I'm not a big Internet Explorer user therefore I must have deleted IE off my computer somehow. I want to install version 9 BETA but it comes up with a message saying I already have a more recent version on my PC. How do I just install IE 9 ? Without this issue?
How can I remove one of the previous locations from the menu that appears when I click on the downward black arrow in the top windows of the Windows Explorer?

Windows Explorer ( not internet Explorer) starts up when I turn on my computer ( without my request). This just started to occur yesterday. It must be in some startup menu . Where do I look for this to remove it ?
I am having all kinds of issues with IE9. Websites wont open, or sites with ID and passwords wont open. The down loader for Technet wont install. Just many issues. Is there a way to complete remove IE9 so there is nothing Windows can store for reinstall, so I can then reinstall IE9 to see if that fixes my issues?
I have been having problems with my new computer running Win7 Ultimate and have had to do an upgrade install. Now IE8 and Incredimail are unable to connect to the internet although Norton, Windows, System Mechanic, etc.,can all download updates
I just reinstalled Win7 32bit from my Dell system restore. I can ping other computers on my system and they can ping me. My other computers can access the internet. I am hooked to my network both by hard wire and by wireless as before. I am at a lose as to what to look at to correct this problem.
I re-installed my copy of windows 7 Home Premium, went to HP's website and installed the drivers I thought were needed. My network controller still displays the little yellow triangle. Wireless doesn't work at all, and wired just says "internet unavailable" (something along those lines) and has the yellow triangle next to it. I tried re-installing the network controller drivers but it seems they are installed because it just asks if I would like to uninstall or repair. Heres the page I downloaded drivers from. All the links seem to take me to the same drivers, I believe my model is HP ENVY 14t-1000. Tried downloading the drivers for HP ENVY 14t-1000 CTO Notebook PC, and HP ENVY 14-1000xx Notebook PC so far no luck.
What my plan is, is to remove Desktop from the Navigation Pane maybe using a Registry Hack but I think if it did, it would remove the others too since they expand from Desktop. I never use Desktop from Navigation Pane and just find it to be a nuisance to always have it collapsed and just remove it instead. I have already removed Favourites and if I can get Desktop to be removed I will remove the Homegroup and Network from that too using Brink's already made Tutorials.
Currently I am sitting in front of a Windows 7 (Home) where the WinExplorer shows at the bottom an additional bar for each fodler/file.Its NOt the status bar but a second one.How do I disable/hide it permanently ?
In Windows Explorer, Detail View, is there a way to remove/disable the additional columns? (ie: Track, Artist, length, etc) I'm a simple person, and only want the main columns displayed, (Size, Type, Date) and Windows 7 seems to ignore me when i change the views. Even the "Reset All", and "Apply to All" seem to be ignored after a day later. In XP your could remove them from RegEdit under HKCRSystemFileAssociations and deleting the "Audio", "Video", and "Images" keys, and Explorer would 'forget' how to handle them, and details view would remain the same, but Windows 7 doesn't seem to respond to this either.
Can any tell me how to remove Win 7 Inernet Security scamware from my computer? When I go to Control panel> programs and features Win 7 Internt Security is not listed, so I can't uninstall it.
Where in the world is IE hiding? It doesn't show up under "Programs." When I search for it, up come sub-titles.I allowed Windows Updates to install IE 9 just a couple days ago. Is this the problem?
I run a comp with vista on but my wife as windows 7 she likes to do jigsaws to relax but when she goes to her favourit site only the adds come on the rest is blank. I am using Internet Modem USB Stick with my computer. My computer is Windows 7 Professional. I have a problem with removing the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer. When I insert the Internet Modem USB Stick into my computer and then I wish to remove it, I really can't do so. I, however, can remove the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer easily in Windows XP.I think it will reduce my Internet Modem USB Stick Lifetime and there probably should effect my computer lifetime if I try to remove the USB Stick without allowing to reject.
I normally use Mozilla Firefox but an upgrade programme I recently downloaded needs IE to install. IE couldn't display the webpage so I downloaded and installed IE9 On running there was a script error. Line 1, Char 1, Error 'Components is undefined', Code 0 and URL chrome://simppulltoolbar/content/lib/external.js. I selected Yes to continue running scripts. Then came this error. IE cannot display the webpage. I selected Diagnose Connection Problems but Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.
The internet explorer in my laptop is too slow to open. I was browsing the google and came across this site. I have MacFee installed on my lappy. Ran it and found no issues. Downloaded Hijackthis as recommended by this forum admin and here is the log file.

Got a problem with IE. I get a window saying that IE has a problem and gives an option to let the internet find a solution. This does not seem to help any. I can get out of it and keep going , but the same window will keep reappearing.
Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit. Windows Explorer issue, not Internet Explorer. In my folder tree, there was a folder named "Documents" which contained no information at all. Note: I am not referring to the Libraries folder named "Documents!"All of my files are in custom-named folders, each of which is preceded by my 3-letter, initials caps. But, after deleting that redundant, empty folder named "Documents," Windows added a new bizzarre folder which I cannot get rid of. It has no information in it; it has no other right-click options except "Expand," and clicking that option doesn't do anything at all. There is no information in that folder.
It was running fine before, but now it keeps freezing up and I get an error box at the bottom of the screen and I have to click "Recover Webpage" or something to that effect. The problem is that barely works and the tab ends up closing completely or the whole browser freezes. I don't know if this is an issue with the actual browser or with Windows itself cause as I said before, it was working fine until recently. I know the Windows updates have kinda screwed me up in the past though.
I have recently purchased a new pc with win7 64bit and it has ie8. Though everthing is working fine but the ie is very very slow.Hardly any page opens.
