Random times throughout the day I seem to get a BSOD with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is but I've uninstalled my video card drivers and ran Memtest, which passed - yet still have the issues.
Unfortunately I now am running into a BSOD 0x000000a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. I have included the JCGriff file, Perfmon, and zipped up Minidump files (2 of them to be exact). I am unsure as to what the problem of this one is. I ran MemTest86+ for over 15 Hours and 9 passes and reported no errors. I will be running a chkdsk /r /f along with a Hitachi DiskFitness test. after I post this and will report back.
I'm trying to install the newest build on an old laptop that currently runs XP. I try booting from the DVD, and after it gets to the point where the little green progress bar animation plays on the bottom of the screen, I instantly get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod.
Other cases I've found of this bsod seem to be related to peripheral drivers, but it's a laptop, so there are none (per se).
im having blue screen on my computer when i shut down or restart it. not all the time, but i think 6 times already. my computer is kinda new. so im not really sure if the hardware is to blame. im getting the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in Windows 7 32-bit. anybody knows how to fix this?my computer specs are ECS G41T-M6, Core 2 Duo E7500, GeForce GT240, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.i already memtested my computer for about 3hrs. it didnt get any errors. i also changed my previous video card (HD 5550) to GT240. im still experiencing blue screen unexpectedly.btw, my computer runs fine and i can use it like everyday. its just that, i dont wanna leave it unrepaired.
I have had a very solid stable system since 2010, then I decided 6 GB of RAM and a 9800GT/GTX560Ti wasn't enough. I sold these parts away and replaced them with 24 GB of RAM and a GTX560Ti 448 edition. The instant I throw these new parts into my box I start getting the two different BSoD errors (the ones in the title). I have cleared everything of my previous overclocks with the upgraded components.System Specs: (bolded is what was introduced to the system which created the errors)Windows 7 Professional x647 930EVGA 132-BL-E758 (Motherboard)EVGA GTX560Ti 448 FTW EditionPatriot Extreme Performance (24 GB of RAM)If you need to know anything besides the core components that I have, let me know. Attached are the dump files.
The story so far:I have ran Memtest overnight on all the sticks of RAM and nothing comes up, it claims they're all good. I'm not sure how to test the graphics card, but what I can tell you is that I can login to Windows and within 5 minutes the BSoD shows itself. When in safe mode, (where I am right now), it runs more stable, but I have had it BSoD in here as well; It's just nowhere near as often. So, this makes me think its not hardware related and hopefully it's not because I have no other RAM sticks or graphics card to test with.My thoughts:I only used 3 of the 6 slots for RAM on the motherboard before this upgrade so initially I thought maybe I had a bad slot. I can't disprove that, but I still get the BSoD when using only 1 stick of RAM in a slot that was previously known as working. I uninstalled the graphics driver for my old GTX560Ti and downloaded the latest driver for my new graphics card and still get a BSoD.
My OS is Windows 7 I have been getting a blue screen/error lately that is the frustrating IRQL_not_less_or_equal error. Here is some data I find when my computer restarts itself:

I read some other posts and downloaded BlueScreenView, here are the results

I'm not pretty sure when it occurs but usually happens when I'm using firefox (but mainly randomly).
It's a windows 7 home premium 64 bit new build pc. Very very carefully stuck together, very very carefully installed only the right drivers, very very carefully installed software to make sure nothing starts that I don't want starting and there are no lazy apps using up memory.
Windows 7 flies, it's a lovely machine now but occasionally I get a bsod at startup. I've followed the instructions and added a zip file with all the outputs.
This started happening last night while i was playing Borderlands 2, it has happened at idle, playing just about any game in my library, during downloads and just browsing the web. I changed all of my accessible drivers, and it continued to happen, so i moved all of my personal files onto my external HDD. I re installed windows on my SSD (did not reformat) and reformatted my HDD. I re installed my drivers, re-enabled SLI and it ran fine for about an hour, just downloading WoW, and then happened again twice.
Just installed windows 7 about a month or so ago, running great, only every now and then if my system is idle and I wiggle the mouse to make it come back on , it just reboots automatically[CODE]
I get the BSOD when I'm playing games, and it says "driver power state failure". When i first saw this, i tried updating my drivers, and it did fix the problem for a while but then afterwords it occurs again. I do not know which specific driver is causing theI am using a Alien ware M17x-R3 Laptop, Pre-installed Windows 7 x64, Intel Core i7-2720QM 2.2 ghz processor, 8 GB ram installed
I get BSOD a lot. Usually I solve it by restoring to last state in safe mode. But this time I made the minidump file and wondering.I've tried updating my drivers(specially display adapters) at device manager but windows says they are up to date.
Well my computer blue screened again. I've attached the dump reports. I don't know why it's still doing this; is it really still my wireless USB adapter? If it still is then I'll invest in a PCI wireless adapter instead.I forgot to copy and paste the error report when Windows started. Here's my specs:i5-2500K Sandy Bridge stock @ 3.3GHz16GB (4GBx4) DDR3 1600MHz Corsair VengeanceNVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 HD 2.5GB [EDIT: the card is an EVGA branded card]GigaByte GA-Z68MA850W Corsair CMPSU-850TXV22TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 the original installed OS on the systemFull Retail All hardware is only a year old minus the hard drive which is 3 years oldOS was reinstalled a month ago due to random blue screens flashing up during Windows start up.I was having some BSOD earlier and found out it was the Nvidia Updater that was causing the problem. I do the perfmon /report and nothing shows up in the report. I keep getting the errors but can not put my finger on it.
I have been getting a new BSOD error message, it was happened every 15 minutes or so while trying to play BF3 last night.I also ran a Memtest overnight, 8 passes and 0 errors.-x64-OEM-Asus mobo, i5, PSU, 8GB Ram, are all 3 months old when I did a fresh Windows 7 install.
A while ago I had some bluescreens with the error-code F4 which I could fix by updating the SSD firmware (from 1.3.0 to 1.3.3). But since then, I sometimes have a bluescreen with the errorcode 101. The bluescreens only appear while I'm playing Battlefield 3 or sometimes when I currently play nothing; in other situations my pc just freezes and I have to use the power button. With Google I found out, that this bluescreen is caused by an error with the processor, so I ran Prime95 and watched the temperatures with SpeedFan. The temperature of the second core was 98C so I started logging the temperature. After another bluescreen I looked in the logfile but the temperature was only around 40C. So it seems that nothing overheats (which is also proved by the fact that the bluescreens appears while nothing runs that stresses the hardware alot).
i keep getting this BSOD well i just play Fly For Fun thats about it that is what i use my computer for most of the time and Facebook. i checked for over 2 days on Google so i found this forums today and hope i canI Try to run on Safe mode but it wont by pass BSOD[CODE]
The OS is crashing when viewing a flick in TVU Player. So far, this is the only time this occurs, I can watch a variety of other video apps without any problem (knock on wood). What I did find searching seemed to point to a general concensus that the root of the problem was the Nvidia driver, but those posts were over a year old, and I would hope that Nvidia would have gotten it straight by now.
The process mentioned in the BSODs is nvlddlkm.sys, which obviously is part of the nvidia drivers. I'm currently using the latest Nvidia driver, and it didn't sound like going back to an older driver was likely a solution.
Since this appears to only effect TVU Player, one might think that it is the culprit, but I have tried several different versions of it without an improvement. Bottom line is whether anyone has any relevant suggestions, other than just stabbing in the dark?
i have an asus notebook.it uses 64 bit os.one day when i started it a blue screen problem happened.it waits a few seconds and the pc restarts.thought it was a virus and software problem and i formatted it but still there is the blue screen.there is an error message which notes out the mindump & temp folder.what can i do?
After recently installing a new RAM DIMM to my PC, once in a while Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit crashes. I'm not certain, but I think the only error I've received on BSoD is "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" (last time the parameters were 0x00000050 (0x80eac2dd, 0x00000000, 0x9e306c99, 0x00000002)). I'll attach the mini-dump files. I'm pretty sure is related to my RAM, because it's mixed. I sure hope my new DIMM isn't faulty. I'm also attaching a report from Everest about my PC.
P.S.: I've also recently played a bit with my BIOS to OC my CPU a bit. CPU voltage is at 1.45V, memory is set to 1.85V, DDR-2 667, 5-5-5-18-2T.
P.P.S.: Forgot to mention... I've run memtest86+ overnight (about 8 hours) - no errors... Also ran Windows' memory test - no errors.
I have built a few computers over the years and this is the first one that has had an issue that has totally stumped me. I have built it for the parents. Now as far as i can tell everything is fine with the build, but the computer is randomly BSOD,especially when running the WINDOWS VERIFIER, to catch the error (BSOD on startup).I have used a program to analyze the results of the Verifier and this is the result:
On Wed 5/23/2012 9:14:30 AM GMT your computer crashed crash dump file: C:Windowsmemory.dmp This was probably caused by the following module: ndisrd.sys (ndisrd+0x266E) Bugcheck code: 0xC4 (0x40, 0x0, 0xFFFFF9800ED66C50, 0x0) Error: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION
After previously solving the BSOD error "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval" by replacing the CPU, I have run into another BSOD. This time the error is "memory management". After doing some research I'm thinking this error is about some program conflicts or something similar (I'm hoping that is the case!), instead of a hardware problem. I have attached the last 3 minidumps I have.
Started getting blue screens for about a month(maybe, i cant remember cause its been so long!) now and i'm going insane because i've spent a LOT of time and effort attempting to fix the bsod's only to failim going to try and include everything i can and not miss anything important and end up looking like a noob.
