Feb 17, 2009Trying to install Windows 7 and get hung up after clicking the "Install" button on boot-up using DVD. It loads for a bit, then tells me a CD/DVD Driver is required and can't be found. I've tried using the WindowsSystem32Drivers directory but it says no drivers can be found. I had to get the iso from a bit torrent; could it be I've got a 64 bit install disc and only 32 bit drivers? Maybe that's a dumb question but I'm trying to figure out why I can load the install up to that point from the DVD but it won't locate drivers.

Feb 9, 2011Problem 1 Anytime I recieve an update or download that comes from online in get an error message and the program will not complete the download process. The error message I get has the pharse that always says %localappdata% usally thier might be something else with this usally refering to what download or update it is. Some times when the retry come up if I unplug the internet connection it will go through. I do have a Wii hooked up wirelessly through the AOL modem. Help
Problem 2 I have 2 printers. The main printer is a HP laserjet 1200 seriers B/W. The second printer is an HP Photosmart4680 which I use for printing pictures. I am having a problem with the Laserjet 1200. Everytime you send something to the printer it will not print. If you open up the printer menu it will say to clear the cue. If you ask the troubleshooter program to fix it it says it has. but you still can not get it ot print anything except a self test/configurations. on that sheet I do not see an error being shown once the cue has been cleared. I can shift anything over to the photosmart [printer and that is printing fine.

Nov 8, 2011I am totally at my wits end. Been trying to get Windows 7 Home Edition to work on my pc for the last 4 days but no joy.I installed it first on Sunday, which worked, loaded up and I started putting on my antivirus, updating graphics drivers and windows updates. Then, it all froze on me, and since then I have been unable to load Windows 7 at all. I assumed it was down to a corrupt download/update it had done, so I tried the Repair option on the Windows 7 disc. No fix there. So, I decided to format the drive, and redo a clean install, but now, it reaches Completing Installation stage, and either goes into a reboot loop, over and over, or it reaches the Setting Registry Settings, and then goes into a reboot loop. I've tried so many options through the google sites, but nothing is making it work again. Can anyone advise me what to do to fix this and get it working again?

When the software was initially activated, outgoing faxes were sent fine. Recently, it's stopped working completely. Only the coverpage is sent, the fax job fails and retries as many times as I have it configured or until I delete the fax job. I've tried typing directly into the section for page 2 of the fax, and I've tried attaching pdf or txt files with the same incomplete result. I can view the complete fax in the outbound box.

However, even at that time the Service Pack install would not complete. It would churn and try to install and reboot and certainly act like all was well and completing, but eventually it would say something like "Service Pack failed. Resorting to previous cnfiguration". With the holidays approaching, solving this issue was pushed to the back burner. Now that I have some time, I'd like to get the machine fully updated.
