I am using Publisher 2003 on Windows 7. No problem creating it but when I click View as Web Page and click to navigate to a particular page nothing happens. Everything worked before I Viewed as Web Page.

- I have tried setting internet explorer 8 (I tried MSIE 9 too out of desperation but have now uninstalled it) MSIE8 > Tools > Internet Options > Fonts > Latin Based > WebPage Font = Arial
- I have also tried Outlook2003 > Tools > Options > Mail Format > Message format >
Word 2003 to Edit email messages. But this Word 2003 is not used when just viewing an email.

None of the above seem to have any effect on how an new HTML email is displayed (if it does not contain its own font).
I created some Christmas cards with music thru embedded midi files and could view and hear everything until today. Now when I try to viiew one of them, or go to any site that uses WMP for midis, I get an error message that IE has stopped working and will notify me of a solution. If I remove the midi file from the page, then the page functions properly. I went to my "Manage Add-Ons" and WMP is enabled. What else can I do?

I load firefox, same issue. I load Crome, it worked for 1 day then same issue. It used to login in fine last week. It logs in fine on my 2 other PCs and my Kindlefire.I have checked for viruses with Avast and A-Malware Bytes in safe mode - nothing. These 2 pick up 98% of stuff. Personally I dont think its a virusn IE9 - Deleted browsing history, cookies, temp internet files, everything under the Geneeral/Browsing History section. Did a disk cleanup, put the site inthe trusted zone, turned off popup blocker just in case, Cleared SSL state, Reset IE9. Zippo

However, it keeps giving me the message "The publisher of this program couldn't be verified", with options to "Open" the file (which doesn't work because it's an incomplete file; I guess it blocked the download), "Learn more..." which is useless and "Cancel". There's no option to download the file, even though I know I can trust it and it's a file I want.

When I open my XP mode virtual window and attempt to run a program, I get a message that says "unknown publisher", and talks about digital signature cannot be verified. Is there some way to tell virtual XP that "program X" is ok? In this particular instance, the program involved is a DOS program.I do not get that message when running the same program on a real XP machine.

Please Rerun The Setup." but it doesn't matter how many times I rerun the setup, I get that same error! I have no other users on my computer and I am the ONLY person who uses the computer that Publisher is currently installed on! I need to open a file in Publisher so I can make a "fan of the month" certificate for on of my Facebook fan pages. View 1 Replies View Relatedi have an intel i5 2400 cpu, combined with 4gb ddr3 memory. mobo is dh67bl - revision 3. no gpu installed.power supply is via corsair vx450.problem i been facing:
1) bsod saying that a clock interrupt wasnt recd. [url]
2) bsod saying: page fault in non paging area. couldnt grab a screenshot for this.
3) display randomly goes off for a split second and reappears.. but the color of the panes go blue (i havent chosen blue. my setting is for clear pane.)[url] this error solves itself after random number of hours/mins
4) display vanishes for a split second and reappears, and a small balloon at the bottom right corner prompts that the display driver had stopped working.
5) system plain hangs/stops responding. randomly happens.. but more so while on Internet, or after hrs of it idling, i come back to the comp and try to scroll the content onscreen.sometime it revives from the stuck state as if nothing happened, sometimes i have to give it a cold boot.
6) while reading forums with blue bands.. the blue bands kinda form blurry bars which stretch till the end of the screen. i tried to grab a screenshot but the screenshots were clean. the bands moved as i dragged the image about.
7) also, my comp's display went off one day and within a second came back with a blue-ish hue. it restored itself but again has gone back to blue-ish.
other relevant information:
windows 7 x64
no other os resides/installed on system
full retail version
os was installed in july.
When I click to go to the next page on a web site it takes me to the sites home page instead and in order to get to the correct next page I have to backspace and click NEXT again.

View 3 Replies View Relateddiscovered a way to change the Windows 7 file and folder view to "List" view instead of the default Win 7 "Details" view?In WinXP, you simply went to Folder Options dialog box >> "View" tab and it allowed you to change the view for an entire drive with one click. Win 7 does not do this.much prefer "List" view, but the only way to change it is folder-by-folder which becomes aggravating after several dozen folder changes.Plus, once you have changed the file view inside of a folder to "List" view... if you change the folder name, every file and folder, no matter how deep, inside that re-named folder will return to "Details" view.hat a PITA...I have Googled this and searched for some time, but have come up with no answer, I thought I might ask the folks at Tom's and see what we come up with.

I am trying to open links within emails and they automatically open with Internet Explorer and not my default browser Opera. I have changed all the settings I can in default programs -associate a file type-but cannot change settings in the protocols which are defaulted to IE for HTTP, FTP & HTTPs - could this be the problem and if so is there a way to fix it?

This time I got a message about no log file found so I tried again with a /L on the end of the command line. This time it started fine and then threw up an error 1711. run Office 2003 on Windows 7? All i get is the audio and no video. i get a black screen that says 1: Analog input cannot display this video. All the other older games i have run fine except this one. I have a Dell™ 1707FP AIO Color Monitor. I have tried every compatibility mode you can think of but it keeps doing the same thing. Not sure if it's the OS or the monitor. Looked thru the monitor manual and could find nothing relating to it.

I clink on 'address@somewhere.com' and it opens a 'Locate Link Browser' box. I'll stress here that I am not having any problem opening web links in the same email messages, only email addresses.

I can open this program and use all functions on the menu bar but the second I touch an email it hangs. It even downloads new emails without problems. I used the installation disk to see if I could do a repair but my system hangs when trying to do a repair or re-install. I used the control panel and removed the complete office package and reinstalled but it stills hangs when I try accessing my emails.I have to restart my computer in order to get Outlook to close. All other office programs seem to work with no problems.
