I'm using Outlook 2002 in XP Home. There seems to be options to modify the fonts for the appointments, but no option I can find to change the default font for the list of tasks as they appear in the "Day Week/Month" view. Is there a way to change the size of that font?

I ran into the same problem a poster here did with being booted out when I signed on. I kept getting the blue screen indicating a stop error. I worked for hours with MS and believe it was an ordeal because in the end I diagnosed and fixed the problem which had to do with disk scanning. Since then my settings are different and I have had to work really hard but I can't seem to get the font and font size correctly in my emails PLUS they are all my messages are now BOLDED.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy daughter is traying to set acces to her job's Exchange Server using Outlook 2002 SP3. But had no success so she asked me to help, but I could not get it to work either. Her OS is Win XP Pro SP2.I go to Control Panel -Mail -Accounts- Email Accounts and click on to set a new account for Microsoft Exchange Server.In that panel I enter the name of the server.server. and her user name it asks to check the name and I click on and it brings up an error message thet it could not connect to the server that no connection could be established and that I need to connect to the internet. I know we are connected since it is a DSL connection she has. Also checked for More Settings but nothing in there indicates that I need additional info for a connection.I also tried to go through the HTTP set up and it to no avail. However if I just open the browser explorer and enter that HTTP address I can connect with no trouble at all to her logon page.

I just reformatted and was messing around with WindowBlinds for awhile so that may be a culprit, but even though I've now uninstalled it, when I am receiving mail in Outlook Express the messages come in large fonts, I mean bigger and darker than what you normally expect. Then when I hover over them or even click on then they go back to normal size. It's not that annoying, but peculiar. I've tried repairing Outlook Express the best I know how but nothing's changed. Is there a setting somewhere in OE6 that can change that or a registry fix?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an AT&T mail account and they recently paired with Yahoo on their homepage. My Outlook Express in Windows XP worked with my account fine for years until yesterday. I had to change the names of the servers to: pop.att.yahoo.com and smtp.att.yahoo.com. The port settings are the same 465 and 995. Also, my password is the same. The problem is when I try to receive or send mail, Outlook Express repeatedly asks me to enter my username and password for the servers. The password box is checked on the logon box that comes up repeatedly but not highlighted. What am I overlooking?

I was very sucessful,but now the problem I have is as follows: If I click on a existing or make a new folder, a copy will be placed on the desktop. I attempted to deletethem one by one, but this deletes the folder in OS 6. I made a second attempt to place all copies into a new file in an attempt to isolate, but thi too, deletes them from the OE 6.

At first I had the POP3 and SMTP settings wrong and when I fixed them I didn't realize I had both the web based email and Outlook Express open at the same time. Now, whenever she tries to open Outlook Express, all it does is hangs open with "not responding" in the title bar. I can't even access the file menu.
