I can't seem to find a driver for my EPL-8000 laser printer and Windows 7, and searching online comes up with nothing. I just switched from XP, and the only driver for that version was on the XP install disc. Can I somehow use the XP version of the driver? Windows and Epson doesn't have anything for Windows 7 and my printer. Is it even compatible?
from Epson and HP (who made the PC). I've tried the original CD and latest download for my Epson SX415 on my laptop, and also a friend's, but they have refused to load the printer driver.
i have a all in one epson stylus cx3900 printer will not work on windows 7 the drives are to old keep in mind this printer is only 2 to 3 years old i had it on my old computer and it was xp windows i have looked on the Microsoft web site and thay say there are no drives update for the printer anyone got any clues just wondered before i go buy new printer?
I have an Epson Artisan 725 which prints on CD/DVD and is network connected. Inoticed a few days ago that this device can not print 3X5 cards. In addition, it can not print on 3 hole paper. Was wondering if I was missing some setting, or if Epson has abandoned this type of format. If Epson has abandoned it, that is a real shameas 3X5 cards are the most popular index card out there.
I bought an epson nx420 wireless printer on 12/24/11. I scanned a document but I clicked on photo instead of document and it is on my pictures folder and I cannot remove it.
i got a packard bell pc today and for some reason when i plug my printer into it it says device unrecognizable, no matter what port i use. other usb devices such as the mouse and hard drive will work fine, with no problems, just the printer, epson dx4450
Having trouble getting my Epson R380 printer drivers to work with Win 7. I know it will be released very soon, Oct 22nd. So I would like to get this printer installed. I am presently using Win 7RC, and have tried several times to get it installed with no luck. I had it networked with my other XP computer and it worked ok but every time I wanted to print something I had to turn the XP computer on. So I decided to connect the USB straight from the printer to my Win 7 computer, and have been trying to get installed ever since with no luck. I went to the Epson site and got the Vista drivers for it and they would not work either.
I have a laptop with Windows 7 (home premium, 32 bit); I also have an XP (SP3) computer with two printers attached. An Epson 3800 and an Epson Workforce 30. Both are pretty new. I have installed the Epson 3800 driver on the laptop.
But both printers are connected to the XP computer via USB. When I try to create a new port for the Epson 3800 printer object on Windows 7, I get "Not enough server storage is available to process this command." What I do is right click on the icon in Devices and Printers, then Properties, then Ports then Add Port then I put the path to the printer on the XP computer ComputerNamePrinter2 and that's when I get the error. Is this how it's supposed to done? Is there another way?
i have just got a desk top last week with windows seven on it and i have just tried to install my epson dx9400f all in one printer i have installed the drivers for windows 7 off the epson web site but i cant print any thing can you please help me out thanks mark P.S it worked fine on vista
I used to be able to see the ink levels of my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer everytime I went to print something. Since I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 I cannot find out how to see this information anymore.
At this moment the "low ink" red light is flashing and I have no idea which ink cartridge(s) I need to replace.
My Epson xp-400 printer is cutting off the top section of my text. I've already reloaded the utilities and drivers, cleaned the nozzles and the heads. It has new Epson ink cartridges, and no error messages. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what's wrong? it is on a wireless network.
I am trying to print a disc label on a dvd ,my printer is a Epson stylus photo Px650 .I have the software for the job but when I drag the into the software it says "this is not a epson cd print file.but I have printed dvd labels before with no problems but I can't remember if it was with XP but I am using windows 7 now .The I want to print is a jpeg is there a way to change it to an epson print file? and if so ,how do I do it?
Redlegs here from Adelaide , Sth Aust. Have had to replace my HP printer ( been given last rites after 5 years )with recommended Epson printer. HP was WiFi connected to laptop which is in another room from the PC and printer and had been working perfectly.I have brought the laptop into the room with the PC and printer. First problem arose as I was told " incorrect " password. Router is a DI- 524 ( no longer supported on D- Link's web page as 5 yrs old ) After several attempts and " hissy fits " , I was able to poke around in a help web page and I think I found the password , tho it was listed as the " Preshare Key ".Have been using the Epson Installation disc and things seem to go along smoothly , then it always bombs out --" Not connected " message appears, I print out a Status Report it's fairly long and a little hard to interpret , but it does say the password " does not match the one set for your router/access point" .I did have some probs when I first linked my previous printer to the laptop , some years ago , but can't recall the many steps I went through back then.Have got W7 , Epson printer model is WF 3520, laptop is a Toshiba.
both say they are installed correctly but will not print. I get a message from windows saying you must select printer bfore you print. I try to select them but nothing happens.
I have just upgraded from XP to windows 7 x64, however windows 7 has no drivers for the epson stylus 830 printer. I am now unable to use my printer. I have been onto the epson website but no driver is listed there. I have also looked for vista drivers but the printer is only supported in XP.
Does anyone know of a workaround to get this printer working in windows 7? The printer used to work in XP x64 with the epson stylus 870 printer driver as there was no x64 drivers for the 830. There is not even a windows 7 driver for the 870 so I am really stuck.
I have a Epson Photo RX585 Printer which is giving me one hell of a headache since I upgraded from XPpro to windows 7 32bit.I cannot get the Computer to communicate with the printer or is it the printer to accept the computer communication.I have downloaded the latest driver for the printer from epson home site and installed it.The automatic configuration of the driver into the appropriate port is not appening and asks me if I want to install it manualy (with me thats like asking a bus driver to fly a jumbo Jet).I did try getting directions from the internet but got lost and finished up with my printer driver attached to a LTP1 port instead of a printer USB port, needless to say it still wont work.I then decided that I would add USB ports myself Dont ask me how I didit but some how through the device manager I typed in USB001, USB002 and USB003 and the computer seems to have accepted these port as it has not thrown them back at me yet.My next venture into the unknown is to configure the printer with one of these ports to see if it will work. The computer will not configure automatically to any of these ports and I do not have a clue as to how to do it manually. As you can see by the details above anyone after reading this who is brave enough to attempt to give me instructions as to how to get this compuer of mine and printer onto speaking terms again is either mad or deserving a medal.
I have a new Epson NX420 Printer that I had installed one month ago. Last week another user on the computer who does not have administrative rights like me could not print anything with her jobs getting held up in queue. I tried uninstalling and re-installing printer to fix problem. Now after trying disk that came with printer and downloading from Epson website I get to end of installation and I get error message" Can't install printer access is denied". Is there a fix for this problem without doing a complete reinstallation of the operating system.
Since I installed Windows 7, My Epson Stylus photo R220 shows all ink cartridges empty.
They are completely new cartridges. Also if I boot in to a different OS ( Linux ) It shows the cartridges are full! Is there a known problem with Epson ink monitors an Win 7 ?
I'm used to periodic lapses when Windows forgets that I have a Bluetooth mouse & keyboard but today's behaviour was really weird.
Fortunately I keep a wired mouse and keyboard strategically hidden just in case.
I just booted into Windows 7 and noticed on the log-on screen that the mouse was behaving erratically - would judder around the screen rather than glide.
Anyway I uninstalled it once I'd booted up and went to reinstall it. It worked but Windows asked for a restart. This had never ever happened before. It even asked for the WEI to be refreshed! I've checked and I can't see anything different driver-wise. I've gone through the motions of uninstalling/reinstalling mouse and keyboard dozens of times but never had this happen.
Installing wifi printer, which was very successful. However I've since had a computer crash and now I don't seem to be able to re-install my printer. I've used the software disc again and checked that the wifi connection is ok, but when I try to print a web page nothing happens! I have Windows 7 and the printer is an Epson Stylus SX435W.
I have TWO computers on a "home" network (Work group, NOT Win 7 Homegroup).Computer A is new and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. Computer B is "old" and runs Windows XP Professional. Computer A has two printers attached; Epson Stylus Photo R200 and a Lexmark X3690. Both of these printers work well with Computer AComputer B has an HP LaserJet printer on the parallel port LPT1. Computer A can print documents to the LaserJet on PC B as well as photos and documents to the Epson and Lexmark printers. Computer B can print to to the laserjet and the Lexmark BUT NOT the Epson. When I try to "add" the Epson to the printers on PC B there is a message that computer A does not have the correct driver for the printer. The same message occurred when I initially "added" the Lexmark to PC B, but I was able using the CD supplied with the Lexmark to located the 32bit driver and load it onto PC A.
I tried to do the same thing with the Epson but failed to find the driver on the CD. I have tried downloading a 32 bit Epson driver from the Epson site, (using compatability mode) but even after doing that I cannot add the Epson printer to Computer B - the same message that PC-A does not have the correct driver.
