Unable To Install Windows 7 Home Premium?
May 7, 2011All i get is vertical lines on the screen which are multicoloured. It tries to boot the cd but then seems to freeze.Could this be a hardware failure?

Windows 7 Home Premium Monitor Unable To Handle Resolution On Install
Aug 10, 2012just installed onto a new machine windows7 home premium the monitor reports the vga signal as out of range (ie the resolution is too high) i have tried leaving the monitor disconnected until the machine has been on for 10 mins( same result) i have tried to get it into safe mode and it says "setup cannot continue in safe mode computer will restart now" so basically I am stuck I have gone into cmos on the mother board and reduced the on boardgraphics memmory to 64mb in an attempt to drop the resolution I do not have any other monitors available (within ten miles)?

Aug 20, 2012My old computer crashed and I'm now on a new PC with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I installed the latest iTunes successfully, but found that my iPhone 4 is now not syncing with it. It can detect the phone, but it's not adding or deleting anything - apps, music or photos. I used to be able to select a Photo Folder to sync from the PC hard drive, but now it no longer works. It, however, works well with my notebook which is running on Win Vista.
There is no error message, the sync and backup apparently goes on only for a few seconds, and then iTunes says it is searching for which apps to install but nothing changes. Even when I've clicked Apply.
I've also tried closing iTunes and I've rebooted the phone but no dice. I've also uninstalled iTunes to reinstall. Doesn't work either. And yes, I installed with the 64-bit installer.

Jun 17, 2011Okay so I bought a new motherboard and CPU, installed it and turned the computer on, then the windows 7 loads for about 5 seconds then flashes the blue screen 4 half a sec. I already know that I need to reinstall windows 7 again, but I have 2 issues. First one is I have windows7 ultimate, and if i buy windows7 home premium will I be able to do a clean install? Second question is will the install even work on my hard disk drive? I dont want to buy it and not have it load or work properly.

Aug 14, 2012I am having a problem. The OS(Windows 7 x64) finishes installing but when it finishes it boots up again like normal then flashes a quick blue screen error message. I have tried doing what the comments told you to do except for downloading the ISO and burning it to a disk. I just get the same error. I have researched this processor and it turns out it has been known to be VERY dodgy with Windows 7 64-bit.

I will make the recovery copies of the 64 bit OS first, and then hopefully upgrade to the 32 bit Professional. Things are "tight", and hopefully will not have to purchase a full version of Professional.
