Internet Connection Is Strange After Installing Wifi Usb Stick

I connected it, installed drivers (Rlink or RaLink, basically chinese noname) and tried to set up the hotspot. It worked, but my android phone was stuck at "Obtaining IP address". So I installed Connectify, set up Internet connection sharing from the main adapter to the wireless adapter and it worked fine.
But since then the internet connection is wonky, for example right now I'm downloading 350MB file for the fourth time because it had always been interrupted. And the download usually stops for 10-15 seconds, then downloads really fast and stops again. I use Backblaze for backup and I can see the the average upload speed is 0.13mbit/s, before it was cca 0.35mbit/s.

I connect to my home wifi and it says connected, but there is no internet connection.I noticed that network adapter shows "wireless network connection 2" with that "2" at the end of name. I guess there is a problem. If I rename it to just "wireless network connection" it says it already exists. But cannot see it, and use it! Can anyone tell me how to reset it or somehow switch to "wireless network connection" without "2"?
Also when I type ipconfig/all I get this:

I am facing trouble with windows 7 and my internet connections. Facts are I have 02 sony Vaio with windows7 start edition and they are connected to a Apple Airport router (one at the office, a Time Capsule, and another at home, an Airport Extreme). They connect fine at first, but both keep loosing connection every 5 minutes.At the office I have a MacBook that does not disconnect and a Windows XP that also does not disconnect.

I've had a wifi network set up at my house for several months now, and no problems. If I couldn't connect. I always just unplugged the router for 10 seconds and was able to connect. Suddenly today, I can't connect to the internet, but my wifi network appears to be fine. It says I have excellent signal strength and that I'm connected but I can't connect to the internet. When I go to the program that came with the router and hit "repair".
It says that I am connected to the network, but that my internet connection is broken...??? I tried using another device to see if I could connect with internet, my ipod touch and it also said that I was connected to the wifi network...yet it could not connect with the internet. It never had a popup that said anything, it acted like it was trying to connect but just never did.

I'm switching from landline ISP to mobile ISP (dongle). So I'm thinking of sharing 3G dongle (ZTE MF190) internet connection with other PC, device etc, through D-Link modem+router(DSL-2640B) that I use for landline internet connection before. Is this possible? I notice that I cannot use homegroup via D-Link anymore after connecting to 3G dongle. I've tried ICS (internet connection sharing) but to no avail.

I've set up my internet-connected laptop (Acer Aspire One with Windows 7 Starter) as wifi hotspot. The hotspot works to the extent that it lets another computer connect, but it does not provide (pass through) the internet access I have (via 3G USB modem). Windows tells me not to unplug or power off machine. But I think I have no internet connection, so how can Windows install 9 updates?
In "Wireless Network Connection Status" I saw:
IPV4 Connectivity No Network Access
IPV6 Connectivity No Network Access
Media (something) Disabled
I cannot connect to my wireless network. Other computers on the home wireless network work fine. This makes me suspect a failed wireless adapter card in my PC. I did not check Device Manager for a bad adapter before I ordered "Shutdown".
Can I power off the PC anyway? Will something bad happen if I do? If I shutdown and power back up, what can I do to fix the "No Network Access" problems and go on line? Troubleshoot adapter through Device Manager? Any other ideas or precautions?

I installed a new wireless adapter yesterday in the hope of increasing my internet speed. After installing the driver for the adapter I realised that my internet was no longer working. I can still see the connection but it is limited and doesnt allow me to connect to the internet. I also had a system up date the night before and hadn't been on the internet since that happened so am unsure if this has any part in it.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for both the adapters i have to no avail, as well as plugging my pc into a laptop and using internet connection sharing which also doesnt work.If i run a network repair i end up with two problems found:
1)There might be a problem with the driver for the local area connection adapter
2)There might be a problem with the driver for the wireless network connection adapter They both have yellow signs with exclamation marks next to them.If i type ipconfig/all into the cmd line I get:

Not a real problem but just wanna know how this is possible. I have 3-usb ports and they are all working when attaching mouse or usb stick or external usb harddrive and they are all usb2.0 ports.
I bought a sweex wifi usb adapter, plugged it in usb port and I heard ... ding dong... after 1 second ding dong etc etc. So it sees something and a second later it doesn't. It ended up with "unkown device" in device manager. and device manager refreshes all the time just as if it's plugged in and out all the time. So I went back to store and there it's working fine.
I tried 2 of the 3 usb ports end there's the same problem. But when I plug in in 3rd usb port there isn't a problem at all!! It finds drivers automatically from windows update and wifi works. But if I plug it in another usb-port it just doesn't work

I have - A Laptop with Windows 7 UltimateA Linksys Wireless Router with ports which are all Ethernet ports (i.e. no USB ports).A Tata Photon Plus (which is basically a Wireless USB Modem)I have been trying to setup a wireless network to have my handheld devices connect to the internet.I have - Connected the Ethernet port of my laptop to one of the Ethernet Ports of my Wireless Router.I have connected my Wireless USB Modem to my laptop (as my Router does not have a USM port).My Questions While I have been able to setup the Wireless Network, the Network shows "No Internet Access". I have successfully connected my two Windows7 machines via local network (Ethernet) - it worked automatically, no setup was needed. Everything is fine, for example I'm able to use a share mouse utility via the local network and control both computers with the same mouse. However once the network is swtiched on, my stick modem mobile 3G internet connection is shut down (the browser reports DNS name not resolved error). If I turn off the router the internet connection immediately returns. I tried to disable the firewall but to no avail.

I have a question regarding installation of Win 7 via USB stick.My mobo is an Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen 3 now I can successfully start a Win 7 install but when it gets to the point where it needs to load the drivers for my hard drive it gives me an error telling me that a device driver is missing. I can only imagine it is the driver for my motherboards SATA controllers because when I run the install off a CD it detects my hard drives but when I do it from my USB 3 stick (on the front panel of my case) it tells me it can't find my hard drive. Does anyone know how to insert the correct drivers into my USB stick? Does anyone know what drivers I need?

installing Win 7 x64 from a bootable USB I made with WinToFlash on a Asus X401A.I know the stick is bootable because it loads windows files but after I chose language and keyboard and press install it says: "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now."I know this is a known problem but I have tried all the solution I could find, Change from USB port 3.0 to 2.0, use Ultra Iso to write Win images to stick (Win 7 32,64, Vista 32,64) but to no avail.
Note: last night when I used WinToFlash for the first time to transfer Win to the stick, instead of copying the files manually after I format the stick, I managed to install Windows but the USB ports didn't work at all, I tried 3 different sticks and nothing and I didn't have any drivers on the HDD and with no way to transfer anything on the notebook I fuleshly decided to reinstall Windows but I ran into the same "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" error.On top of all of that the previous installation of windows wont boot, it says " windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause" and Repair your computer from the stick doesn't work.

I am using Internet Modem USB Stick with my computer. My computer is Windows 7 Professional. I have a problem with removing the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer. When I insert the Internet Modem USB Stick into my computer and then I wish to remove it, I really can't do so. I, however, can remove the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer easily in Windows XP.I think it will reduce my Internet Modem USB Stick Lifetime and there probably should effect my computer lifetime if I try to remove the USB Stick without allowing to reject.

I am using a nokia E66 to connect to the internet at home. My pc at home is running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I am currently using nokia pc suite 7.1.40.1. All the software installed without any problems. The problem that I am having is that after I connect to the internet, I can only roughly download / upload about 5MB of data and the connection will time out. I do not get any error messages that is did timeout. The only way I know this is that I stop seeing data being transferred in Network properties.
I then open my e-mail client to see If I can connect with a POP account and then I get an error saying it could not connect to the e-mail account. I then have to disconnect and reconnect and try again. This does not seem to affect web browsing though, only when I am downloading files. Like Steam will start update and stop, windows updates will start download and stop and so on.
I initially thought it was a problem with the network operator, but when I boot back in xp (my pc is set up to dual boot between xp and 7) every thing works fine. No download time outs. Is it the nokia software that is not supporting 7 100% yet or am I missing something else?

I am trying to set up a workgroup between two Windows 7 Pro computers over a wifi connection. I have set the workgroup name to be identical on both machines (Lastname-Home), but neither machine can see the other. Network discovery and sharing are turned on. From my googleing and forum searching (here and on other forums) all I can find is people saying that if the workgroup names match you should be able to see the PCs.

I just upgraded to the beta version of Windows 7 form Vista. I am now (unable) to print off of our local network via wi-fi. I am fairly computer literate, I have tried everything. The internet works fine with my Belkin N+ router...but I cannot print via wi-fi thru my hard lined computer, the one with (Windows 7). Can anyone please help? On my new Lenovo V570, I've been having an issue where it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes to connect to my local network.It will show all the available networks in the list, and either if I wait, or if I try to click my automatic network and click "connect", it still takes a large chunk of time.This happens on all of my saved connections, as well as any public connections I try to access.I believe my wireless is run through Intel My Wi-fi, though for some reason the icon is no longer in my icon tray.

On these occasions, while watching Hulu on my HTPC, which only connects via WiFi on my Router (Cisco E3000), the movies were interrupted by a loss of connection, indicated by the white tray icon turning orange, and when expanding it's menu, the connection bearing the name of my network had disappeared.On the first failure, the flashing light on the network adapter (Belkin F5D8055) continued flashing as usual, but the steady light was out, until pressing the connection button. The second time around, both light remained lit as normal, but in both instances my network connection on the network adapter's tray icon had disappeared. Using the WiFi's network adapter's connection button, and the router's PBC button didn't solve the problem, nor anything else that I tried.Since the WiFI connection is primarily for internet access, rather than connecting computers, and that shutting off my desktop doesn't usually effect the HTPC's internet connection, it seems obvious that the connection is managed by just the router, adapter and HTPC, so I fail to understand the relationship between the vanishing network and the loss of internet connection.When these failures occurred, they only lasted for ~ 10-15 minutes, and then were restored on their own, with no more apparent reason than the outage had. So far, this is only an annoyance, but I fear that it is an omen of greater problems on the horizon, and I have no idea of how to isolate the origin of the problem..

I connect with a broadband dongle. Sometimes it's disconnecting me after a couple of minutes - other times I'm OK for a couple of hours. No problem getting back on-line - only takes a minute, but it's damned annoying.I contacted the ISP (Indian call centre) and they were of no help. Said they could see the frequent disconnections but that there was no breaks in their service.

I just got a new laptop with Windows 7. Initial set-up went fine but I cannot connect to router. I have a MAC using the wi-fi and I can also connect an iPhone, a Linux, and another Acer laptop using Windows 7...but the new laptop is not working. My connection is showing on the menu but once I enter the security key, I get a message saying it cannot connect.I restarted the router, went over the whole router set-up again, connected the Ethernet cable to the laptop while trying to set-up the wi-fi, but after numerous trials, nothing worked.
