View 2 RepliesFor months now I've been fighting that my hardware cursor disappears in World of Warcraft on my home theater system and time I switch modes to full screen and sometimes even in windowed mode and the reason for this is apparently due to me setting my display text size to 150% or 125%. I did find via some searching WoW customer service forums that if I set it back to 100% (default) OR 149% customized, my hardware cursor works again. I'm going to leave it at 149% because I really do need the larger text size on my HDTV and using 149%, I don't have to change back to normal, log out, log in, then start my game.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running out of space on my system drive (120GB SSD with < 6GB remaining). It happened in only 12 months. I'd like to know where all that space went, which files are using it. So I'm looking for a way to rank files by size regardless of their folder location, largest-to-smallest, ideally without a full scan of the disk if there are internal indexes that have this info.

View 13 Replies View RelatedMy C: drive has been displaying a size of around 60 gb with 40 free even though it's a 300 gb drive. I thought the issue would resolve with a clean install, so I did that. Now I have a fresh install and i need to reinstall everything, but the problem isn't fixed. Below are some screen shots of the drive size:Disk Management, showing my C: Drive's full size ^Any suggestions of how I can reclaim this space?? I've tried a few things already to no avail. If you need any more information about my computer to help, let me know. This is pretty annoying, 'cause I want to use that extra space to install Ubuntu.Oh, I just rememberedWhen I look at the drive in Paragon Partition Manager, it shows the full Drive size, but says that the space that is missing from Windows is in use...

I'm gonna put Photoshop, Office and various small crap. Games, I guess? Only playing Civ V Gods & Kings now, nothing else. I've got other HDDs for storage.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been wanting to ask for a little while now. I was going to upgrade the RAM on my old netbook. It is a Samsung N130. When I went on Amazon, I googled "2GB Netbook Ram", and it came up with a lot of searches. In the images, some of them look bigger than the others (length, and width). I was just wondering if the RAM was all the same size. Because I really don't want to spend like 15 on RAM when it don't even fit in my Netbook.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a latitude d830 running with windows 7 professional(SP1, 32bit). The cursor on my computer has been randomly scrolling by itself and hopping into places where i do not intend to type for a while now. I recently had windows xp removed and replaced with windows 7 because of multiple bothersome issues, but behold the cursor issue remains. My files were backed-up and reloaded to the computer and I now wonder if the "suspected" virus was transferred to my system again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery once in a while, when I go over a link, my cursor will become (for about a tenth of a second) a huge, kind of greenish-orange Link cursor. This has happened for a while... The earliest I can think of it happening was a few days after I installed Office 2010 Beta.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an issue where the spinning blue circle that (I suppose) indicates the system is thinking shows up every 10 seconds or so, no matter what I'm doing. I was advised that McAfee antivirus was a likely culprit b/c it often doesn't play well with others. I uninstalled it and went with a freeware solution instead, but the issue remains. [code] My system idle process is at 98, which I understand is a good thing. Also, I read all about SearchIndexer and changed the settings so that there's no unneccessary drag on resources. Question: Is it normal to see processes duplicated like this? My stats: Pentium Dual-Core E5500 2.8 Ghz, 6.00Gb Memory, Windows 7 Home 64-bit. I don't "do" much with the computer, the 1tb hdd is only about 10% used.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my mouse cursor. In some games it keeps moving down. It suddenly began doing it. It wasn't a problem when I installed windows 7. It is primarily a problem in the games that come with Windows 7, so I've been ignoring it, but I can't play Fallout New Vegas because the cursor problem occurs in that game as well. I have a Logitech MX 620 mouse. I have tried to pull out the batteries to see if that helped, but it didn't. I tried to unplug the mouse to see if that helped, but it didn't. I tried installing Setpoint, but it didn't change anything.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with Windows 7 Home not recognizing 3TB drives. They show up as 746.5GB in Windows Setup (3TB in BIOS), and I have them running in RAID1 (via Intel RST 10.8). From everything I could find this was a problem with Intel RST 10.1 and older, and should no longer be an issue OR can be fixed in Windows through some extensive maintenance.
Can I fix this prior to Windows 7 Home Installation? If so, how?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm facing one serious cursor issue.Whenever I'm typing something, the cursor is just going off from it's normal place.
For example: Right now I'm typing in a Notepad and the cursor is just going off the notepad and I have to click again inside the notepad to bring the cursor back to it's position so that I can type. The same thing happens while chatting with someone. I've to click on the chat window again and again to type my messages.I recently got my palm rest replaced which included new touch pad and I'm pretty much sure that it's not touch pad problem. This is really frustrating and annoying.
