Having real problems playing online games particularly blizzard. They suggest I set my ports which I have done. Then say not their problem must be your provider which is Orange. Dread using the Orange help lines.
-Windows 7 x64 -Asus P5k -Intel E8500, not OC'ed -4850 crossfire -3 x 2GB DDR2 800 (2 chips are transend and, other is dynet running in dual channel asymmetric mode) -550 watt Coolermaster PSU -Coolermaster storm scout case, so loads of Fans. -250GB seagate primary and 2 terrabyte seagate secondary.
First off, let me explain the whole situation. A few months ago my Graphics card blew and I sent it in for replacement (was a Asus 4850 512mb). The card was in crossfire with my other 4850, the force3d version and while the asus one was in I was using it as the primary card. So a few days ago (yes i know - sent it in a few MONTHS ago and only got it back now. I was procrastinating, we all do it) I got the card back and I put it back in my machine and installed the latest 11.12 drivers.
This is where the problem started. All of a sudden while playing Sc2 I got graphical corruption followed by a BSOD. My immediate thought was it must be the new drivers and so I went back to 11.11 drivers. But as you can assume the problem still persisted. Next I ran all kinds of stress tests:
- Prime95 for an hour
- Memtest for 3 hours
- multiple runs of 3DMark Vantage which all ended fine and without a BSOD But yet as soon as I launch WC3 frozen throne to play a game of DOTA, sh** starts happening. 15min into a game I get the same graphical corruption I get in SC2, but in WC3 it sometimes goes away almost as if the driver restarts, but eventually ends up in a BSOD.
Next thing I did was put the force 3d card as my primary and ran it without the asus card because I assumed it was the card that was causing problem yet again. But still the same graphical corruption and BSOD. The strange thing is that this only happens in blizzard games and not when I'm playing CoD mw3 or any other games for that matter. I've played for hours on end in mw3 and no problems. I even got the files for WoW from a friend and tested to see if I was right and I was as a BSOD soon occurred. After scourging the internet I found that a lot of people have had relativity the same errors with overheating components, but I'm pretty sure my temps are normal but, just in case, I will post them anyways
To shorten the story a hell of a lot I ended up formating (after running driver sweeper multiple times in safe mode and re-installing the AMD drivers multiple times), but still the same?I am convinced it is a driver problem, as ATI drivers are notorious for causing trouble and the fact that on WC3 sometimes the BSOD's are somehow avoided by what I think is Windows pulling the driver back from the depths of hell Another reason is if I ctrl + alt + del when the corruption starts happening and return to desktop windows pops up and says "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered".
I have recently built my own computer and I have been getting a lot of blue screens playing online. Starcraft 2 and League of legends. I have tested my ram and done chkdsk.exe /f they came out clean. I have attached a few minidumps for reference.
get to the root of these BS's I have been experiencing. I have not changed anything on my PC recently except Anti virus updates from AVG, no new hardware etc. They mostly occur when I'm playing games. but also happen when browsing the web. System specs are as follows:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z68A-D3-B3 Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1 Memory: 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Here's a bit of info from WhoCrashed:

I've been getting a blue screen on my computer. When i run games like metro 2033, Crisis, Batman: Arkham City, the pc runs well and nothing happens. But when i try to play Metin2 e pc crashes.
I have a problem where my CPU spikes to 100% while playing online games. When I check task manager there is no process that actually seems to spike. I have also tried a fresh windows install but this didn't fix the problem either. This only occurs while playing online games (starcraft II, league of legends), I tried offline games to see whether or not it had anything to do with the internet and I didn't get any cpu spikes at all playing offline games even though these games have higher performance requirements.
Whenever I go to a webpage and try to play games, view videos, or streaming content my system "freezes" every minute or two. I can never watch a video or play a game in its entirety without having to sit through numerous "freezes", or whatever it is. The little spinning icon just keeps going round and round.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz 8GB RAMnvidia gt 540m (updated to latest driver that was available on their website)Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1it is also an OEM version.I received a BSOD with stop error 0x0000003B when playing an online game. I've played this game many times on this laptop without this error up till now. I've attached the mini dump file in this post but i did not attach the perfmon /report however because I would receive an error saying that the data collection has timed out.
read through the stickies, and downloaded all necessary tools, except rammon won't open for some reason. my bsod mostly appears when i'm watching a video online, whether it be Internet, hulu, doesn't matter.
i have a few online games that i like, they run on adobe shockwave player. is there any way to download the games and play them offine without opening my internet browser?

my network connection has been dropping when I try to play any online game (I've tried 3 different games). I can browse, stream video/music. As well as download at speeds over 1MBs. But whenever I open an online game windows notifies me that I have no internet connection, but shows that I am still wirelessly connected to my router. This computer is brand new and has a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. This computer is the only one in the home having the issue, there are several other devices that are able to connect wirelessly with no issue. I have tried 2 different brand new wireless cards, with the newest drivers. I've also assured that my motherboard has the newest drivers. My event viewer shows several issue pertaining to both DNS issues, and to the Wlan.config I believe. I will check when I get home later this evening on the exact errors and their error codes. My next step is to try to reset my winsock and TCP/IP stack.
I play a flight simulator on line with other players. When I want to host the game, I give them my IP number but (I think) because of the fire wall, they cannot connect to my computer. How do I disable the firewall and activate it later after the game?

I have an Acer Aspire 5534 with an AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor L310 1.20 GHz laptop. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. My problem is that I can connect online, but cannot connect to certain online games that require the detection of my IP address. I have tried ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew, but I get an error message saying the media is disconnected. This occurs when I am connected both wired and wireless. The weird thing is that I have a perfect internet connection. So, basically, how can I renew my IP address? I have Comcast internet and a Belkin Router, all which seem to be working fine.
I don't know what caused this; the sounds(in my headset) suddenly stop then resume again. I'm sure that it isn't caused by lag or other internet related issues, I'm using the same headset after my computer has been replaced entirely and my past OS is WinXP. But my speaker works fine and doesn't encounter that problem, I also used that in my past WinXP pc.
