Aug 9, 2011i am currently using windows 7 home premium 32 bit and having problem with changing size of user account picture.
what it is is when i change the 128 x 128 picture's size to 64 x 64 and set it as user account picture and see the log on screen, it doesn't actually shrink. instead what i am getting is a blurry version still with the size of 128 x 128.
Logon Screen User Picture Size?
Jun 23, 2010I was wondering if there is a way in which you can change the size of the user picture in the logon screen... What I mean here... is that, no matter the picture you use for it, the logon screen shows it at a "fixed" size... but sometimes, it is shown in a little frame, while in other PC's, you can see it bigger... I don't know if it's matter of resolutions... I hope I'm getting understood. is there a way to control or change that?See ya!!!

Dec 21, 2009I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. I used the Easy Transfer program to migrate my files. I reinstalled some of my software before moving my user settings back onto the system.
I went in to change my User Account pictures and there is no option to save changes to either account. It shows the picture selection but no Save Changes button at the bottom of the window.
I'm back to hating Microsoft unless this is my user error. (and using Windows doesn't count as an error)
The upgrade has been working pretty well for Microsoft and I'm really pleased with the improved performance but get irritated by the little challenges.
Any suggestions?
Change The Main Window Bars (Just Add A Picture To Them)?
Jun 24, 2012want to change the main window bars (Just add a picture to them) so they are not so boring, i have used themes before so know it is possible, but unsure of how to change this single item. May be that i will have to get an entire theme again but just hoping there is a better way. so to be clear here is what i mean, on my Chrome (I have a chrome theme installed) you see the tree's on the bars, then you see my explorer frame and you see nothing but the plain old boring bar.

Any Way To Change Default Icon Size?
Dec 17, 2011I've been trying to find a way to change the default icon size in Windows 7. My machine defaults to 'small' icon size, but I prefer the 'large' one, in just about every case. Instead of needing to manually change the size for each individual folder, is there a way I can set 'large' to be the default for all folders? I couldn't find anything in the control panel and haven't been able to find anything about setting a default size yet.

As such it is not in fact a "Gigabyte" But a "Gibibyte". This is extremley annoying, as for egxample, I have a 2TB hard Drive, which in the settings tells me is:2,000,263,573,504 bytes, this is correct, however it also tells me that the hard drive is 1.81TB when it should say 2TB. Nov 14, 2010I think I made a mistake, as when I partitioned my drive after I bought my laptop, I set my Windows partition(C to a much smaller size than usual (30gb). Now I see in the Computer section in win 7 64bit that the drive has like 3 gb of free space. Is that enough for running ? I would like to increase the size of this partition, but with the ordinary way, I can just lower the size, not increase it.
Also, I would like to change the menu and running language to English. Laptop is in German right now, I speak the language, but I`ve gotten used to having my software in English...
