i got this bluescreen sometimes i run BSOD dump and never complete. Had to perform Reinstall, reinstall completed when Restarting after reinstall, it will not boot, it gives me Microsoft loading bar then BOOM cuts rightout.. I attempted another reinstall same thing.. So I disabled automatic restart and this is the exact error: BSOD: 0x0000007b (0x80786B58, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I saw in another forum possible registry adjustment could cure it however, it would require for me to take SSD out, which I really would like to avoid if possible, not an easy job for me with this smaller netbook.... I also tried changing SATA Drive from AHCI to ATA, and vice versa, no luck.. Stuck.

It all started when I downloaded a torrent and got a virus. I was able to boot up in safe mode and remove the virus with malwarebytes but it didnt fix the BSOD. I can log in but its way slower than normal but as soon as i try to run a program or change a setting my computer crashes. The error message i get is "stop: 0x000008e (0x000005, 0x834012e3, 0x9f77f75c, 0x00000000)".

I have a problem with my pc.. HP pavilon dv4- 1318TU having 4 gb ram and 320 hard disk, dore2 deo processer ... now im going to explian every thing... my pc hav windows vista inbuilt.... i upgraded... to win7 ultimate.. manytimes.. and now this time 1 yr later... i installed win7 home premium... 3 days b4.. and now too.... when ever i open any application .. this appears... THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO START CORRECTLY (0X0000005).CLICK OK TOCLOSE THE APPLICATION ANTIVIRUS is not working too.. i did disck check.... NO ERRORS ... now m trying to install a window AGAIN... it is not working toooo.

We recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium after having issues w/a yearly upgraded antiviral software that suddenly wouldn't work w/Vista. No problems, then one evening while in an open live video chat forum it crashed, never had a problem with this before. Have gotten the BSOD since then. Currently only works in safe mode. Ran repair, ran restore previous, nothing works. When he loaded Windows 7, he got updates but I don't think he checked for updates with the drivers. Also, he was in the slow process of pulling off alot of family pics as they are taking up too much space.

i have been having some problems latley. Computer was running fine with windows xp but decided that i wanted windows 7.. after installing i have had nothing but trouble. i keep geting blue screen of death error with this 0x0000001a 0x00041284 0x0174f001 0x00000000 0xc0802000. i have updated all my drivers and now i am stuck on what my next step should be. any help would be much aprectied. here is my event viewer log file.

I turned on my laptop and as usual started checking my work e-mails, suddenly I realized that I was not getting search results on recent e-mails, and I noticed that at the bottom, in activity bar, it said "Windows Search is not running". It suggested that I use the wizard to fix it, I downloaded and ran it, it then reset the search service and deleted all my past indexes. Why would my index damage/stop by itself?

I just bought a computer with windows 7 64 bit. This is my first experience with 7 and 64 bit. I needed to download java so selected the 64 bit version of 6 update 18. I went to control panel and opened java to turn off automatic updates but there is no update tab. Is this have to do with 64 bit? Do I need the 32 bit? How do I stop auto updates?

I have a Lenovo G560, about 8 months old. Lately, after about 2 hours use, it begins to get slower and slower until in the end it freezes.I have de fragged, run virus scans and done a registry cleaner etc, but it make no difference. It does not appear to be getting over heated as the fan kicks in and out, not permanently running.

the other two ( won't mention names ) did not reply in a week's time. my computer went nuts from one day to the next. Internet videos freeze but i hear the audio. i have "google" as my homepage but it keeps changing to babylon... i've removed it but it keeps coming back. also, i try typing anything and have to wait for cursor to catch up to what i'm typing... i get the following message every time i switch from one webpage to another.. It started automatically in the middle of the night and nearly 24 hrs later it's still going. I tried to stop it and a window pops up saying it can't be stopped. Every 5 min or so the computer restarts and the Startup Repair continues. I've tried to stop it during the startup with alt F2 but I don't get any choices such as Safe Start, only Start Windows Normally.

Having a BSOD error on boot and simply put MS support says it is a RAM issue and when I run any other diag it says HDD issue.History is the machine suffered the fake hard disk errors bug a few months ago and we thought we removed that completely, then a few days ago the pc did an update and after auto restart has not worked the same.The machine boots fine till it gets to starting windows and then BSOD.Have tried /mbr - replaced fine but no difference?Have tried AVG Boot drive and scan - Found a few sus files and removed them still no difference?Have tried chkdsk /r - this found no errors Also cannot boot in any of the modes at all?

3 days ago, I started getting these 'flickering' pop ups at the top left hand corner of my screen. Some are whole ads and others are just bits and pieces like a 'puzzle'. They are non-stop and especially when I am on my AOL 'Welcome/home page'. I can hardly read what is displayed on my left screen.

I have Windows 7 Home, 64bit, 4 G of RAM, GTX 285, Intel Core 2 Quad I had recently installed trial version of Kapersky . I had an earlier message after trying to restart and a black screen with the message bad image sector or something like that. It started several times before. Now it will not start and I had to disable the automatic startup and I got the above messege. I cannot do the system restore because it just won't and I hear Kapersky sometimes prevents this. No detecable disk errors have been noted but it still will not even boot into safe mode. This process just keeps repeating and nothing seems to be helping. I had this message before when my screen flickered before but the computer kept running. It has restarted automatically before also but with no problems. My system will also, not restore to another check point. I am ready to reinstall windows.

I am using the auto-hide feature for the taskbar and every time when there's a change to one of my programs (for example somebody sent me an instant message on my messenger or a program has been downloaded on firefox) the taskbar will automatically appear with the icon of the program glowing in orange. Is there a way to prevent that reappearing action?
I have tried tweaking the registry as well as gpedit.msc but still couldn't.

I log onto a site using IE9 (for some reason this particular site doesn't work properly on other browsers) and it kept remembering my username and password. I went into the internet options and changed the the autocomplete setting to not remember passwords or data added in forms, as well as for cookies. I also deleted the browsing history for those fields (pwd, form data, cookies, history). The browser still remembers the info however, and auto logs me in.
