Don't See Network Controller In Device Manager?
Jun 12, 2012I had a problem with the computer after a storm it turns to not have internet. After I checked and saw I could'n connect to internet through the modem with a broadband connection. Than checked Device Manager and there was not a network controller and everything was in order no question marks or yellow rectangles. Than tried to re install windows 7. After I tried to install the realtek driver for me LAN it show up the message The RealTek Network Adapter/Controller was not found.

Jul 12, 2012I recently purchased a Logitech USB headset, and it worked fine for the first few days I had it. I noticed, however, about two days after the purchase that it failed to work. My USB mouse worked fine, however, so I figured it was the headset. I discarded the headset and continued using the built-in microphone. Later, however, when I had to restart my system in order to install an update, my mouse stopped working as well (they work fine on other computers). I looked to see what the problem was in the Device Manager, and my Universal Serial Bus driver was apparently damaged.
As well as my Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller and my Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller. I attempted to uninstall, reboot my system, and then let Windows automatically reinstall the drivers, but they always fail to do so in the middle of the installation process. I then attempted to do a system restore the day before both the Windows update and then before the problems with the USB headset, but the problem persisted. If all else fails, I might have to reformat, but I do not want to have to result to that extreme since I cannot salvage anything of value onto an external hard drive.
The PCI to USB Controller has the error: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
The OpenHCD USB controller has the error: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
The Universal Serial Bus USB Controller has the error: The Drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28). The system cannot find the file specified. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

Uninstalled The Marvell 61xx RAID Controller In The Device Manager But No Change?
Apr 9, 2011I am using an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard and Windows 7 Professional. I am having a problem with my external (esata) disk drive being recognized by the OS. It used to work and now it don't?? During boot up I see the drive in the bios messages on my screen. Also when I look in device manager it shows the drive and says this device is working properly. However, when I click on "computer" its not there and no software program such as backup finds the drive either. I have tried uninstalling the drive in device manager and then rebooting. No luck? I am not sure when it quit working or why. Its not the drive as I have tried more than one and they are recognized when used in the USB port. I have uninstalled the Marvell 61xx RAID controller in the device manager also but no change?

Feb 12, 2012I have recently bought a native instruments kontrol S2 (it's a DJ controller). I have downloaded the drivers (it connects to PC via a usb 2.0 port) updated my mother board and chipset drivers However after different periods of time the controller freezes and I get a message saying ' usb device not recognised' also when I open device manager the drivers are no longer visible. If I restart the controller it works fine for a while (can be anything from a few minutes to a couple of hours).

Jan 7, 2013my dv7 6178bus can't update its driver software. it was reset to the default factory settings when my friend gave it to me. The software on the drivers is from 2006 and refuses to update manually or with the option in device manager.

Windows 7 Usb Camera Device Shows Up In Device Manager But Not Computer
May 31, 2012Have recently purchased a small usb inspection snake camera with led light and when testing it plugged it into two desktops computers (one xp pro not sure of the other as it was a network work computer) It automatically loaded the drivers and brought up a screen automatically with the realtime image.(no driver disc came with it). However plugging into my windows 7 64bit sony laptop it signals a connection beep, loaded drivers automatically but wouldn't open or show up on my computer disc manager as an external usb source to click on. It does however show up on device manager as a usb camera and when I unplug and replug in it disappears and reappears so I know I have the right camera (not the lap top webcam inbuilt one that shows USB 2 Camera). Have tried updating drivers automatically and uninstalling it etc. Need it to work on the lap top so it can act as the movable screen for it?

May 29, 2011I have an acer aspire 5610z and i know it is not compatable with windows 7 according to acer but everything works apart from the audio!when i go onto device manager there is no audio tab but when i go to system> there is a "high definition audio controller" which i have been trying to install the audio drivers to because the usual audio device is not there in device manager.I have done a fresh install and updated the majority of the drivers but i cannot find the audio one anywhere ive tried downloading the vista one and running it in compatibility mode and it is a realtek one that is reccomended.
