I have been a member of Demonoid for several months and I have never had a warning or any problems. I use the site for Books only. However, 4 days ago, out of the blue, I started getting error, Demonoid admin/support does not believe in answering emails. They say all emails will be ignored if topic is addressed in FAQ or Forum section.They do not allow for the fact that sometimes you cannot access even those sites.
View 3 RepliesWebsite Certificate Errors I just put together (rebuilt) my PC and installed XP Pro without any problems. Did a huge 100+ update via windows update and now whenever I visit secure websites like ebay, paypal or windows live, I get taken to a page advising 'There is a problem with this sites certificate'. I then have to click a link to 'continue anyway'I am reposting this question from a previous post that expired. Seems no one responded to it then. If it is not a question for this forum would you all at least let me know this sos I can look else where.

It only happens on both Cox Webmail and Bank Of America online banking, what do you make of this and how do I fix this problem? The other message just goes away (Could not start GPCIDrv driver). It seems to be tied to the Gigabyte driver. The other thing that I have noticed is that Wall Watcher doesn't log anything anymore.

View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen I start the computer, I get a screen freeze and have to press Ctrl,Alt,Del once before any programs will startup. A lot of probs with internet connection and slowness while surfing as well as a lot of pop up ads in my face.
There are system boxes coming up with registry and dll errors and the whole system seems SLOW.
The family computer is playing up and to the best of my knowledge the computer in question just simply suddenly stopped working as it should. I am unable to get the 'default' welcome screen upon start up and am getting the logon box where you type in a username and passworld. I know how to get rid of this, user accounts>enable welcome screen - but it will not solve the problem.This is just the start of the problems. I get a whole host of errors which popup one after another.

I bought a new system with XP OS. First time it is directly login into admin account.I created 2 more users on this system and created password for admin user.But when I switch on computer, It directly login into Admin user.Once I log off it is coming welcome screen and asking selecting user and Password.

View 18 Replies View RelatedWhat happened is I just installed a new Hard Drive and a fresh windows install (XP Pro with Service pack 3). After all was installed it logged into my account (Me) which was my account with Administrator privileges. I did a series of windows updates now when I turn my computer on it goes straight to the Administrator account and not my account (me). So I have to log off or switch accounts from Admin to Me. I just want it to login to Me all the time. So I am not smart enough to figure it out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Win XP sp2 and I usually leave my computer on 24/7. This morning I tried to open a file but it never opened. I went into the task manager to see if its even processing and it was there but the ccapp was taking all the cpu. So i tried to shutdown and restart. After that windows boots up to the login screen just fine but when i click on my account it take a long time to show my wallpaper. I can pull up task manager and the cpu isnt being used. the hdd is only accessed in little bursts. After a while the start menu pops up. any keyboard commands like to bring up win explorer takes a long time and all the commands pop up in a big burp of of command executions. I'm trying to reach system restore but cant. I'm not sure how to get into safemode with this system because just after post when f8 is usually used to bring up the menu the system opens a boot drive selection screen. During the RAM tests during post theres text stating press del to enter bios and f8 to enter boot drive selection so im not sure how to get to safemode now.

But last night I could and I thought the server was down(it goes down sometimes). So I went on windows messenger, and people who play the game says it was working. So now I know its only me. It is a video site where I am able to see the videos I can choose from, but as soon as I try to log on, I get the error. I was using IE 8, but switched to 7 because I thought that was my problem. View 3 Replies View RelatedThere is a website I use at work that is a State Government database. The site will start to load but it stops. On the left side would be a menu that would load normally that is Java. It does not load so the database is unavailable. The site tells you to disable pop up blockers which i have. I had norton on the computer a while back and the only way i could get into this website then was to disable Norton. This current problem started when I loaded the AOL Security. Even with AOL security and all firewalls disabled still can not access the site. So i removed AOL security and loaded AVG and Zone Alarm in its place. Still can not get into the site with those disabled.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to access www.bankofamerica.com. Seems all other website are fine. I know it is working because I can access it through my laptop that is connected through the same router and modem. Here is how my network is set up:
-I have DSL with a static IP (I've tried using from the 5 available and none work).
-For a router I use a Sonicwall TZ 170 that is assigned one of the static IP's from the 5 available.
-I use a Linksys WRt54G wireless router as a wireless access point with DHCP turned off (my desktop is connected straight to the Sonicwall).
The only glimmer of light that I have seen is Anonymizer (www.anonymizer.com). I downloaded the trial and when it is running I can access www.bankofamerica.com. When I check my IP at www.ipchicken.com it reports another IP other than my static IP which is what the Anonymizer does, but I don't understand why I would be able to access the site. My static IP can't have been blocked because I can access the BoA site using the laptop and the static IP.
I try to go to Roadrunner's speed test and all I get is Red Xs. My main PC gets the site correctly. This started when I upgraded to ZA Ver. 6, so I uninstalled V 6 and went abck to ver. 5. It appears that all settings in ZA are the same for both PCs but only one shows the site properly.?

However, tonight I am unable to do so on my desktop computer. I keep getting page not found. I also have a laptop and the site does show up there. My server is AOL and I have a Windows XP computer. My gut tells me when my desktop updated, perhaps my work site became blocked somehow by the firewall? I have no idea how to ublock it if that is the case.

When I get onto the Microsoft website and try to add updates manualy, the site checks out my PC system to see what os system im running (i presume), then I get 2 options, 1 to install custom updates and 1 for download priority. If I click on either I get a bar with moving green dots in telling me itschecking for latest updates on my computer. It does not stop! And when I press the Back link or close it just about freezes my whole pc, even Ctrl, Alt & delete does not work

I haven't done it in a while and I don't think I changed any settings. I used to be able to do it and now nothing shows up on my email when I try to paste. I also have Word and the picture doesn't come up either, just an empty box.
