I need to send a email encrypted for a person. I have to send to her my public key and my secret password?I encrypts and signs my message with my private key and my passwordMy password is needed only to encrypted and sign? Or her is needed to decrypt too?I read many tutorials about GPG and PGP but I don't understand how works the private and public encryption key.
View 4 RepliesThe husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner.They both use the same computer.hen the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it.Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly.His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)

I am using Win 7 and Win Live Mail. I have scanned an article with my Cannon Pixma scanner/printer and it is saved in the form of jpeg images. I then attached it to an email and made four attempts to send it, but each time I was then confronted with the following message.Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

Instead of typing out a long email, I would like to 'say' it, then attach it to an email. Another route would be to record what I have to say and send an email with a link to the audio. This will help with upload/download of the emails. I know I could just use 'sound recorder' or Audacity, then attach it to my email, but I need something less 'techy' for a member of staff that is just a point and click type of person.

I've seen earlier posts about this quirk that MS should have never let out of the barn. I've found some "solutions" on these forums but when I go to change settings in the default menus, it doesn't "save".
I'm referring to changing default in INT Explorer. Some posters refer to IE8 but mine only says Internet Explorer. My computer guy also has me set up for Google with Google toolbar which comes up when I select the Internet Icon. I would rather have the good old Internet Explorer page come up and type Google into the address bar as I need it vs. Google everything.

ALSO, for some reason after hopping around on websites or Internet, I can't open my Outlook Express to check email. The Icon just kind of "glows" when I click on it and there is no right click options other than to "unpin" it from the menu bar.
I have to restart/reboot to be able to get back into Outlook to get my email again.
I have been unable to forward or send emails for several days. I can receive and that's it.
The only error message I receive is "A problem has occurred, please try again".
That's it.
Suddenly I cannot send or receive mail with Outlook or Live Mail.
Account seetings are ok.My laptop has the same settings
and no problems.

Have Zonealarm and NOD32. Disabling does not help.
I installed Win 7 yesterday and at first I could send and receive.
I'm using IE8 and Windows live mail both set as default apps. I'm running ultimate 64 bit. Here's the thing: I press "alt" key to bring up file menu. Under file I choose "Send". The "send link by email" and "send page by email" are greyed out. IE8 is set to my default browser and Windows live mail is set as default for my mail client. This occurs on both the 32 and 64 bit browser..

" What I get is a message box with the following, "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action." So when I go to defaults program control there are email programs listed. View 4 Replies View RelatedEverything has been working great but I have one problem that I have been unable to solve. I cannot send email (windows Live) from MS Office 2007. After resetting the defaults 50 times and reinstalling almost everything, I was able to get IE explorer 8 to recognize live mail as the default and email links etc. When I hit send in office it thinks Mail has not been installed but it does open the mail. Then It gives me an error about Ms exchange and then No mail installed. To add to the woes I cannot make a new post so i must feed off a Thread and hope someone will notice this.
