Kindly give Dell Inspiron 1420 web cam driver for win7.
Answer:-
1- Always try first in the web page of the manufacturer of the PC or laptop. 2- You would never get the answer to your mail. 3- See the below link, use the vista driver, if doesn't work, your web cam isn't supported for win 7. But I think that your web cam should work with the vista driver or win 7 install the correct driver from internet.
PLS HELP ME FIND SOLUTION TO THE SOUND DRIVER OF A DELL INSPIRON 1420 RUNNING ON WINDOWS 7 O.S. YHANK YOU ALL.
Answer:-
Win 7 drivers aren't listened of the DELL's web page for your laptop, so, if your Win 7 is x86, you can try install the Vista driver from the following link:-
My holiday upgrades have started and I upgraded a Dell Inspiron 1420 today, it was a good experience, however there were some very important drivers missing in the out of the box process that were easy enough to fix so I wanted to share the details for those who might not find this so obvious because you have a machine that works GREAT with Windows 7! First, verify what sound device and video device you have before you start this process it will provide some confidence in the steps here. The Dell Inspiron 1420 Im referring to had a SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio processor and a NVidia GeForce 8400GS Graphics processor. Windows 7 doesnt seem to know this hardware is part of the machine and so the drivers are completely missing, instead there is generic audio driver (enables the headphone jacks, but not the built-in speakers) and a generic VGA graphics adapter driver provided (that provides full resolution but no Aero support).
I've got a Compaq Presario CQ61, Windows 7 SP1 installed, fully patched. I've got no sound from internal speakers and headphone jacks. I've uninstalled drivers and re-installed, I've used DriverMax to find drivers as well, uninstalled and reinstalled. No luck. Thats what's showing in my Device Manager. Volume Control is not muted, and maxed out for volume, and there is movement when clicking on the volume control just no sound.
One day my sound was working fine, and then after spending a long day of sound editing (with headphones in) sound suddenly stopped working from the internal speakers. Sound works from my headphones when they are plugged in but not my speakers and drivers are working properly. Now, here is the odd thing... whenever I change the volume for the 'Independant Headphones' from the sound panel, the sound works fine from the speakers with no problem for about 2-3 seconds! The default is currently set to 'Speakers and Headphones'. I have tried unplugging and replugging headphones to make sure the jack switch is reset in both slots, still no luck!
I have a Dell M1330 laptop purchased some years ago which is currently running Windows 7. Despite my latest attempts to correct the audio problem, it still persists. My internal speakers are the only ones affected by this problem. When I plug external speakers into my computer they work just fine. The problem doesn't change depending on what type of audio or video I am running. I have run the windows 7 integrated driver updating software and it has said that all of my audio drivers are up to date.
My audio jack or headphones on Dell Vostro 1015 do not produce sound. The computer recognizes and displays that a headphone has been inserted. The in-built speakers work well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the high definition audio drivers. I have tried to troubleshoot it with the Windows 7 Professional 32 bit troubleshooter but it does not work. It was working well until a few days ago. I have done a sfc/scannow on it.
I somehow experience a problem that my heaphones (small ones), which work properly on my mobile, produce sound when connected to laptop only from the right headphone. The left one isn't reacting to tests as well.
