Installing Brother MFC J265W - Print Processor Does Not Exist
Aug 22, 2011When I tried to install my Brother MFC J265W I've got message:
"Operation could not be completed (error 0x0000070c)".
I press OK installation process was still going on and after few minutes I've got another message:
"Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000706). The print processor does not exist."
The setup finished and after restart in Control Panel my printer didn't shop up and when I tried to print something my printer was not installed.

Oct 29, 2009I have 2 laptops and a desktop. All of them are now running Windows 7.
I am unable to print from either of the laptops. I have set up my Home Group and made sure each computer has the same password.
The HP printer I have is connected via USB port to the desktop. I can print from the desktop. When I try to print from either of the laptops it does not print.
Please help-is their a sequence of things I should check on each computer?

Sep 16, 2011My problem is that I had to have a new wireless modem installed from ATT it is a 2wire892. I ran a wireless network test and it still has the old network name on it. I have a hp c4500 series all in one printer. Tried reloading everything and nothing. I also have another laptop that is a Acer Travelmate c310, windows xp service pack 3 on it. They both show the printer and I can hit the print button, the printer will just not print from the wireless computers. [code]

When I googled this someone advised to check resource manager to find out what was causing the error word seemed to be waiting on splwow64.exe.Thought this might be just word so tried open office software same issue.Realised I could not print any longer from laptop to printer over the network as well resource manager spoolsv.exe causing the hang.I have racked my brains to think of what might have changed a few weeks ago cant think of anything same computers, same printer.

Jan 28, 2012I recently replaced my wireless router and Bellsouth DSL modem with a single Netgear DGN2200 DSL modem/wireless router. The problem is my desktop which is wired, cannot see the laptop computers that are on the network via wireless connection. If I start a homegroup with one of the laptops, the other laptop can join but my desktop cannot (no "join now" option). If I start a homegroup with my wired desktop, neither laptop sees it.However, if I connect my desktop to the network using my USB wireless adapter, then I can establish a homegroup with either a laptop or the desktop with no problem.I have checked that IPv6 is enabled and that all the services listed in other posts are enabled. I'm fairly certain the cause is some setting in my router security, but I don't see anything that would prevent my desktop from linking. I can also get on the internet with no problem.

My laptop recognises the printer but the printer does not print anything requested by the laptop. The PC prints perfectly. Sharing appears to be set up correctly.

Aug 16, 2011I have a LAN with 2 laptops and one desktop connected. The desktop has an HP Photosmart D7160 connected via a USB port. Both laptops have had Windows 7 installed for several months. The desktop was recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. After the upgrade, one of the laptops will still print, but the other laptop will not. The correct printer driver has been installed on both laptops. Reinstalling the printer driver on the desktop did not help. When the desktop had Vista installed, all printing functions were fine. I suspect a network problem, but don't know how to attack it. All computers are running Kaspersky Internet Security. I have tried disabling Kaspersky on the problem laptop, but no help.

Dec 7, 2011I'm helping to develop a web application that uses iframes. On the main page (outside of all frames), we have a div that we use to display and print forms. We also have 2 nested iframes; the innermost iframe contains the main page content. When printing, we use extensive CSS and Javascript (contained in the outermost window) to hide everything except the print div.When I use File > Print Preview, it always displays the correct preview; that is, the outermost window which contains the print div. Printing from the Print Preview works as it should. However, when I use File > Print, it seems to print whatever window has focus, not the entire page (outermost window). Therefore my print div doesn't get printed and all I get is a printout of whatever is currently onscreen. Why doesn't the print out from File > Print match what is shown in the print preview?
A related issue occurs when using JavaScript's window.print(). When I call window.print from within the print div, it prints as it should. But when I call parent.parent.window.print() from within the double-nested iframe, IE still only prints the window that has focus, not the outermost window (as shown by "parent.parent."). And since they just clicked on a button in the innermost frame, the innermost frame has focus, my print div doesn't print and all I get is a printout of whatever is currently onscreen. I have been using "parent.parent" for all other Javascript calls from the nested iframe to the outermost, so I know that's not the problem.
My temporary solution is to focus on the outermost frame when the users mouses out of the nested window (ie, when they mouse up to the file menu) Code: window.onmouseout = parent.parent.window.focus(); and focus on the outermost frame when the user clicks the print button that is within the nested frame. I would really rather not do this focusing, especially on mouseout, because it seems to cause some issues when the user pulls up another application.I have also tried using the onbeforeprint event to focus. The onbeforeprint was triggered, but I couldn't get the focusing to work correctly.I haven't been able to find anything regarding these problems online; has anybody had similar problems?

It still copies the screen to the clipboard for a paste into paint, but I can't figure out why it's bringing up the dialog to print or how to turn that off. I tried to unzip a file to the desktop and got a permissions denied error.2) Typing commands in the start menu goes to search results instead of straight to that item. Sep 4, 2010Is there some way to configure Windows 7 to execute commands (such as resolution changing, killing/starting processes and services, etc.) whenever the laptop switches from AC to DC and back? I have been using batterysaver from codeplex.com but it is still in beta and hasn't seen any updates for around 6 months. It is somewhat unreliable and I can't get it to trigger nircmd.exe to lower my resolution when I switch to battery or to raise it when I switch back.I think my best bet would be Task Scheduler, but I don't know how to make a power event a trigger.
