Radeon 9250 Driver For Windows 7.64?
Apr 9, 2012I have read numerous posts on how to get the ATI Radeon 9250 card to work with Windows 7 but I cannot get any solution to work with win 7.64I do realize that this card is not compatible or recommended for win 7. I just need to get it working short term until I can buy a replacement, this is the only PCI card I had to get this new system working.

I merely want the capability to run the machine at its native resolution without having "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" listed in Device Manager.

Apr 27, 2012My bro just got his laptop repaired in some of the store I don't know where it is but probably the store persuade him to upgrade his OS (he's just there to replace his missing button on his notebook such 'E' button). Suddenly I got told by him that his warcraft III screen is not full screen, this is a problem with ATi video driver or to be precise with Catalyst Control Center.
But after a long search in google and installing this and there and from ATi websites, there is no CCC shown in the taskbar although the installation is success with nothing wrong. I'm sure about this because my HP notebook just got this problem from the very first time I got it. My bro notebook is Toshiba Satellite M300. Nov 29, 2011I have an ATI Radeon HD 4350. Currently I am using the WDDM 1.1 drivers that came with my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit install (store-bought). It's been working fine for normal use, but the drivers are 2 years out of date and no games want to work on my system.
I tried installing the Catalyst 11.11 driver package, rebooted and... the result was that Windows suddenly treated my video card like it didn't have ANY drivers; it defaulted to the Standard VGA drivers and didn't even want to acknowledge that the proper drivers for my card existed on my computer. When I brought up Device Manager to manually install the new drivers, it listed the new drivers as ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 along with the old ATI Radeon HD 4350 (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)- which I kinda/sorta get but don't really. What's the difference between the 4300/4500 and the 4350? Red herring; ignore that.
Anyway... I can revert back to the original 4350 drivers and the screen looks fine, but I'm not getting to use any of the games I've got installed now. I also noticed that, while looking through my System Information, the 4350 is causing some sort of hardware conflict with the PCI-to-PCI Bridge. Which completely drives me bonkers because it WORKS with the WDDM 1.1 drivers.
After Installing New Radeon GPU And Drivers, Windows Stuck At Starting
Mar 29, 2012I just received my new ASUS HD7850-DC-2GD5 video card. I installed it, booted up Windows, and installed the drivers from the included CD. Then I rebooted Windows. However, my system hangs at the 'Starting Windows' screen. Actually, it seems that only the video hangs--because if I type in my password and hit enter, as if I could see the welcome screen, I hear the 'correct' sound that normally plays when I log in. I just can't *see* what's going on.
I reset the system and booted into safe mode, where I entered Device Manager and uninstalled the HD7850 display adapter. Then I rebooted Windows, and again I'm able to operate normally -- but without the AMD Radeon drivers. I've tried downloading the latest drivers from the AMD website, but installing those leads to the same problem. I get stuck at the 'Starting Windows' screen.
This has me totally perplexed... I bought an ASUS-branded card specifically to try and avoid drama, as I also have an ASUS mobo (the P8Z68-VPRO/GEN3). My CPU is an i7 2700k, not currently overclocked at all. My PSU is an XFX PRO850W XXX Edition Semi-Modular 88Plus 850 Watt PSU, which should be up to the task, right?

Apr 26, 2012Up until the other day, I've been using my MSI Wind u230 netbook / Radeon HD 3200 to output to my monitor (Acer S243HL - only has 1x DVI and 2x HDMI inputs) and then occasionally swap to a Westinghouse 32" TV.The other day: I was using my monitor then swapped to the tv, and then returned to my room to connect to the monitor and it just won't work. (To note, I've been using Win key + P to set projector only and to disconnect projector before unplugging the HDMI cable.)The netbook screen will turn itself off (as if it detects the HDMI-out) but the screen or TV will just show "No signal."I tried a shorter HDMI cable, tried the other input on the monitor, still nothing. Strangely enough, checking the displays in Catalyst or the Screen Resolution properties, it can detect both the TV and the monitor. There's just no signal coming out.Even stranger: trying to connect another laptop to the monitor (which used to work) displays "No signal" too.
