I was wondering if this came out yet because I checked on both Toshibas website and The Windows 7 homepage and nothing was up as of yet. My dvd drive does that recognize disks and I am not able to chose anything as an option. Other than that Windows 7 has been awesome so far

When I run Windows Update after installing Windows 7 it wants to download the "Intel driver update for Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200 BG Network Connection" driver. After it is installed the computer locks up on boot up.
I tried to install the XP driver using xp compatibility mode "Intel 802.11a/g,g Mini-PCI Driver" which came on the laptop when I bought it and I get the same result.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did a fresh install of windows 7 32bit on a toshiba Satellite P755-S5215 laptop and I have a major amount of device errors.The main driver I want to get is the ethernet controller so I can at least connect to the internet. I have a program that will search and find the best device drivers for the system but I need to connect to the internet first.I looked at the toshiba support site but there doesn't seem to be any type of drivers there that helped, I downloaded a couple and they didnt' seem to work. I don't know how to check to see what type of NIC I have to determine where I need to go to download the driver.

im running Windows 7 on a toshiba l300 lappy it orignaly had vista on it but im not in to it for many reasons so i decided to try Windows 7 every thing went well on the install the only prob i have found at the moment is that i have no driver for the built in webcam.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my os from windows vista 32 bit to windows 7 64 bit home premium a few days ago, and am having a horrendous time fixing the resolution problem. I can not seem to locate a driver from ati or toshiba themselves to support this upgrade, anything i do find does not install stating that the os is not supported. My resolution was much higher (do not recall the exact numbers) but now maxs at 1152x864.
