How To Convert HD Video And Not Lose The Quality?

Sep 22, 2009

hd(high-definition) video refers to any video system of higher resolution than standard-definition (sd) video, and most commonly involves display resolutions of 1280=d7720 pixels (720p) or 1920=d71080 pixels (1080i/1080p). and, when you want to upload these hd videos on Internet or play them on ipod, you will come across this problem - "i need to convert hd video formats for uploading or portable players, but why the output quality often gets bad after conversion?" this article can help your resolve this issue -convert hd video and not lose the quality.

this hd video converter supports hd video output and all resolution parameter of the hd video in the settings have been changed from 1280*720 to 1920*1080. so, you just need to select the output video format from the hd video column (mp4 for ipod, wmv for uploading, etc.) and adjust the resolution to 1920*1080 and bit rate to 10000 kbps or 8000kbps.(this hd video converter also supports setting resolution parameters manually, so you can type the data by yourself). after parameter adjusting, you can edit the video effect or start to conversion directly.

Poor Sound Quality And Sticky Videos

Jan 28, 2009

I just bought a new 64 bit computer with 4GB RAM and 3.1 GHz AMD Athlon64 AM2 Dual Core 6000+. Also got Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit. But my problem is that the sound is awful, it sounds like tapes in a cassette player when the batteries are running down, with added dropouts and crackles, especially when I minimise the media player when playing audio files, (i've tiried WMP, VLC, Zoom and WinAmp). Any videos I stream on the net also sound like this. AVI's also have poor sound quality and can also be "sticky" the picture not running smoothly.

My soundcard is fine, i've run different ones on the machine and they all sound like this, my amp, cables and speakers are working perfectly too. I never use more than 1.5GB RAM and about 20% of the CPU according to TaskManager.

Graphics Shows "high Quality

Feb 1, 2009

i am trying to watch videos in hd on Internet or episodes of on-line shows in "high quality". they are just using flash player 10. i understand i don't have a very fast connection (1.5 mps) but even if i pause the program and let it load, it still stops every 30 seconds or so and i get the "little circle of dots" is this a graphics issue? is it something else? is it my connection speed? i would think if i let it load first i should be able to view in higher quality.

Movie Maker Quality Declines Significantly... DVD Vs .MSWMM Format

Sep 10, 2009

I prepared my first slide show using Windows Movie Maker. It looked wonderful as I previewed it in Movie Maker. I used my own photos, which I shot in RAW with a Canon 40D, processed in Adobe Camera Raw, and made final adjustments in Photoshop CS4. I converted the files form .PSD to .JPEG, each being about 1.5 megs, though I could have had them be significantly larger. The photos were sharp and the colors were accurate when I viewed the previews in Movie Maker. I then saved the project to a DVD, usingvWindows DVD Maker. The photos lost their sharpness and the colors became muted. Additionally, some of the Movie Maker Effects looked trange. How do I get the .MSWMM quality in a more portable format?

I published the movie as follows: (1) Clicked ?Publish to DVD?, (2) Clicked ?Options?? (3) selected ?Start with DVD menu,? ?16:9,? ?NTSC,? DVD burner speed ?Slow,? ?Next.? I then clicked ?Customize menu? and made some minor changes to the foreground only. When I expanded the dialog box to full screen and clicked ?Preview;? the photo quality was quite good. (4) I clicked ?Burn.? I did not see any options to save at higher quality levels. As noted, the photo quality when I viewed the slide show from the DVD was not good. I am using Vista 64-bit. I have a Dell Studio XPS 435MT desktop with 8 Gigs of RAM, an Intel Core i7 processor, and an ATI RADEON HD4670 512MB graphics card. What can I do to get the same quality that I saw in the .MSWMM previews, but in a format that others can use, like a DVD?

Default Vista Supplemental Drivers Would Mean Loss Of Graphics Quality Compared To Using Up To Date Drivers On A XP OS

Oct 4, 2005

While being satisfied by the cool effects and new interface of Windows Vista Codename Longhorn, many of us testers are what you would call "gamers." The lot of us would like to know if gaming on the default Vista Supplemental drivers would mean loss of graphics quality compared to using up to date drivers on a XP OS. For example, I installed Vista and then installed my trusty game, Battlefield 2. I tried using the new nvidia Vista drivers but the game kept crashing when I start it up. So I reinstalled the Vista Supplemental drivers and it happened to work. Quite interesting. I am able to run the game on default vista drivers and not the nvidia vista drivers. Coming to conclusion, would using the vista drivers result in loss of quality and graphics compared to using up to date drivers on a XP system?  Or you can also rephrase it; Would gaming be better on the Vista Beta or XP? Does anyone know if SLI works on Vista?

Does Not Boot If I Add The WinTV Card (or The PCTV Card)

Mar 23, 2008

Since I have upgraded the PC to Vista, I cannot use anymore WinTV-HVR-1300 (PCI) (Same issue with PCTV Dual hybrid - PCI-Express). Vista simply hangs while booting, the last driver loaded is crcdisck.sys. If I remove the WinTV card Vista works perfectly. With WinXP all was working fine. I tried to remove all the cards from the PC... the issue happens when I insert the WinTV or the PCTV card... Of course I also tried to change some settings in the BIOS without success.

SD Card Is Now Read Only

Jun 26, 2009

I have been using an SD card in my laptop for portable storage for ~6 months. Suddenly, I have started getting an error message saying that "Disk is write protected." The tab on the SD card is in the unlock position. I have tried using the properties window to change it but their is no option to change it from Read Only or Change Permissions. If I click on a folder on the SD card and try to change it via the Properties Windows the window says that it is "Read Only" but when I uncheck "Read Only," it says I can't
because the disk is Read Only. And again I can't find any option to change
ownership or permissions.

SD Card Not Being Read

But then all of a sudden I went to download some pictures that I had taken afterwards and the computer doesn't recognize the card. When I unplug it from the reader it does the ejection sound but when I plug it in it gives an error sound (three small low grade beeps). I put the SD back in my camera and the pictures are still there. Why is Vista not recognizing the card all of a sudden?

Or should I go for something with a little more 'grunt'? The PC is used mainly for photo editing and burning video to DVD, very little gaming, attached are my specs.
