I installed yesterday the latest build of windows 7 ( build 7264) but i don't have any network connection. First of all, my network adapter is on-board, the ethernet cable from the router connects to the ethernet port from motherboard. My motherboard is old, a Micro-star Ms-6575, but it worked always with xp or vista.
I have been trying for 3 days now to download patches from star wars the old republic and my computer keeps on crashing before the download is complete i have also had this crash while playing battle field 3 but it only happens after a while of playing. Also my computer crashes when i am not there i will come home to the log in screen
Recently I start having random DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSODs generally after exiting Star Trek Online. I used to have a TDR 0x116 BSOD error which I solved by reverting to a previous version of my GPU driver and deactivating the TDR from registry. The new 0x9F error happens randomly, yet not while playing the game, generally few minutes after exiting the game. Any idea which driver/program can be the source for this error.
This is a game that I used to play when I was a kid. I love it! I have lost my CD so I decided buy this game from steam. After I installed the game, when I try to run it, I can see the republic commando start-up but then the game crashes. No error messages or anything. I can not even get to the menu. I have Windows 7 64-bit and my video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670.
I recently haven't been able to boot my windows 7. I get sfsync02.sys error everytime. Do you guys know of any bootable software able to remove that driver before startup? I tried parangon safety suite 9 but it would not recognize my HDD .
So I want to play Star Trek Armada 2, which came out around 2001. I have a new desktop running 64-bit windows 7. I installed the game just fine, but when I attempt to play it, it gives me an error to make sure there's at least 50 MB free on the hard drive (there is) and that virtual memory is enabled (again, did some checking and i believe it is). Is there such a thing as a future compatibility issue? As in, is my new computer too new for my game? If the system requirements are met shouldn't it play no matter how awesome the computer is?
I recently purchased the Dell XPS 14z and it has been working fine, however when I take it out to work (where there's no wifi connections) a red 'x' now appears on the wifi icon in the task tray. Usually it just shows an orange star and is essentially 'pending' connections. When I try and use my BlackBerry Bold 9900 to connect using the mobile internet it says that it can't connect as the wifi radio may be off? This hasn't happened before and I've tried everything to troubleshoot it with no luck.
Laptop is connected to wifi but still shows yellow star and grey bars? Title says it all. I've reinstall the drivers, changed the settings in the registry editor that someone on another forum suggested, delete all the wifi accounts and rebooted the computer. No errors in device manager, the Windows wifi connection software is the only one running. Internet is working but it wont allow me to setup a vpn. I've rebooted everything.
I just noticed that no matter what wireless network I connect to it still does this. Also, I connected to a wireless network that this laptop never connects to and it never asks what kind of network it is. It just sets it as a public network. My other laptop connects to both fine.
I have a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook with windows 7 home premium 64-bit. My problem is lately any time i play some games like minecraft or star trek online after about 5 to 10 mins my screen goes blank with black and white or greenish white vertical lines going across my screen. Im not sure where to start or
I had a 2GB Micro SD card in my Android phone that was getting loaded up with music and pictures/videos, so I picked up an 8GB card to replace it. I put the card into the adapter to fit regular SD card readers, which my laptop has and began copying the files from the 2 GB card to my hard drive. When I was done and I went to copy the data on to the new 8 GB card, it said it was copying 5.29 GB of data? The files that were on the 2 GB card were almost all music mp3's, with a few pics and videos thrown in, but they only made up a tiny part of that total. The only thing I could think of was if the files on the 2GB card were somehow zipped and became unzippped, but then wouldn't they have gotten much bigger than a little over double the original size?
I wanted to format my micro SD card with my phone but its failed, also tried formatting it with my computer and its also saying the windows is unable to complete the format. What should I do in dis case?
how to install kaspersky internet security 2011 and trend micro in one PC. I receive trend micro one year free license but i already have kaspersky 130 days.
I was given an case for an HP computer a while back. It seems only one or two years old. It has most of the original case parts within it, along with some wires. Now, a friend of mine has an smaller computer in a Mini-ITX case, and has been looking to upgrade both his power supply and his graphics card. However, most graphics cards don't seem small enough to fit within his case (height wise, at least. He has enough room in both length and width), and there's only a select number of Mini-ITX power supplies on Newegg (and the highest wattage is 400w). Logically, I figured he'd be able to take my extra case and fit everything else in there, but I was unsure if it would fit properly.
I have a Rocketfish Micro-usb bluetooth adapter. I'm having real issues with my Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
- The Bluetooth device installs correctly but cannot find any devices
- Searching will go on forever and I have tried over 12 different bluetooth devices
- When opening up "Show Bluetooth Devices" windows, it never loads
- It works fine on the Windows Developer Preview (minor bugs)
Things I have already tried:
- Updating the drivers - Updating Windows 7 - Running the drivers in compatibility mode for all other versions - Searched Google
I'm out of ideas and am in serious need of help. I'm trying to mainly use the adapter with the Turtlebeach Delta Force Headset, but it will not read any other devices as well as the headset. Here is the image of the "Show Bluetooth Devices" Menu. This is after loading for about an hour or so.
