i am wondering how i might be able to download a picture from my windows 7 laptop to my samsung gt-s3550 mobile phone or download a picture a picture to my fujifilm finepix z digital camera i have tried everything to find and activate bluetooth but without success.

I recently purchased new PC with Windows 7. I cannot figure out how to transfer Photos from my HP Printer to My Pics Folder on my PC. When I had XP it was a simple procedure and I really wish I had it back as there are so many things on Windows 7 that confuses the hell out of me.

In my opinion it takes forever to send more than 1 file by doing that all the time. Is there another way... If i don't click revive file my phone can not find the PC.

I am having problems with some pictures which i had hidden in my old laptop (windows vista) and cant seem to get access to them on my new laptop (windows 7), all i see is a shaded out box.I have tried unhidding it using properties but still no joy. I always like to have all of the icons, and pictures in a folder display as a large icon, however, because of something I must have done, most of them are in list form, then I have to change it to Large icon. I'm not sure if they are all holding their setting after reboot either but that's another issue.But for now, how do I make all of the pics in all of my image folders display as large icons? I think I may be missing a seeing for that in explorer but I do have Folder Options in my Control Panel.

Now I have Windows 7 machine and can't use them directly.I tried to use Virtual PC XP mode to import files but Virtual PC can only handle something around 136 GB virtual hard disk, so after 6 hours of transfer it stopped... View 7 Replies View RelatedI saved my files and settings from a previous installation of windows 7 to an external hard drive using windows easy transfer. Now when I try to transfer those files and setting to my new installation I get the following message:
Windows Easy Transfer can't transfer your files and settings.
The message pops up only a few seconds after the transfer begins.Why is this?! I need those files and windows has screwed me.Everything is basically the same as before I reinstalled. Same computer, same windows 7 installation just recovered to factory settings.Same system language as before.BTW I'm on a Toshiba L505 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium.
I have tried all the usual suspects such as a clean boot and uninstalling my antivirus to rule out third party interference. I have more than enough space on both my computer and on the external hard drive. I have tried only transferring a user account a few MBs large. I have reinstalled the OS twice just in case something went wrong there. I have clicked on the .MIG file directly. All lead to the same error message.The transfer file seems to be intact and not currupt
Is there another software other than WET that can use the same transfer file that WET created to restore my files? Please help me solve this if you can or at least point me in the right direction because right now I'm clueless. I can't emphasize how important those files are to me. I've searched for solutions on several forums and it seems that this is a problem people have been having for years now and windows hasn't provided an answer yet.
An interesting note, When I reboot the laptop after trying to do the transfer, a new user account appears at startup alongside the one I normally use.This new user account has the same unique name of the user account I am trying to restore but that's where the similarity ends.All the settings for this account are default settings and empty folders.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a grand vision of grandeur. I'm planning on buying a Nokia Lumia 900 running the Windows Phone 7 on it when the phone comes out soon. Being a designer, I had to design a dock to plug in the phone to charge and sync and the idea came: what if I could use my awesome stereo and my awesome Windows 7 to make the dock into an awesome home phone?
What it would be is a mic built into the dock that is connected to the phone so when someone calls me, I don't need to pick the phone up. And if I can with the Windows Phone, I can have the audio out from the call be recognized in Windows 7 as in audio input and I can have my puter's audio output to my awesome stereo to hear the call from my speakers.
The stickler is, as is with every grand vision of grandeur, can it happen? I don't know for sure what to do to get the audio out from the phone to connect with Windows 7.
I was able to activate my Windows 7 Home Premium through the phone method. However recently I attempted to activate Windows 7 on another computer and after calling the automated number and reading the code, the system is unable to verify it. However I noticed something strange. Upon trying different activation keys, the 9 segment code to be read back to the automated system doesn't change. No matter what activation key I use, the code remains the same. Could this mean something, as to why I am unable to activate my copy of Windows 7?
