Ok so I installed windows 7 on a Hp Pavilion dv6500 a couple of weeks ago and had lots of trouble updating drivers but this guy from this forum kindly helped me figure almost everything out, after a couple of days I tried to use some of my usb connections and none of them are working, it either says it can't be recognized or they just won't open at all, I really NEED to use my usb connections are right now and none of them are working.
I recently installed Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv2000 notebook. I did this without noticing it was muted. Now I have no audio. I have tried downloading a variety of vista compatible Conexant High-Definition Audio drivers and as yet none have worked.
The audio icon in my taskbar has a red circle with a white cross in it. When I try to install the latest driver through windows task manager it says I have the latest one. When I do a windows update I get no difference. Not really sure what I should do now. I'm out of ideas. Help? Please?
I have to hardwire my connection to type this. I installed all the graphics/wireless/fingerprint drivers but I still cannot access wireless internet. I don't know what's going on. I just reformatted the PC a couple hours ago. (not factory reset, windows 7 ultimate upgrade)
I have a HP Pavilion tx2500z (model: KD436AV) laptop with Windows 7 64 bit OS installed. Since last few months, I am not able to use default function keys (F1, F2...F12) and other keys at the top row of the keyboard, including Pg Up, Pg Down, Home, End, Insert, Delete. However, all the Action Keys available on these keys are working without pressing Fn Key (e.g. Sleep, Brightness, num lock etc). I get same Action Key behaviour even after pressing Fn Key.
It looks like, somehow system is locked in action key mode and I am not able to come out of it. I tried to upgrade Bios (currently on latest F.0F version) and also tried to disable the Action Key mode in BIOS, but Action Key mode is not available in BIOS of this computer. Even to enter BIOS, I faced problem because F10 key was not working to enter BIOS setup. I had to connect external keyboard to enter BIOS.
I have a laptop from HP, Pavilion dv6000, and the webcam, which is built-in webcam and it always worked fine under windows xp. Now it does not work and I do not even see it listed anymore under Device Manager.
I reformatted my computer recently and ever since my Dell BT Travel Mouse is not working. Bluetooth is turned on in the BIOS, and I used driver genius to get all of the drivers needed. It is connecting to the mouse and I can see it in the Devices. That being said I can't actually move the cursor with the mouse.
I have an hp laptop when i right click on a file choose send to Bluetooth device it says no blue tooth devices found.I have no problem in sending the files by opening the blue tooth icon on the desktop and selecting send filed, all my drivers are up to date.
i have a presario cq62 105TU lately my bluetooth has stopped working.cannot detect other devices or vice versa.though the bluetooth icon shows in the system tray.I have already installed the hp integrated module for bluetooth also the software support for the same.
i am using HP 210 netbook and its having built-in bluetooth device that i have used many times prevoisly, but since last week my bluetooth device is not working. everytime i click "bluetooth file transfer" and klik receive files, it says "the files could not be sent because the connection could not be established. check to make sure the bluetooth radio is plugged in". since it is bulit-in bluetooth, i dont know how to make sure the bluetooth is work. When i try to search in device manager, in system devices, i found "atheros bluetooth bus".when i click it said "the devices working properly". But the bluetooth still not work.
I have been using a HP DV3 Pavillion Note Book for last year and a half, which has bluetooth connectivity. It runs on Windows7 Home Premium OS. For the last several months, my note book cannot connect to any other bluetooth device in its vicinity, nor other devices can connect to it. Even in the notification area bluetooth icon no longer appears. It is as if bluetooth software has simply disappeared. HP Wireless assistant shows that bluetooth has been disabled. The wireless assistant screen does not show any button to enable it. What could be the problem?
