Lenovo N200 Laptop Problem
Sep 29, 2009hello, every time I put my laptop to sleep mode/close it does not play sound or open mp3 files after resuming windows. Ater restart it works normal again. Any advice?

Lenovo 3000 N200 CD/DVD-ROM Problem
Dec 7, 2009I am using Lenovo 3000 N200. I upgraded from Vista to Win 7 but my CD/DVD-ROM has not been detected. I tried installing the latest Win Updates and removing Upper-filters/Lower-filters in the registry but still to no avail.

May 24, 2011The computer its shutting down without warning in the middle of working with it. I tried without battery, only by plugged in, then with battery in and plugged in. I think its overheating, because the fan speeds up. Strangely he computer is not warm at all. Should i install a new win 7 or what? By the way the computer has been cleaned last month (april 2011).

Lenovo Laptop Will Not Boot
Jun 11, 2012Lenovo laptop with Windows 7 OS. The laptop shut down while plugged in overnight. I have removed the battery and let it sit for hours to cool/reset. Upon power up, the hard drive light comes on for 2-3 seconds, then goes off. Sometimes the screen flickers white for another 2-3 seconds, but the OS never boots up. I have removed the hard drive and plugged it into another computer via a SATA cable. I was able to read data. The drive appears to be working. I ran Malware Bytes and it cleared off some suspect files (PUP.FunWebProducts and PUP.MyWebSearch). I have a log file to post if helpful. When I put the hard drive back into the laptop, I get the same result as before. I made a recovery disc on another Win 7 computer and attempted to boot the Lenovo from the disc, but still I get the same result. I have tried pressing F8 at start up, but still no joy. Is this a BIOS issue, failed HD controller, or something else?

Oct 14, 2012Starting about two days ago (Friday - October 12th) my laptop has been experiencing what I can only seem to call internet "hiccups"I will easily connect to the internet upon starting it up, as usual, but after attempting to browse the internet or use any online game or application, it takes several minutes to load before telling me I have no internet connection, all the while it is showing I have excellent 5 bar connection in the bottom right next to my clock.After experimenting, I decided to use the command prompt to ping google using the -t command so it would continually ping it.This showed that during a "hiccup" period (When my internet isn't working but shows it's working), I only get packets back about every other time, while the others say "Request timed out"So it is showing that I am literally connected every other second. I theorize that this is why it doesn't show me disconnected in the bottom right.I've tried reinstalling the drivers, restarting, restoring, and anything else I and several of my friends could think of to no avail. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening.
