I recently downloaded the student download for windows 7. After i downloaded it off my school's website, the 2 GB file was put into a folder on my laptop. I tried opening the file but it won't let me. This is the file name: en_windows_7_ultimate_win32_x15-79703 and its an IMG file.

I downloaded from Digital River yesterday with the student discount, and had the same problem as everyone else "unboxing" the download. I used the fix that's been circling round the forums and have got it installed and working. The only thing I'm missing is a product key. Wasn't Digital River supposed to give me one in my confirmation email?
I've received nothing of the sort, and would really like to activate this product I've purchased. I have product keys from previous versions of Windows that I've bought, but the machine I installed Windows 7 on was using Linux as its main operating system. Any thoughts?
