It seems in Windows 7, you can only choose arabic 101 without digits, no matter which country you choose, so there's no way for me to type the hindi digits like

Oct 29, 2009I just installed Windows 7 Professional yesterday and after enabling Arabic as a second language it only lets me type the characters "عربية" and not the letters "1234" I got it setup so it does allow typing of the numbers in Arabic in office as well, but if i copy it into another program such as firefox or IE, they turn back into English numbers.

Some web addresses are case sensitive.' comes up.As well as this, facebook chat does not work from time to time and simply shows a triangle ! sign instead. I've tried to look everywhere to resolve this but nobody seems to have the same issue.

Dec 30, 2011I have a new HP pavilion pc with windows 7. I set up (I think) Windows Live Mail and I do receive e-mails. The problem is when I go to Windows Live Mail, I get a screen that distorts my background and the email headers are a bright blue with white letters that I can't read. when I x-out of mail the screen goes black and then restores to the normal background.

Jan 1, 2010I woke this morning to find an event for today 1-1-2010 called "Matt Work's birthday" (not Matt's work birthday) as if the guy was named Matt Work.
I cannot delete it (with conventional means) and I didn't place it there. I have a US holiday calendar running in the calendar, but this is one called birthday calendar. It's the only recurring day each year.
It's recurring event but shows no info and will not let me edit it or delete it.
What the heck is going on here? What's the best way to delete it. I can't find it in appdata-local-windows-live mail-calendars.
Browsers Can't Load Profile Settings On Main Windows Profile
Oct 8, 2011so I was on my desktop main account and then let my dad log on to a guest account I recently created for him since his laptop isn't working, then when I came back I logged onto my profile I couldn't open any browser, in the case of firefox this came up (firefox can't load host something, missing profile) and chrome (your preferences cannot be read)
then I couln't open some shorcuts (windows cannot find the target. and my utorrent setting reset as well, like if I had never used it, BUT the guest account works perfectly.
I'm able to open firefox with open as administrator but all addons, bookmarks are gone, I can't open the document, picture, and music links on the start menu either

I load firefox, same issue. I load Crome, it worked for 1 day then same issue. It used to login in fine last week. It logs in fine on my 2 other PCs and my Kindlefire.I have checked for viruses with Avast and A-Malware Bytes in safe mode - nothing. These 2 pick up 98% of stuff. Personally I dont think its a virusn IE9 - Deleted browsing history, cookies, temp internet files, everything under the Geneeral/Browsing History section. Jul 9, 2012Originally I had all my data files in drive D and only programs in drive C. Somehow my old user profile got corrupted and the Backgound wall paper is not working properly. So I created a new admin profile to fix it but now I have a mess.After I created a new admin profile and moved the old users folder/files to the new user , I decided to delete the old profile after everything seems to be working properly . When deleting the old profile I elected to save old user files to my desktop ( fortunately) . I now have a very fragmented system . Some of the folder/files are still under my old username in D drive, nothing in my new user name in D drive plus almost all of the folder/files from the old user ( in drive D) are now in a folder on the desktop where windows elected to place them when I elected to save the folders/files. I really need all the old user folders.I would like to have the Data in either under my old or new username in Drive D instead of fragmented all over the place. I realize I ended up in this situation because I didnt understand fully what windows will do when creating and deleting user profiles.

Apr 9, 2012i have an intel i5 2400 cpu, combined with 4gb ddr3 memory. mobo is dh67bl - revision 3. no gpu installed.power supply is via corsair vx450.problem i been facing:
1) bsod saying that a clock interrupt wasnt recd. [url]
2) bsod saying: page fault in non paging area. couldnt grab a screenshot for this.
3) display randomly goes off for a split second and reappears.. but the color of the panes go blue (i havent chosen blue. my setting is for clear pane.)[url] this error solves itself after random number of hours/mins
4) display vanishes for a split second and reappears, and a small balloon at the bottom right corner prompts that the display driver had stopped working.
5) system plain hangs/stops responding. randomly happens.. but more so while on Internet, or after hrs of it idling, i come back to the comp and try to scroll the content onscreen.sometime it revives from the stuck state as if nothing happened, sometimes i have to give it a cold boot.
6) while reading forums with blue bands.. the blue bands kinda form blurry bars which stretch till the end of the screen. i tried to grab a screenshot but the screenshots were clean. the bands moved as i dragged the image about.
7) also, my comp's display went off one day and within a second came back with a blue-ish hue. it restored itself but again has gone back to blue-ish.
other relevant information:
windows 7 x64
no other os resides/installed on system
full retail version
os was installed in july.

Nov 17, 2012when i try to create a new user profile ~ with or without a password, it shows up on the main login page, but when i click on it to open, the message "UserProfileService_service failed the logon_user profile cannot be loaded". i have searched microsoft support with little solutions listed. and the ones that are listed seem too technical for me to be trying on my own. there are many posts there with this problem, but they all seem to be several years old.
i am using windows 7. i have never been able to create any accounts other than my administrator account & the one account i use for all my general computer use. i have been using norton 360 with no problems. i have resorted to just using any "log in/log out' links on all the sites my husband wants to use.i am really not all that confident doing anything super technical to fix this, since i don't have a real understanding of different extensions or types of files. i am afraid i could really mess everything up really bad. but, it would just be SO MUCH EASIER & FASTER if i had my account & my husband had his own account.

When she enters the password she gets the following message: "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded".
