I have Realtek HD Audio sound manager software that came with my gigabyte board and I hate it. Is there another sound manager program I can replace this one with? My sound card is the same, onboard one (realtek I guess) so maybe a program that is compatible?
Sorry For Start Thread Again. But This Is My Work (Send to My Teacher)>> I Need Replace New Sound Into My Videos File. Example I Don't Need Old Sound At 0:10 - 0:15 In My Videos And I Need Replace It With New Sound [e.g. MP3/WAV]
what is Program Manager, and why does it always keep me from restarting? shutdown works fine, but when i choose restart, i get a message saying Program Manager won't close.
I have been noticing this in the task manager "InputPersonalization.exe" I have never seen this before. I have been using the On Screen keyboard after a coffee accident and was wondering if that's just a process from that. I have done some research and it's to do with Tablet pc's well this is a desktop.
I downloaded and installed my GPS software from Tomtom. It starts everytime windows starts, and there is nowhere in the preferences that dictates that startup or allows me to disable. If there a free program startup manager type program out there that anyone is using?
Everytime i start my computer and after putting my password, at the desktop, a box appears saying that program manager stops responding and it is needed to restart the pc. it does it ( by himself ) and it is a cicle that dont stop, only if i manually close
Is this a normal Windows 7 error? I want to install League Of Legends but after I pressed yes to Administrator permissions to the program, then there is nothing, apart from Task manager says it is running, but I can not see anything on the desktop? I cant stop the program in task manager, which I think is a little weird?
i am in the process of setting up my audio preferences but i'm confused about various aspects of windows 7 audio settings in the device/sound manager. my computers are part of a recording studio setup, and as such, one of my computers has an maudio 1010lt audio interface card. as my studio is also an entertainment setup, i began to investigate if win 7 has some kind of audio "profile" manager, whereby i might be able to select various "devices" or outputs that would automatically be selected when various applications are started. for instance, when i use my daw(reaper), i would like win 7 to automatically select the maudio card as the in/out as the maudio outputs(8) are connected to a patchbay, and are normalled to be connected to an analog mixer. however, if i am listening to audio on the net, like Internet etc, i would like the mobo onboard stereo(front) outputs to be selected by the os, as they are connected to a pair of standard computer powered speakers, as i do not want the mixer powered on during regular listening. and then there is the movie thing. since my mobo has stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 as well as s/pdif output jacks,(and input), from what i understand, the s/pdif output must be used for sound surround as the onboard realtec chips decode dvd etc to the s/pdif outputs, which i would like to connect to a soundsurround reciever, with 5.1 speaker setup, of which the front speakers are used for standard stereo listening..anyway, as i looked at the device/sound manager screen, i saw an "hdmi" device in the list.(see screenshot). well, i don't have anything in the computer that has an hdmi output. so, i am curious. can anyone tell me what this "hdmi" device is or what it is referring to?
I am using acer aspire 7220 laptop with Win7 OS. I found a red cross near my volume icon and I see "No audion output installed" message. Also, When I checked in my device manager there is no sound, video and game controller. I see only three devices which are marked with yellow symbo. I have looke several forums regarding this issue but none solved the problem
Can anyone recommend a good sound editing program? I have been using Audacity but it is driving me nuts! It is SLOW and CLUNKY and frequently freezes and crashes on my system (Win 7 64-bit). There has GOT to be a better sound editor out there.
currently i own a dell studio xps, running ms windows 7 home premium 64-bit sp1.i have the following playback devices, as listed by windows:the problem is that the sound only works with one application at a time, meaning, if i open itunes first, and then skype, only the sound on itunes will work. if i close both, then open skype first, and itunes second, then only the sound from skype can be heard. this has happened with every program so far, such as google chrome (watching a video on Internet), video games, and vlc media player. i've had this problem for as long as i can remember, as this computer is fairly new.i'm willing to divulge any more information required.
I have Realtek sound drivers configured with my windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and music is great, but when attempting to watch video program, there's no sound and I was looking for information or configuration set up.
Occasionally when a program crashes the last sound playing, whether it be part of a sound effect in a game, a small part of a film from a media player, or even a standard windows sound effect, will recur endlessly after the program has been closed until the computer is restarted. The sound is not displayed on the windows mixer, although it displays clearly on my dedicated sound card's audio levels display.
I have tried disabling and re-enabling the relevant sound devices, switching between onboard audio and dedicated audio, and attempting to restart the windows sound services, however I have found nothing aside from a restart that will actually rid me of the recurring sound (things such as entering/exiting sleep mode do not help, I have not tried to hibernate the computer, but if I'm going to do that I might aswell just restart properly).
I am installing more RAM in my system, and want to monitor the page file for improvement/reduction in size and use. Other than performance monitor, can I see the page file in either task manager or resource monitor?
I just bought a new ASUS computer with Windows 7. I have a Macbook Pro and would like to transfer my photos and music onto my new computer. I have 2 external hard drives that work perfectly fine on my mac as well as other PCs. When I plug either of my external hard drives in they are recognized in device manager and say they are working properly but are not recognized in disk manager or under my computer...
i just downloaded a windows 7 theme from deviantart, however the start menu doesn't chance and i asked the author of it and he tells me i need to chance the explorer.exe with the one that came with his theme.
But i can't replace it because windows 7 isn't allowing me to do it because of lack of rights. wich i should have since im the only user on my computer and with fully administrative rights.
I also have taken ownership of the file, but i still cannot replace the original explorer.exe file
here is a link to the theme how it should look like: Link to the theme: Clearscreen Sharp for Windows7 by *K-Johnson on deviantART
the hard drive failed on my laptop so have got a new one and I had 2 system image back ups. When I tried to reinstall the most recent one it did not find it from the external hard drive. So I installed the old system image. In the new one I am able to mount the .vhd file in Disk Management and see it is the exact same size as my c: drive. Is it possible to replace the contents of of my c: drive with the .vhd contents?
In the case of sfc /scannow CBS.log showing there are corrupt files and the MUI is also corrupt, where do we get hold of clean MUIs and where do we put them when we've found them? I've tried searching on my Win 7 dvd with no luck. It would obviously be preferable to replace the corrupt MUI rather than just the dll or exe, in case corruption happens again. I was under the impression that sfc /scannow would scan the dvd if it couldn't find a clean MUI and replace from there, but maybe not?
I'm trying to connect an ipod touch to itunes and it says it does not recognize the device then it says to retry and i did. Then it says to replace the device. How do I do this ?
I've recently purchased a new Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Professional. Most of my software is dated and needs to run on Virtual XP which is not as virtual as I'd hoped. I hate it so much that I want to switch back to Windows XP Professional (by far the best platform produced) and I know I will lose at least 4gb of usable memory but so be it. Does any know how I get XP installed?
