IPv4 And IPv6 Not Connected - No More Internet Access
Nov 3, 2012
I recently had a sound problem on the internet in google chrome ( no sound at all although the system sound worked fine). Installed shockewave and reinstall chrome on my pc and reboot my pc all remotely. At this stage my problem with chrome was not solved (although the sound in Explorer and firefox worked). After the remote reboot I could not reconnect to the internet. The local area connection status shows that ipv4 & 6 is not connected anymore.
I tried to turn on and off my network adapter, turn off my firewall and connect my pc directly to my cable modem( instead of being connected to my cisco 4200 v2 router) but nothing! I also tried to restart the DNS Client service and the DHCP client service: still nothing. The windows troubleshoot indicate a problem with the network adapter driver but I doubt it. I am running windows 7 ultimate.
I am on an aspire one netbook and can no longer connect to the internet via wireless or a wired connection. I typed ipconfig/all in command prompt and all I got was..:
Host name: Primary Dns Suffix: Node Type: Broadcast IP Routing Enabled: No WINS Proxy Enabled: No
I do have a desktop and when I ipconfig/all this is what comes up C:Documents and SettingsAdministrator>ipconfig/all Windows IP Configuration Host Name: your-9k1ay6x2a2 Primary Dns Suffix: Node Type: Hybrid IP Routing Enabled: No WINS Proxy Enabled: No
I am using Windows 7 Pro and I can't access the Internet My IPv4 is working but I get this: IPv4 : Internet IPv6: No Internet Access
But when I open Browser I get white page but on vBulletin forums I get a 404 error on Every Forum site I go to. So I have a laptop, my brothers computer, xbox360, and my own pc all connected wired to the same router. Recently my PC is unable to get any internet at all from anything, even though it says: ipv4 internet ipv6 no internet access
It shows I am receiving and sending packets but not very often. All my other computers on my network except my one PC, I thought maybe it was my integrated network card on the computer but it seems I am not the only one who has had this problem.
I'll try my best to explain all the issues clearly.from very above downto the third line are:IPv4 connection : not connected (Not OK, it wasn't like that)IPv6 connection : not connected (No public IPv6 connection in China, this is OK)Media State: connectedBut as you can see below, network is OK (Yeah, it seems that). The problem is, this ADSL connection is not showed in 'Avtive Networks'.Most online activities are OK, but somw applications like EA Origin are malfunctioned(I'm sure it is because of the problem in network connection)I've tried reset my winsock, LSP, netsh int ipv4,also reinstalled drivers. All above didn'you may wanna have a look at my Network and Share Center. Here it comes.Area 1 shows that there is no active networks except a 'unidentified network'(this refers to Local Area Conncetion. Since I don't neither have a router nor use LAN, that don't matter). When ADSL was OK, I got a active ADSL network there.
My wifi was working fine a few days ago but i think the windows update has messed up my wifi adapter or connection. I did do a system restore when this happened a few days ago but since the restore is more then 1month old it is no more.So far i have tried the following:restarting/rebooting router,updating/reinstalling drivers, and many other things but nothing seemed to work i dont understand why it is scanning for wifi but on the mapping it says adapter isnt connected.I have shown a few pics to help you:
first my connection recently started cutting out at random times. Restarting sometimes helped, but disconnecting from the wireless network or rebooting the network adapter didn't help(atheros ar9285). If i go under status in available wireless network it says i have not connected to ipv4 or ipv6. I get this message even when i can get on the net. If i press details nothing shows up. i have pinged Google and have 0% loss he is my ipconfig /all
recently the connection rarely fails, but i bridge my internet with my Xbox 360 so i don't have to pay for a wireless adapter, and when i do that sometimes the connection fails, or when watching netflix through Xbox it says i have lost signal or the signal strength has dropped, when nothing has changed on my laptops internet connection in terms of strength?
I have a QNAP NAS and several devices (mostly Windows 7 and iOS devices)The vast majority of my networking setup seems OK - however on one Windows 7 laptop I am having problems. The Laptop can 'see' remote shares, access the Internet and ping other devices on the network - however remote devices cannot ping the laptop. Whilst trying to ascertain what could be the cause I thought that I would ping 'localhost' on the laptop - after all, it should be able to see itself!
I have a laptop dell inspiron with W7, I tried to get online but it say no proxy server found. First I thought it might be my internet provider, then I tried with another computer andthe internet worked fine. The net-bios say no while in the other computer it says yes. my computer had a virus but now it completely clean
I have a desktop that is connected to my Belkin router via wire. I have 3 laptops that are all connected to the router wirelessly. All computers have Windows 7 64bit and synched clocks. All are connected to a Home network. All 3 laptops detect that a Homegroup has been created on the wired desktop. I'm using the correct Homegroup password. All computers have discovery on. All computers have IPv4 and Ipv6 running. All services are running. Everything else I've read and tried regarding troubleshooting this issue haven't worked. All computers can see each other on the Network, but can't connect to the Homegroup.
i have a brand new toshiba laptop connected wirelessly. however it keeps showing connected however no internet access.i have a notebook as well that is brand new and it connects no problems what so ever.im using windows 7 home premium and 64 bit os.
Am using dell inspiron laptop with windows 7 home premium 64 bit , i have a free wifi in our collage when i give connect it was getting connected but there is no internet access i had tried with trouble shoot it was giving problem regarding DNS
i have a problem with my internet. Not sure if its my laptop or my internet. But when i turn on my laptop the internet works for a couple min. or hours or so then after that there will be a yellow triangle with a exclamation mark in the middle. Not sure why that happens. But if you guys have ideas that i can try out then that would be great! I tried /release & /renew but that didn't do anything. Also disabled and enabled the network adapter but that didn't work either. I am using a Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi adapter.(If that helps with anything) I am using a windows 7 hp laptop. If you guys have anyway to fix this then please tell me! Its been like that after 5 weeks i got my laptop.
I have however recently bought a brand new laptop with win 7 pre-installed which seems to have a similar problem as the desktop. The difference is that the connection is more sporadic it may be fine for a hour or two then the connection shows a yellow warning sign and says ' no internet access' . During this time the internet is unavailable.
Recently purchased a new hp envy 14 beats edition, I am unable to get access to the internet. My network sharing center tells me i am connected to the internet, but right below it says "no internet access" and my wireless connection strength bar on the bottom right hand side has a exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle on it. I have another windows 7 computer, 2 smart phones and Xbox live running on this connection with no issues. I have tied the new HP at my parents house along with several friends and the same thing happens. It will connect occasionally but for no longer than 5-8 minutes getting worse if i try to stream or download. (Does this on my wireless as well)All software and hardware updates have been done every update possible including firmware for my modem (there wasn't one but i verified). I sent the computer back to hp for them to change the wireless card, but when i got it back to confirm the work had not been done. So in frustration i demanded a new computer and got one.
To my unpleasant surprise right out of the box the new laptop (same exact model and specs) had the EXACT same problem...Now i do still have the original laptop as well, because i refuse to return it until my problem is fixed. Both laptops connect and function flawlessly to the internet when i connect through an ethernet cable. I have also tried different browsers as well with still no luck (explorer and google chrome)
my one month old laptop (windows 7) suddenly lost touch with my home network. one minute it was fine the next it wasn't. message says it's connected with no internet access, butwhen I try to print I get nothing. I suspect it's just not connected at all.
I'm running windows 7 64 bit and I'm having a strange internet issue. This has happened to me before and I've only been able to solve by doing a system restore but I figure there has got to be a much better way to solve this problem. In the bottom right hand corner beside the clock there is a little icon that resembles a little monitor (I'm no brilliant tech person so a lot of this is going to sound stupid probably) right now it shows a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. When I hover over it with my mouse it says Network Connected and then No Internet Access. This is where it gets strange. I am able to connect to pretty much any website when I open my browser. Now I like to play online games and I recently got BF3. And as some of you may know you need to go through "Origin" in order to play it. Well when I connect to the Origin "library" it tells me I'm offline and basically tells me I won't be able to play multiplayer. But as I said earlier I am able to access the internet for the most part. This issue has been happening well before I got BF3 too. So I've done everything I can possibly think of. I've emptied my cache, cookies, etc. I have also done the "IPCONFIG/ ALL" thing. Rebooted the modem and the computer. done any system updates. I have also turned my firewall off briefly and tried that. It only seems to work when I do a System Restore and I really don't want to be doing that every time I have this problem. I have troubleshooted it as well.
i'm using hp pavilion and operating windows 7 ultimate. I can connect the wi-fi, internet but it notifies me no network access. It happens even with my phone modem. Three days before i can connect but now i can't
my desktop is running windows 7 home premium 64 bit and just recently it doesnt have anymore internet access. its connected via cable to LAN. it says that i'm connect to Local Area Network but no internet access.i thought it was a faulty network card so i bought a wireless USB TP-Link. i set up everything correctly according to the steps (install the driver etc.) and it says i'm connected to my home wifi network. but when i try to access Google or Facebook or twitter or any other webpage on my internet browser (Google chrome), it says the webpage is not available.
I started getting the problem where my laptop would connect to the network but there would be no internet access. I tried many of the suggestions that I found online, like flushing the dns and resetting the tcp/ip but none of them seemed to work. The only thing that I have been able to get to work is doing a system restore to the day before it began to happen. However, the next day when i swich on my laptop again I have the same problem so I have to restore again. Obviously doing a system restore everytime i want to use my laptop isn't ideal.I can't figure out what is doing this. At first I thought it was a windows update but I disabled all updates after one of my restores and it did not make any difference. I also have mcafee installed and disabled anything within that that I thought could have been an issue. As far as I can see I have not changed or installed anything after the system restores that would cause this problem to arise each time I start up my laptop.
i have hp laptop with Windows 7 64bit and i get the access to the internet through a tp-link router 2 days ago i connected the pc to the router by wirless network it connected but no internet access i tried the LAN cable also no internet access and i don't think that the problem is from the router because i can access the internet from another device such as my iphone or any other laptop
there is a similar problem wifi is connected but there is no internet access.... there is a yellow triangle with is warning mark on it my is a new laptop and model is dell inspiron 15r 7520?
Ok going nuts here I have been surfin the web all day on the one computer that will access the internet and have do so many things trying to get my other to access internet. We just moved and got ATT uverse installed I have dell insprion windows 7 64 it is a mini laptop no cd rom drive. anyway it has always been wireless until now.called ATT and they crashed my whole house system...looked on line I have flushed the roterdid a cdm thingturned this one and that off o turned the encryption over to tkip and for 2 seconds I had a connection then WHAM!stood on my head. danced naked during the midnight moon and no reformatting is not an option as I do not have the disc to do it but we did do a system restore
Wifi connected but after like 5 - 15 mins, it shows no internet access (yellow !) at random. Sometimes it can happen every 1 min and freuqency great increases when im streaming a video/uploading/downloading or playing an online game.
I tried all the solutions such /run winsock reset & preferred DNS 218. 67. 222. 222.
I have been accessing wifi on it for almost the entire time... Was workn on the nternet with my laptop till day before yesterday mornng.....
When i switched it on in the evenng, it suddenly started showing that the internet is connected, but there is no nternet access!!! There was a yellow icon (triangle) at the internet connection icon...!!
I am able to access the same internet with my ipad n iphone, but says 'no internet access' or 'limited access' while trying the same from my laptop...!!
I've been searching this forum and other resources for days now with no luck. I'm connected to our apartment's wireless network, but about a week ago I found the infamous yellow triangle and "No Internet Access." I was going along fine for about a month and this came out of nowhere've tried every imaginable ipconfig command that has been suggested, including flushdns, ipreset, all the winsock commands, etc. I've tried resetting everything: modem, router, laptop... I've tried enabling/uninstalling my wireless adapter, changed my TCP/IPv4 settings, used trusted DNS settings, the whole 9 yards. I've renamed my computer, deleted the network profile, deleted my computers profile on the router, booted on safe mode, you get the picture.
My Windows 7 Toshiba has suddenly lost it's Internet connection - I can see the network clearly enabled via wireless and via direct connection - the home network screen shows Internet connection is active, however my email and browsers do not connect. I have tried Firefox but with the same results. Not sure what has happened, it was working fine until yesterday. All my other PC's are working online as before One is Vista the other XP
I am running windows 7 and haven't had any problems connecting wirelesly to our network until today. It says that I am connected with a strong signal but there is no internet access. After I did the troubleshooting I got a message saying the DNS server may be experiencing problems. Not sure where to start to fix this.
