I've been having some issues with the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO_ZERO (0x000000d1) as well as IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0x0000000A)and STOP: 0x1000008e and 0x1000007f.I'm crashing only while playing games. The crashes seem to occur more often if I'm playing a game while running something else such as streaming a podcast. The crashes are also occuring with greater frequency with each day that passes. I reformatted after these started happening, and i replaced my RAM as well, as that seemed the most likely culprit.
I built a pc back in Apr 2005 and it has been a nightmare from the 1st day. Ive reformatted twice only to encounter the same problems. BLUE SCREEN CRASHES AND STOP ERRORS. This occurs during every single task I attempt. I am not even able to run a virus scan without it crashing. There are a few yellow ?? in the system device menu box thingy but the drivers wont install. It seems that every blue screen crash has a different code and always end with system dump.
I was able to use ad-aware SE to remove the spyware garbage but it didnt help. I did a chkdsk /f and there were many, many bad sectors on the hard drive a majority of them are system32/dll (upside down LL) Cache dll (again upside down LL)files, I ran the scan several times and each time many many bad sectors were found from what I can tell new bad sectors with each scan. What does this mean.
No matter what program I try to use about 5 minutes into it the pc will blue screen crash. It doesnt matter what its is looking at the system device manager, trying to update drivers. I everything I do CRASHES.I cant even get my important data off of the pc & onto a cd without it crashing. I dont know what to do. I can download something on a different pc test to ensure its working right then put it on this pc and I get a message saying that some file is corrupt or it will crash. It doesnt matter what it is a few minutes into it the system crashes. Even when try to run software of the mobo cd still crashes I tested the memory and 1 test program says it passed and another test program says it failed.
My mom was on my computer this afternoon and there was a power surge. When the power came back on, the computer would not come back on. When I booted my computer up this evening, everything was fine until midway into the startup sequence and I closed Yahoo! Messenger. Right after I did that I got the BSOD (BAD_POOL_HEADER) and the Stop errors at 0x00000019, (0x00000020, 0xE2B9E8F0, 0xE2B9E918, 0x0C050801). After restart, I tried to load HJT and I got an Explorer.EXE Application Error: The instruction at 0x7c91142e referenced memory at 0x00650072. The memory could not be read.
I was trying to enable my internet in my Network Connections because it was disabled but when i enabled it, it crashed and gave me a blue screen with physical memory dump STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFEFD7018, 0x00000000, 0xFEFD7018, 0x0000000)
ive restarted my computer and attempted to do it several times but it still has that error
Hello my name is Jason and this is my first post here hoping to get my problems fixed. I would like to consider myself pretty PC savoy but, this is boggling me beyond no end. I can't fix it. I have done tons of diagnosing/attempted fixing but to no avail. Now to the problems... Keep in mind this is after a fresh install of XP MCE SP3 Multiple BSOD. multiple files referred to as the problematic/corrupted file in seperate BSOD. Restart computer after BSOD and I receive "windows has recovered from a serious system error". I have done almost everything i could think of (memtest, registry mechanic, system defrag, made sure all drivers are up to date, fixed all "unknown devices", virus scans, switched HD's thinking it might have been bad sectors, switched from AGP to PCI video and back to AGP because of a particular file issue, etc.) What I am willing to do to try to resolve this issue: Anything..... I have reformatted my HD and reinstalled the OS and still getting the same problems. I have no money to try to get new hardware. If you think you can help please post a few things you would like me to do. I have a current fresh minidump if that helps just need to know how to attach it because i did not see a place to attach files at. I have read a few things from here where peoples problems have been solved. I hope i have one of those stories to tell how the people here have fixed my problem. Edit: Forgot the system specs lol. I need some links to some sites that will provide information and also fixes for blue screen errors in Win NT/2000/XP. I will be using them on my website, which in turn will be used at my workplace. Thanks for any help that you can offer.
If someone could help this would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me CRAZY! Now the situation is that I get a BSOD Memory dump error then the comptuer restarts.. Now my comptuer is a Compaq B3800 laptop and I re installed the software however to no avail . It seems the computer only crashes at home and when at work or at a friends house it neve crashes. Could this be the wireless router?
I get this error. Blue screen and all.I tried different things that it says to try.Like do a scan disk. But It will not let me load a A:disk or CD I make them the first boot but. Bypasses it right to the HD and then the blue screen with those errors.
When I start up, either when windows xp is loading, login screen, or right after i enter the password and press enter, a blue screen comes up.BAD_POOL_HEADER with all the text saying like check for viruses, but other stuff sometimes comes up like system files (.sys extensions) in the place of BAD_POOL_HEADER, which is right under the first line in the blue screen.
I have been gettting lots of crashes also Blue screens Here are some of the Errors : Nv4_Disp.Dll, Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal, And Win32K Sys I am not to sure what to do here I only know afew things about computers I have been told to reformat And that will take all my errors away
When booting PC up, there is a problem with URLMON.DLL, i took the harddrive out and copied over the file, and was given information that some other DLL files were damaged also, i painstakingly copied the files over, untill it booted up, ran all the scans I could - MS AntiSpy, Adaware, Norton AV, and Norton WinDoctor, Spy Subtract. Rebooted the computer and the First URLMON.DLL error message came up and would not allow me back into windows.
I recently built a new computer and it has been just an incredible load of troubles ever since the first boot up. I first installed Windows 2000 so I can actually boot up my computer then upgraded to Windows XP SP2. After this I had a messload of trouble getting errors during the XP installation which I believe were various fonts. Skipping over this the installation was successful and I was enjoying Windows XP. Now I did the automatic updates that is recommanded and let then download and install. Once they installed and the system rebooted, I never got to enjoy my computer.
After the restart the computer would hang where the log in screen should be then restart and do this over and over again. I thought this was an installation problem so I reinstalled 2000 so I could just reformat and fix the problem. Now my computer is rejecting every time I try to reformat and reinstall 2000 giving me various blue screen fatal errors and errors during the Windows 2000 setup preventing the installation from going any further..............
the computer had the problem of restarting itself over and over. he finally bought another one and gave me the problem one to try and fix. i got the blue error messages to pop up of course the microsoft support page had no info so here i am. if i'm in the wrong forum i apologize and can someone point me to the right one. anyway onto the messages i got so far.
we have reinstalled windows xp and drivers and nothing has worked. we also had a computer guy look at it and he said it was the harddrive. that was replaced with a new one and a reinstall of xp and drivers was done. and of course no help. i have a feeling from reading about errors that are similar to the ones i'm getting that i will need to check all the hardware by disconnecting and reconnecting. i'm hoping this is a software problem but that would be too easy for me.
When I start the computer, it asks if for the choice of Safe Mode, w/ Networking, w/Command Prompt or Normally.
I've tried them all and if I try it normally, it won't get past the XP loading screen. It's loading and then it flashes a blue screen for a second and then restarts the computer again.
I tried pressing F8 at boot and selected 'Disable automatic restart on system failure' and this is what I get
I even tried using this http://forums.techguy.org/6669592-post28.html to get to chkdsk At boot, F12, chose CD/DVD, but still nothing, I even tried disabling boot from +HDD, FDD and LAN from the bios setup menu to see if it works and this is what I got, it just keeps going on and on unless I enable boot from +HDD
I frequently get a blue screen when using my computer, often when playing a high memory game (specifically WoW) and running other programs such as ventrilo. Occasionally, it says kernal memory dump...etc. But usually its just a blank blue screen. When I load windows, pressing delete does not enter me into setup mode, and my windows CD will not load up on restart either. I tried to uninstall my hard drive driver, and it worked, and it seems to have reloaded on restart I thought it might be corrupt but now whenever I go into device manager, it asks me if I want to restart to enable these changes, even though I havent changed everything.
I have seen a similar problem posted previously on this forum. But after reading it i think this is a different problem, so, here goes: I recently bought a new graphic card: Radeon all-in-wonder x1800xl. Installed it on a clean system (did a reformat before i installed). The problem occurs after usually 30-60 minutes of gaming (so far with oblivion, black & white 2). The game freezes for about 30 sec and then goes into blue-screen mode.
The message is as follows: Kernel-Data-inpage-error stop error screen then there are a lot of numbers etc. I have sometimes noticed a slight change in fan noise prior to freeze (speeding up) After reebot everything's back to normal.........
I will try to be as specific about my problem in general.I am using a Compaq laptop, using Windows XP. I don't know much more than that, but I can search for additional information regarding specs and stuff. It all started one day when I was browsing the internet using the latest version of Firefox. I turned up my volume and the blue screen of death appeared (advising me to seek tech support of sorts).I restarted, and yet again touching the volume yielded the blue screen of death. I tried several, possibly 6 times, and the only thing causing the blue screen of death is altering the volume in any way, including touching the volume buttons, adjusting volume in the volume control and adjusting the wave settings in volume control.
So I ran Spyware Doctor. I do pay the full 40 bucks a year for this wonderful program, and it detected a bunch of freaky looking things. Like adaware, something called virtumonde, and all these high threat viruses and adware, but it wiped them clean. I ran it again, it found 3 more standard viruses that it didn't name, cleaned them, ran SWD again and nothing appeared, so I assume now my computer is free from whatever was messing with me.The volume problem still persists though, and also at random times the blue screen of death will appear (I'm praying now it won't as I type all this or I'll cry). Then another problem occurred. When I try to open a file of sorts, that pesky message appears- windows explorer has an error of some sort, do you want to close it or ignore it?or something to that extent, so I can't view any sort of files now. I am running the computer in safe mode (which still exhibits the risk of a blue screen attack, but I can view the folders properly). Somethings up, what can I do to fix this? Any suggestions? I will try to answer any thing I might have left out.
I occasionally get a stop message and blue screen. It happens randomly, sometimes I am just on my desktop with no programs running. Here are some details:
STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000008, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF3C70140) atinyvxx.sys - Address F3C70140 base at F3C52000, Date Stamp 41f70216
i installed a new printer hp laserjet 4015 from the installation cd. previously 2015 version was installed. the installation went ok and the printing was also ok. system was shutdown normally. the next work day the system rebooted after the login was entered. this was solved by choosing 'last know good configuration' option of startup. however on re starting the same issued erupts. the system xp sp2 boots only when the last know good config option is chosen. the blue screen when opted for shows this error stop: 0x00000024 (0x001902fe, 0xf7a76854, 0xf7a76650, 0xa2c83692)
I have borrowed a school computer for the summer, it runs XP. Today, when I booted it up, it displayed a blue screen with a stop message. "c0000135 <unable to locate component> winsrv was not found. I have spent the afternoon searching for a way to fix this, but all the windows help sites require you to download stuff, and since I can't get the OS to actually turn on, I obviously can't log on to a website.
I'm working on an HP 530 and when I boot up, it blue screens with a stop code. The code is 0x0000007B So far, I have attempted F8 w/o success, tested and swapped the RAM, and run checks on the Hard Disk.G-Parted can see and partition the Hard disk , but Windows Repair disk can't see the Hard Disk.I have re-imaged this unit and it completed successfully, but when I rebooted, it BSOD'd again. There is nothing in the BIOS to change it to IDE from SATA and the self-test is reporting no errors.
The Technical Information is this: *** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x00000000, 0xF2F22A50, 0x00000000) I'm getting tired of this happening every day.
Four or five months ago I installed a new HD in my Dell Inpiron 700m laptop. I used Acronis True Image, as I've done previously with my Latitude. Initially, I had some trouble, because apparantly one or two drivers were missing. I found a discussion about this online and ran through the steps to fix the problem and everything seemed fine. A couple days after the installation I received the blue stop error screen for the first time. Restarted the computer and hadn't had it appear again until last week. The other night, it was coming up every five minutes, shutting down the computer.
System automatically restarts, if i disable restarts.Blue screen appears and informing to check for harddisk errors by run-chkdsk /f.But still i cannot clear my problem because check disk is not working when system restarts.
well i just installed trial version of webroot spysweeper and then i go on to TSG then my computer goes all blue and it says things about dumping files on disk or something
I plugged my blackeberry into my computer - it has a new battery, though I don't know why that made a difference - and my computer crashed immediately. After the intel screen it brought me to a black screen with choice to reboot in safe mode, etc. No matter what option I chose, I was unsuccessful - just kept coming back to that screen. After troubleshooting I found my way to the blue screen with the error message stop: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x8AFFA800, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000) and that I should disable virus protection etc. I inserted my xp disc but don't know how to get the system to boot from that.
i shut down while pc was running chkdsk (yes, I now know how stupid that was). I rebooted and that brought me to the blue screen that I have not been able to get past yet. Message reads: stop:0x00000024(0x00190203, 0x83160AB0, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000) I was able to change setup to get it to reboot from the cd drive and used the XP Diagnostics CD to run diagnostics. I ran the diagnostics for blue screen and hard drive errors - all tests passed. (This took several hours). I then tried to reboot from hard drive and got the same blue screen again. i then put in the Windows XP startup disk and came to the recovery console. Here I get a prompt I've never seen before: 1:J:minint
I got a blue screen that gave me the following message: Stop: ox000000F4-(ox00000003-ox899F3A50, ox899F3BC4, ox805D1142) running XP Professional with SP 2
Im getting a BSOD stop message that I cant seem to find a fix for on windows xp. Ive tried running in safe mode and restoring, but its not working. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
