I would really like if it would work on all devices the same as my gmail account does?
you know, if I delete or send something on one, it does it to them all?
Instead of having to delete the same email 3 times & being able to keep track of it all?
I currently use my iPhone, Outlook 2007 & their email server all at random times, but I want them all synced up as one?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently changed my ISP to BT from Eclipse. Previously Outlook 2010 was configured to allow emails to be downloaded from the Eclipse servers and to enable me to send emails using Outlook 2010 using my Eclipse email address. I also have Outlook configured using IMAP to enable me to download emails from Gmail. I can no longer send emails using my eclipse email account. How to reconfigure Outlook so that I can send and receive emails using the Gmail servers from Outlook 2010 as my primary email source.
View 1 Replies View Relatedokay so i have kind of a huge problem. well not really i'm just being a bit dramatic. lol. i have recently gotten a new laptop (hp pavillion dv7-6157cl / windows 7 home premium) and since i set it up i have had a problem signing into facebook. the only time i was able to do so is the day i got it, when my sister installed some add-on but it stopped working less than an hour later. i am able to access the web page but am unable to sign in. at first, i would put in my information to log in and i would see a message saying i had to enable cookies.. so i did that and i still get that lovely message sometimes and i go to my internet options and the cookies are enabled. -_- but what i usually get now is "you must log on to see this page" after i attempt to log in.
i know my log in information is correct because i am able to log in on my android, so that is not the problem. also, i have restored the internet settings to how it originally was and nothing. another problem that i had, which i mention just in case there is some correlation to the problem at hand, is that i was having problems logging into my gmail and Internet account. the problem was that i was checking the box for "stay signed in." so when i didn't check that box i was able to sign into both. oh and i am trying to refrain from using any other web browsers because some have told me that it is easier to get viruses and that they cause unnecessary problems that may easily be avoided.
I bought a floor model laptop that has an account called Kiosk on it. I created a new account and an admin account and deleted the Kiosk account. When windows 7 boots up the kiosk account pops up and attempts to log in. I have to switch users and manually enter the name of the new account. When I try to manage accounts the Kiosk account is nowhere to be found just the two accounts that I created.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo my creepy stalker over obsessive bf got onto my laptop while I was away and put in some kind of hack CD into my laptop and created his own 'virtual' account that he could log onto and delete the password off of my admin account. He went through all my stuff, found nothing, and changed my password. I cracked my password and the admin account he created with his CD thing, and the 'delete account' option is not showing in the user control place. I am pretty experienced when it comes to computers and all of that stuff but this account will NOT delete. I've even created new accounts, added passwords, made them admins, and I can delete those accounts.
So his special little account is really bugging me and I am at my wits end of busting his computer just because he thinks its ok to go through and change my things.
how to delete the account , its bugging me , and how to make sure he cant get on my laptop account again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI followed the procedure found on the web, I entered "netplwiz" and did unchecksers must enter a user name and password to use this computer". There is no password setTHere is just one user/account which is obviously also the administrator. (the Account tab shows also HomeGroupUser$, but I guess is a default option...)the point is that when I switch the pc on, I have to click on the icon of the user account in order to see the desktop. Is there any chance I can login automatically without even clicking on the user icon
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using Windows 7 Pro 64x and apparently the default user account (Owner) that I use is not working correctly. Unless I have UAC set to Never Notify, I cannot open Control Panel or UAC again. I have created a second user account as Administrator and it works correctly.
I would like to know if there is any way to fix this problem short of a clean install of Windows. If not, is it possible to move all of my settings to the user account that works correctly and delete the one that does not.
I'm hoping to teach Mum how to use my PC in the near future and she will only be using it for typing etc and maybe the internet. Also she only use it sometimes. shall I create a Limited User Account for her or turn on the Guest Account?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI would appreciate any help identifying the cause of extremely slow log on times for a user account on our family laptop. The machine is running Windows 7 - 64-bit version, and currently has 3 users accounts 2 admin and 1 regular. The regular account has begun to experience log on times that last for minutes (The Welcome splash screen prior to log on screen), while the admin accounts have no problems. I have seen other posts regarding slow log on times, but I haven't seen those which address the issue for a specific user account.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI finally pulled the trigger and installed Windows 7 on my main machine Friday. I had it on my development/test machine since RTM and RC before that. But now I live with it and I LOVE it.
I love the new taskbar, but there is one thing I am miss... I use GMail and I loved how in the task bar I could see the number of new emails I had with a quick glance. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know that GMail has an app you can install that runs in the status bar, but I don't want to be bugged when it comes in, I just want to be able to see the # when I want to look that direction.
I put a folder in my admin acct it also appears in the guest acct which is dangerous. I need both acct's but how can I put is only in admin. When I delete it from the guest acct is disappears from the admin acct too.
