I have a Sony Vaio vgn-fs810 laptop that is in need of these three drivers and I cannot locate them. After installing 7 today I have issues such as no sleep (just hibernate) and CD drive will not initialize, so these drivers are needed.
Specs:1.5 GHz Intel Celeron M 370 CPU, 400 MHz front side bus, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 graphics controller (128 MB shared memory)
Any help would be great! I was not able to download the proper drivers at the Vaio website Sony eSupport - Electronics I attempted to try the Vista drivers and they did not work.
Do windows 7 support windows vista drivers? im asking this because i've got geforce fx 5200 and there is no windows 7 drivers for it. I found on google, that windows 7 supports vista's drivers fine.
This PC should be good to upgrade but what are the exact manufactures parts that are used so I can get a list of drivers that work. I have looked at the dell driver page but it is not what I needed because it wont tell you who the manufacture is. I tried calling them but since this is not a question that can be answered but a flash card that was a waist of an hour.
I am running RAID 0 now and I want to know what driver I should use. I am almost sure that it is a nVidia driver. I don't know.
Also can I change my BIOS out from the one that is installed?
Seems that HP is way behind the curve again. It took them almost 4 months to write Vista drivers for the Color LaserJet 2600N (and the stickers on the box were touting "Made for Vista or some rubbish while the drivers were not available).
So here we are on the Windows 7 launch date and what does HP have to say?
Print drivers for your product will be available for download from HP when Windows 7 is launched worldwide.
I have been researching up on the Asus Crosshair III before i purchase. I have been reading reviews about how you need to download Win7 drivers and the most recent bios from the Internet which is not a problem. However i came across one concern. I am building a computer from nothing, and the drivers that come with the Asus Crosshairs are not for win7. I also read that in order to update the drivers to win7 you need vista.
I just need confirmation that this is true. Is it possible to update my motherboard's drivers/bios just by purchasing the full version of Win7? Or do i have to purchase vista and update the drivers/bios and then buy the upgrade for win7? Just a little confused as to what needs to be done.
I went on the asus website and found the drivers. Just need clarification on how i install them.
Major computer manufacters generally speaking provide pretty good support for drivers and updates. I thought it might be useful to provide links for them in order to expedite troubleshooting driver.
We have a Flatbad Passbook printer (Globalis Pr90 Plus) that we need to use on Windows 7 machine using USB Port. In the manuals it's said that to use this printer on windows we need to setup this as the EPSON LQ driver. We have done that and the printer worked fine. After rebooting the machine, the USB Printing Support shows a yellow exclamation mark and the printer doesn't work; using troubleshoot, windows 7 is correcting the issue (Driver not found) and the printer works fine until the machine is rebooted where the problem re-occurs and same cycle again.
We just brough, a HP Officejet Pro 800 wireless, and cannot, install the driver, it said that the operating system cant support It say the system canot support it
just partition my hard drive and installed windows 7 32bit. Can't seem to get the Audio working. I got some cheap brand mother board called PC Partner. Board model: RD580AK9-A79D
I tried the old Xp drivers, wont work, contacted the manufacturer, waiting for a reply, is there anything else i can do?
I just recently upgraded Windows 7 Ultimate from Vista Home premium. When I "upgraded" though I chose to completly reinstall my OS.Anyways I used to have transparency, but when I try to get that same effect it says "The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a WDDM-compatible driver."and then when I try to troubleshoot it says "Video card driver doesn't support Aero effects" . I've tried the "Fix it" options, but that doesnt work. I just don't see how transperancy would work on vista but not with windows 7... do I seriously have to purchase a new video card?
