I wanna to convert some of my videos on pc for my Nokia cellphone(can't afford to buy iPhone).
I've searched on google and download a few softwares. But they are all trial version with waternarks on the output mp4 videos. So I'm here and ask you,is there a free video converter without watermarks output?
I have AVS Video Converter and what I'm trying to do is download 1920x1080 (I don't want 720p) video clips, converting them from mp4 to wmv and setting them as my desktop background. I use this converter because it is the first converter I tried that gives me lossless conversion to wmv. My screen resolution is 1280x800.I use the 1920x1080 video and leave all the settings except for aspect ratio which I set to 16:9 and the resolution to encode the video at 1280x800.When I set it as my desktop background, the video is still 1920x1080 and if you compare the original to the desktop background, the video is "protruding" from the screen, so I can't see some areas.I've tried setting windows background to center, tile and all options but still nothing.

I tried using dell support center, but that cant provide a video driver either.

I've just upgraded to windows 7 from xp, and HP doesnt seem to make drivers for my old laptop anymore, though windows 7 is running pretty smoothly! I've been able to find all of the missing drivers, like the one for my soundcard, and install them either in vista or xp compatibility mode, but I can't seem to find this last one. I read in another thread that the hardware IDs might be helpful. Well, here are the hardware ids listed for my video controller (I'm still not even sure what the video controller does):

i just bought a new Asus laptop a few months ago everything seemed well until it started crashing saying that it faield to initialize video drive.i tried a couple of methods using gparted testdsk chkdsk,it wont boot into safe mode but i managed to boot from cd.
I tried all tools from system recovery like startup repair system restore and none seem to work also i get a message in the system recovery box Operating system:Unknown on(Unknown)Local Disk
my laptop is an asus k53s model with a 750hdd ntfs format i used gparted to make new partitions out of the 750hdd.
Nothing seems to work and id rather not make a clean install because i have very important files on it that i cant afford to lose.
Also when i boot into gparted i can see all partitions,but yellow triangle with a ! is shown near my C partition where i have windows installed.I have no idea what to do to make it see my C:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Optiplex 760 small form that I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 due to a hard drive issue,I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit, I have 2 Gigs of Ram and a 3.00 Core2Duo processor. After the reinstall of Windows I am not able to set the proper resolution of my Dell 1909wf (widescreen monitor) the proper resolution of 1440x900, I am not able to select it.I have my monitor connected though VGA as that is the only connection on my computer. When I go in to Device Manager, I have a little warning triangle next to Intel (R) 4 Series Internal Chipset. When I click on properties of the Intel 4 chipset, the error is: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.I have downloaded the drivers for the graphics card and for the chipset directly from Dell by entering the service tag and have rebooted my computer several times with no success. I have even had Windows search for the latest update and It says I have the latest driver installed.I also have a warning triangle on Intel (R) Management Engine Interface. Keep in mind that my computers graphics card worked great and had the proper drivers on 7 before the hard drive was re-imaged. I have other 760s with the same specs and monitors that have no issues.

If I buy a converter will the HD behave as if it were using SATA, will the transfer speeds remain the same? Or will it degrade?
Someone told me it would be possible to add 2 devices using the PATA/IDE ports, but so far I've only seen converters that only have an option for 1 IDE device. How many devices can the PATA port support?

I would like to create a virtual machine, load Windows 7 into it, then get the w8 upgrade (I get os upgrades cheaply as a teacher) and try the upgrade in the vpc before I decide to upgrade my computer. I have heard lots of bad reviews about w8, so I will probably skip it as my main os, but I would like to check it out in a vpc. However, I have only installed xp that I downloaded from ms in a vpc, so I have a big learning curve here.So I have two questions:
1) Can I successfully install an iso image of my current os into a vpc that I create on this comuter? Would the drivers be the same in the vpc?
2) What is the best free software to use to convert an xml image to iso to do this?

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."
It worked fine in XP. I have 2 additional displays I'd like to control with the second video card. I do not have them connected in Sli. I uploaded a pic of the error message.
Where can i find free drivers for a soyo motherboard, need Ethernet drivers.
