I lcik on send and may message does not get sent. I go to the Outbox and the message is still there. It never shows up in the "Sent" folder. I have tried several diffent ways to send it: using ALT S, going into Tools in the main menu, opening the message and going into "File" and clicking on "Send", etc. Ntoheing works. As a result I cannot respond to any messages - my Outbox keeps getting bigger and bigger.
View 5 RepliesI can't seem to access the Print Screen command function. I have followed the directions given in MS Help. They say the following: To print the ENTIRE SCREEN: click on PrtScrn on your keyboard. This captures and stores in the clipboard everything showing on your screen, including opened property menus and dialogues. If you then open Paint you can use the Paste function to see the captured image. To print just the ACTIVE WINDOW on the screen: Use Alt+PrtScrn... Copies only the ACTIVE window. So, you would get whatever window is open, neatly cut out already, on the clipboard ready to paste in to your favorite image app. When I click on PrtScrn or Alt + PrtScrn nothing happens. When I go into Clipboard and Paint, there is no image, and the "Paste" command is grayed out, so I can't even access it. What am I doing wrong? I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64x and MS Office Home and Student.

I am writing to this Forum in desperation because I cannot find any way to get in touch by email with Windows Live OneCare even though I am a paid subscriber. I have NOT had a good experience of MS tech support. After 18 months of endless problems with Windows VISTA Ultimate Edition V 6001 I now wish to reformat my computer and get RID of it altogether, replacing it with System 7 for which I have a serial number and a beta download from the recent Microsoft online download offer.
As VISTA seems to have eleminated DOS altogether and the old FDisk command doesn't work from a command line start, I have tried to reformat from my OEM Vista Ultimate Edition re-installation DVD which I am certain used to offer me reformat and partitioin delete as the first options but that no longer seems to offer me any reformat option at all and not only instists only on re-installing VISTA (which I no longer want) but leaves the old installation in a directory renamed "WindowsOld" which VISTA will then not allow me to delete....
Windows Mail Vista. When i go to reply to someone , the format has changed. I just lost the first command of "send" on the toolbar. Now the first bar says "file" and i have to drop that down to find send message.

I'm having trouble with the REN command with wild cards as used from the command prompt. View 4 Replies View RelatedI am unable to attach a photo to e-mail from Windows Explorer in Vista. I use MS Outlook as my default mail. For example, with a photo, I right-click, select "Send to....Email Recipient", select size, slect "Attach", it goes through "attaching"
the files but then nothing happens. A mail window does not open. I have set all my defaults to Outlook yet still nothing happens and not quite sure what to do.
The last (2) E-mails I was composing were lost when I hit: send. (No had not saved. Will begin). Message sid program stopped working-crashed.

I am starting a new thread since I have some additional information on this problem. After I open Windows Mail, the Send and Receive functions will work correctly until the following condition occurs: When I reply to or forward an email message in my Inbox, it goes into the Outbox. If I then store the original email into another folder before I press Send/Receive, neither Send nor Receive will work. The only solution after this happens is to shut down Windows Mail and restart it again.

I need to send pics in email size but when I right click and push send to mail recipient it asks what size (I choose the size) and then I click attach and it acts like its resizing the picture but then just disappears...it never gets attached. just goes away! View 9 Replies View Relatedthe thread title says it all: I'm looking for a lightweight bootable command prompt which supports ntfs drives and supports x64 command line tools. Something like Freedos x64 or command.com x64 (if they existed which unfortunately they don't).
So far, all I can do is to boot into Windows' own command shell, but this is far from being lightweight. Every Linux supports booting into a pure command line mode, so there must be something similar for Windows with x64 support. Basically, the recovery console would suffice if it allowed using external command line tools, but afaik this is not the case.
