Inspiron 6000 Drivers Download Windows 7?

Just installed on my dell 6000 everything is fine accept the audio does not work. Anyone have any drivers. I have tried these AUD_allOS_x5511_v5511_PV_IDTGUI_v005 with no luck.

Installed Windows 7 and all going quite well. One problem which I can't resolve - the Fn/F3 (battery) and Fn/F10 (open disc drive) do not work. Fn/F2 to deactive wireless is OK.

I'm assuming it's a driver problem but I could be definitely wrong with this thinking.

Anybody got an idea?

No there are not any windows 7 drivers for this laptop

The first thing that you should try is to connect using the wired network and apply all updates. It's possible that a driver may have been added that was not part of the retail package (this certainly happens with printers).

The second thing that you should be aware of is that there are a number of different chipsets used for the wireless network in the Inspiron so the following link may or may not help. (A solution is given in the last but one post.)
