Operating system Windows XP home SP2--Internet Explorer 6-Outlook express 6 New Problem! When I open e-mail (sent) attempting to move e-mails to( Delete) so I can delete them, I receive an Internet Explorer Script Error. There seems to be a seperate script error for each Sent e-mail with different info in the Line-through-url designations. Hitting yes/no eventually removes all the errors notifications but obviously something is wrong. You cannot move sent e-mails to delete until all the script error messages are deleted. The problem only occurs in the SENT area of Outlook Express 6.
When I click on the desktop O.E icon, it's suppose to open O.E. With mine, I get this message: "Error Deleting File or Folder-Cannot delete ntuser.dat: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again." I've never received this message before. What do I do to correct this?
This morning I tried to find an old email from last week I wanted to print out. Found it, copied it, attempted to paste and print it to word. Then something happened. All my subfolders I had disappeared and my folders rearranged. Now when I open the message I get: "Message could not be displayed Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again." My computer has plenty of disk and memory space. I have restarted many times and have done a system restore, and still receive the same message. I have a Compaq Presario 5014US, XP , I have run my spyware and virus checker and found nothing. If anyone knows why I receive this message and how I can clear it
I am having problems when I try to forward emails from Outlook Express.I can do three or four and then I get an error message saying "low memory".I have a fairly new computer running windows xp home and have hardly any programs on it. Nothing that is eating up all this memory. I have increased the virtural memory and that didn't help. When I get the error message I have to get out of Outlook and start it up again to even read the rest of my messages.I have deleted all the cookies and history. Doesn't help.
I'm running Outlook Express on Windows XP Professional. When I send an email the message is sent with an undisplayed warning and the message remains in the Outbox after it has been sent resulting in it being continually resent until I manually delete it from the Outbox. A copy of the message is not saved to the Sent Folder even though the option is checked.I have run Nortons Utilities - and other utilities - and cleaned up Windows Registry and other Windows Errors - to fix my problem (without success). Is my Outbox damaged? Do I have to restore Outlook Express?
Could someone help me with this issue please? A couple of days ago we received an email with this error: "Message has not been downloaded Outlook express has not yet downloaded this message To download this message: - Click Here - Press Space Outlook Express" The here is linked to this address: "athcmd:download" I clicked it, nothing.I press space, nothing. We cannot read the email, we cannot read the attachment. Also some do not even carry attachments, most are text.I go a little further and open the email, an error message is still there but now says to free some memory. So I do a disk clean-up, and check the hard drive and notice that I have more than enough memory. Tried to forward these to another machine but the forward and even reply buttons are blocked. Also i just noticed that from 3rd party it might be something such as spam mail/phishers but I'd like to assume that it is not. The addresses are from clients/friends and the subject of the emails are relative. And the weird thing is is that it started doing this from 9/17 all the way to 10/5 but everything before and after that time works fine.
Is there a way to filter out all incoming mail with the exception of names in my address book?I would like any other mail to be deleted immediately or not downloaded at all. If there is a Message Rule to use could you please tell me exactly how to word it?
I have posted before about this but under the heading Virus/spyware. My Outlook Express keeps opening a new message window all by itself. I can't figure out what is causing it to open. I'm not busy with anything when it does, it just opens by itself. I have done spyware scans and anti-virus scans till it came out my ears. One of the moderators here have helped me with an HiJack This log and cleaned all the baddies out.

Using Windows XP Home and Outlook Express I have thousands of messages in OE in various folders that I would like to save in my gmail folders (Google mail acct). Is there anyway I can tranfer a whole folder of messages to my gmail address. Or if not an entire folder at least 20 or so messages at a time?
I recently tried to send my daughter a 22 Meg video file by sending it as an attachment to a message in Outlook Express. Now every time I go to OE it is trying to send this message but never succeeds. I just want to cancel sending the message but can't find out how to do.
i am trying to configure my outlook express account but all I get are errors.i am linking it to aol and have followed the step by step process provided but still recieved the following error. The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'DJP136@aol.com'. Subject '', Account: 'home', Server: 'smtp.aol.com.', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '556 CLIENT AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED. USE ESMTP EHLO AND AUTH.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 556, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
I am running IE 6 .I can get online fine but when I click send/receive messages I get this error:An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Mail', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x80004005..I was on the phone with ATT tech support last night and they led me to knowledgebase for this error. I did exactly what it said.NOTHING.Kept looking and found where I was supposed to look for .mbx and rename .mbx old. I did that. all my inbox messages are gone. I closed Email and reopened. I am still getting the error message. When I search for .mbx in hidden files/folders there is no file. I went back to a sys restore to Wednesday, that also didn't work. is there any way to repair the inbox?

When I try to send mail from OLEx I get this msg The host 'mail.telesat.com.co' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: '.telesat.com.co', server: 'mail.telesat.com.co', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D" I havechecked several times and the smtp address is correct and I can receive mail OK. I think the problem started when I tried to save "sent" mail to my gmail account.
Would have posted this in the E-mail forum but everytime that I tried to make a new post, the system would re-direct me to the sign in page (even though I was signed in) so I never got to make a new post in that forum. I have been getting this error message for some time when OE tries to 'compact' my mail files after I close OE. There is no other program in use when this happens.
Every time I exit OE I get this error on my screen:msmsgs.exe - Application Error..The instruction at "0x00e1b2c6" referenced memory at "0x10004234". The memory could not be "read".Click OK to terminate the program..Then I have to click OK twice to get this to go.
I keep getting this error when I open up my outlook express:Internet Explorer Script Error! An error has occured in the script on this page.I think that I started having this problem after I started using adaware to combat spyware and maybe I accidently deleted something. I am not sure. Is there any easy fix to this problem instead of reformatting my hard drive? I tried uninstalling outlook express and reinstalling, but I still get the same error.
I have No outlook express when I try to use it I get "Outlook Express could not be started Because MSOE.Dll Could not be loaded " I went on the windows web site they say remove and re install under add/remove windows components. I went there and its just not listed. I even tried re installing windows, still not there. The kicker is it used to work fine.
Windows XP totally up to date. I think. When I open Outlook Express {email} I keep getting messages that "Outlook Express has encountered a problem and needs to close".....and it does close when I click on send error report. At times when it does work for awhile, when I click to delete a email, that email won't show as deleted from inbox, but when I then go to the deleted folder it shows up there....checking back at the inbox the email is now gone from the inbox.
Get an Internet Explorer Script Error when I open Outlook Express. It reads: An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line 229, Char 1, Error: Object doesn't support this property or method. Code:0.
When I try to send or receive mail in Outlook Express 6, I get an error message 0x800CCC0D along with socket error 11004. It's telling me the host cannot be found, to check that the server name is entered correctly. This began immediately after I clicked the stop button while I was downloading mail and then clicked on send/receive a minute later. My connection to the internet is fine. I checked all the vital information, POP3, SMTP, my password, everything. I removed all the information from my account and reinstalled it, still the same error!

After installing Windows XP Home it disabled my Outlook & Outlook Express. When I try to open either program, a message states that it is an out-of-date version, then the windows installer comes up, then an error saying it cannot find 'omint.dll' cannot be found. I have tried to reinstall Outlook from XP, then from Office 2003 disks (original and a second copy with service packs), but I cannot get installer to install the programs
