crashes and stays with the frozen screen on. what should i do next?

My concern is not that much on the Sex or Gore fact but I do have my hesitations about him being totally consume by it since two years ago he had that problem with RuneScape or something like that. I guess what I would like to know is just how adult is this game? Are there predators like in the chat rooms and what have you? or is this just a clean open world fun game. Sorry if I seem like an idiotic parent, my kids pretty much run their computer unatended but I can't help to feel worry on the "Getting Consumed" part of it.

(ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)
I have turned off UAC, and I am running from an administrator account. I have deleted all files in my temp accoount. I have also (following the intructions on the WoW support site) copied the contents of the CD to a new folder on the desktop. I have also tried installing it into C:World of Warcraft (IE not into Program Files) - as advised on another forum. Nothing works.

Heres the problem: When I open wow through both *Launcher* and *Play*, my WoW gets stuck at connecting while I'm logging in. BUT. When I Run the program as administrator, all works fine, BUT. My guild I am in is a hard-core raiding guild and as the Main tank, I need to talk. When I run as administrator, I can play all honkey-torey, but when I press my PTT button, nothing happens!
The main question here is: How do I make is so I can log in properly, without having to run *Play* as a Admin?
I did a clean install on my new pc and its all patched up...and used the repair utility (it says wow is okay) everytime it loads i get my character up on the screen and everything looks fine...looks like imabout to start playing and then it just freezes and locks up...i have to reboot manually the whole computer...my computer more than meets the requirements...im lost on this...im trying to update all my drivers...but my graphics card and vista are updated...(which i would think are the most important)i have a asus m3a mb....amd phenom x4 9950 black edition...8gb 800speed memory..and a sata2 hdd? i thought it was bcuz vista and being 64 bit...but now im starting to think its the memory...maybe the memory installed on my computer isnt compatible with the mb? is anyone else on here playing wow? with a vista ult 64bit?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm sure this has been reported by several individuals before me, but ever since I have been playing World of Warcraft wirelessly on my new notebook with Vista I have been hiting these lag spikes every couple minutes, that can range anywhere from a second to 15. During this time cpu and disk spike to 100% usuage. I have tried updating my drivers for my NIC and my graphic card, as well as disabling a roam feature on the vista wireless network, but these have not halted the dreaded spikes. Also, I have tried playing while directly connected to the internet but even then the spikes occur. Does anyone know what is causing these spikes and what can be done to solve them?

Rendering graphics in photoshop, and most software design suites (been using eclipse for small projects lately). Where my system comes to its knees is when i try and play World of Warcraft. I get about 100fps for a random amount of time (as much as 20 minutes), and then it drops to an unplayable 3-10fps. I have updated to the latest Signed Drivers 175.16 by nvidia, I have tried the unsigned 175.75, I have updated my bios (which were causing a memory issue before), I have updated my sound drivers which i know... creative is not the best choice but its onboard.

When I restarted my computer, the problem starts here. very time I open my War3, It minimizes on my task bar. When I click it again, it maximizes for around 1 second then minimizes again. I know its running fine because I can hear the sounds of the program and I can see the menu for 1 second. I search the internet for similar problem but it looks like I'm the only one having this kind of problem. I tried Updating my Video Card driver, I think I have the latest. Reinstalling my War3, it works. But, whenever I restart my computer, the problem appear again. I need to shutdown my computer.

I have a problem with installing Warcraft III Reign of Chaos on my Windows 7 32-bit computer. Whenever I insert my CD Rom into my hardrive, I go to the WCIII installation window and enter my CD-Key information. After I'm done locating the file to put the folder in, it freezes and says "Not Responding" on the Windows topmost bar. It keeps on doing that for some reason and really gets annoying.

View 9 Replies View RelatedDamn PC games always have issues rising up for me. Well, I recently got World In Conflict, but singeplayer doesn't seem to work for me. Once the resources are loaded in a new game, it closes and the annoying "_________ has stopped working, windows is searching for a solution" window pops up. I tried installing the patch, but that didn't help either. I tried configuring Data Execution Prevention, and ran as administrator. The game is fairly new and it was mean to be compatible with Vista 32/64bit so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

Although i have successfully managed to connect to the machine via Internet Explorer in my own house using a laptop to connect to my home PC could someone explain to me how would it work if i was in another town etc... What i mean to say is how does it know the ip address as there are probably hundreds of thousands if not millions of ip address ranges that begin with 192.168.1 as these are generally used as home network addresses.
View 9 Replies View RelatedNo problems whatsoever for 6 months until Monday night black screen with blinking cursor. Rebooted. Got the message saying cannot start up normally.. disk may need synchronizing (can't remember the exact wording of any of messages)
1. tried to run chkdsk. hung for HOURS.
2. tried to run repair thingie from vista disk. that says it may take an hour or more but i gave up after 6 hours.
3. tried booting into safe modes. does not boot past crcdisk.sys
4. used vista disc again. said i cannot restore to an earlier point because of disk errors. was able to run cmd prompt. all my files are still on the C: moved some files to external drives without error using the move command............

Every game I play crashes, or fails to load at all, or gets into the game and crashes during map load. I have Vista Ultimate 64 installed. I have installed and re-installed the OS multiple times to no effect. I've downloaded all of the windows updates. During one of my first installs of vista, I was able to get in to games of codwaw, but then it would crash after about 5 secs.......

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using windows vista ultimate x64, and in random times when i am playing some games like worldd of warcraft, oblivion, PES 2009 etc. the computer freezes and the screen becomes full of squares of the last image i saw before the computer crashed (like: if i was casting a spell in world of warcraft i would see that very screen but with little squares, can't really describe it as it's weird). I tried re-installing video drivers and i made sure they are for x64 vista version. My computer spec is:

I try to play Warcraft III and Fifa 09 and they bouth crash...Fifa verry fast and Warcraft in 10-15 minutes. View 9 Replies View Relatedi have no idea how much information ya'll will need, so i'm gonna try to put as much as i can. forgive me if its too much. in short, while playing company of heroes my system randomly locks up, loops the last sound (usually gunfire) and the monitor goes completely white, olive/green, or blue. this usually happens after about an hour of playing. i read up on the problem, and found out that many people were having the same trouble i was. i've tried turning off dx10 and changing all of the visuals to 'high' (no ultra) which apparently has cured many other peoples' coh crashes...but it hasn't cured mine. to make matters worse, my system just crashed for the first time outside of coh today, while i was watching Internet. once again, an audio loop, and a wsod.
people have said that installing dx9 is the way to go, but that seems silly to me...and whats the deal with all these new colors of death? is microsoft trying to be a bit more colorful these days, or do they mean something? now, i wasn't really concerned about the crashes until it happened when i was surfing the web---these crashes had never happened during my marathon sessons of farcry2, or outside of coh...until today.......
I bought FM 2009 and today I finaly received it. But everty time I try to launch FM 2009 with Steam my PC crashes and turns into a blue screen with some text. it says delete the software which you just used. so I tryed to delete FM 2009 but I got the same message. some more info:

About 2 months ago I installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit on my PC. About 2 weeks ago it starting rebooting sometimes when I open something like an image file or even Internet Explorer. It doesn't happen evey time and only happens about once a day (but only when I go to open something). I want to figure this out so that I don't lose any data or end up with some data corruption. I have run the Windows memory diagnostic tool and it didn't find any issues. The only event in the Event viewer that even related to the issue, was an event logged after it finished rebooting that stated the PC was shutdown improperly.
