for example this site will not play and only shows black: armadebtdon 2011 - call congress - the daily show with jon stewart - 07/26/11 - video clip | comedy central
i have tried uninstalling and re-installing flash, installing 64 bit flash player, have tried uninstalling chrome and re-installing and nothing has worked, have tried terminating my virus and firewall software too.
I've been having a problem with my CPU maxing out on sites that use flash video for almost a year now. I've gone through all the checks for Malware and virus's using multiple programs. The problem only occurs when I'm live streaming from a site that uses JW player 5.10.2295, I have downgraded my Flash player to an older version 11.1.102.63 on the advise from a poster on the adobe forum site. I've recently ran a clean install and after only a day, the problem has started again, I'm using chrome browser, I have disabled the pepper flash plugin and I've also disabled hardware acceleration on the flash program.
The site that I use regularly is using the JW player to broadcast, There is High CPU usage for other flash sites(you tube, BBC I player) but my CPU is maxing out to 70/80 and the laptop is just about to handle it. I've had my laptop for about 3 years now and it's always been able to stream HD content with no issues, I also have an old win XP and apple mac air in the house and it has no issues streaming from any sites with high CPU.

I had to change out my HD and when I did that, I also changed my os to windows 7. I used to be able to use my cd/dvd player but since the upgrade, I can not use my cd/dvd player. I have to open it up manually with a paperclip, and I see there is power to the player but it doesn't play nor does my computer recognize the drive?
I have a 4 GB flash card which i used on my mobile phone. It was out of my phone for about two weeks; during this time it saw no physical harm. Now when i put it back in my cell phone, it asks me for "memory card password" which i have no idea of and on the mobile's device manager it shows the memory card to be "locked".When i put it on the computer with my memory card reader even windows failed to open it.Attempts to troubleshoot it via windows failed and Recuva failed to scan it too.
i was downloading a film and accicdently sent a file to open using WMP, now all my programs have gone wrong. int explorer, google chrome, AVG, chess titans etc everything is now trying to open in WMP. I've checked properties and all the target types have changed to WMP, have not got a clue what ive done. ive tried using REGEDIT but this also tries to open in WMP. ive downoaded reg fix for windows 7 but this hasnt worked either. ive done a bit of research on the web for similar problems but none of the solutions seem to be working for me. i am able open int explorer by going to 'open with' which i was not able to do before, but this just changes all the icons to int explorer.
i dont want to have to reboot because ive never done it before and i dont have a back up for the operating systems.
Ok, I'm trying to watch my CBT Nugget videos for CCNA as I have been this week. I watch them on my desktop, which has a locally attached external HD with the videos sitting on there. I come to my laptop and access the external on my desktop via network share. This has been working pretty much all week long, until today. Now, when I try even playing 1 file, without trying to add them all to a playlist, it opens and it starts playing, but it crashes as shown above.
I Can't find a flash player that works. everywhere I look it won't work. They say that it installs but when I go to a site that needs flash it doesn't work.
Everytime I tried to open [URL](my IP camera video stream file); realPlayer Basic v14 kept opening an upgrade to realPlayer Plus window. When I click on "No thanks" another window for free trial opened. This was an endless loop. The IP camera video stream is H264 format and streams just fine on my other Windows 7 PC. Well, to make a long story short; the Win 7 Pro machine did not have QuickTime player installed which provided the H264 codec needed. I installed QuickTime and the IP camera now streams via realPlayer 14. I suspect you could install any H264 codec and accomplish the same thing and avoid the Plus upgrade.
I do not know if this is unique to Win7 but I have posted this problem here. I am using IE9 on this 64 bit OS but I have not been able to download the latest flash player update.
My win 7 64 bit with Mozilla Firefox 5 or 4.01 does not play the flash content of my home page. Please note that I have read many posts regarding this issue and nothing has fixed the problem. I get the continues prompt you have to install flash player to read this contentany many installations it never works. I have used the uninstall flash player command and then reinstalled the player many times. No go.The browser Mozilla Firefox is 32 bit. Is there a fix or can I use a different player to play the content?have been trying to fix this for two months now.The flash player content is part of my Home Page The Globe and Mail, Toronto daily Newspaper
Evey time I log into live it asks me to install Adobe flash player so I do then the next day it comes up again, I have had this problem ever since Vista but it sent away one day until I installed 7, any ideas on why its doing it?
I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I want to switch to 64-bit IE, but I can't find a 64-bit release of Adobe Flash Player (even alpha or beta). Can you help me?
i needed to make an clean installation of windows 7 and the only one i could get so fast was one with some programs added already, one of the programs was opera which i didn't like so i uninstalled it with "youre uninstaller 2008" and installed fire fox, so far no problems.
now i needed flash player 10 in order to install norton 2009, so i installed flash player 10 (direct link from the adobe website), but norton still gave me the error that it wasn't installed, i looked up and found this,
don't know if you can see it but flash player tries to install it on my opera folder, which isn't there anymore and it fails then it installs an uninstaller and say's its finished.
so i guess opera has left some system files in my computer so flash player thinks its still there and won't install the right way.
After getting Windows 7 x64 installed, I was having a problem getting the Pandora Gadget to work. It turns out this gadget uses Flash, which only comes in a 32 bit version. The Sidebar is x64, and can't access Flash. I came up with a quick and dirty way to load the 32 bit sidebar instead which allows flash to work! I know there are several gadgets out there that use flash so this should be a fix for all of them.
Windows 7 32 bit750 GB HD4 GB DDR2 RamHDX18T CTORecently, my Adobe Flash Player automatically updated to the new 11.Within one hour I was no longer able to use any browser (IE9, Google Chrome, Firefox or even Safari)I have tried every work around including disabling the Browser version of Flash Player and the Windows Version and also even deactivating the Active X filter. The curious thing is that this does work on other desk top computers in my house.nyone know how often Adobe updates or corrects it's flash players?Any other suggestions for making things better for myself?
