DVD Maker Error
Oct 15, 2009When I try and burn a avi file to DVD using "WINDOWS DVD MAKER" it reboots my system about 3 - 4min after it starts. I have tried a third party program caled "ConvertXtoDVD 3.8" with NO luck
Win 7 x64
Any Idea's?

DVD Maker Activation Error?
Dec 7, 2012I got my Windows 7 Home premium about 18 months ago and have never had a need to use DVD maker. So when someone told me I could use it to make menu's on my home movies I wanted to try it.So I got to "Programs and Features" to activate DVD maker but it won't work.It gives an error "Unable to install some features"Can I download it ? On the Microsoft website I see only a developers kit for Vista.

Windows Movie Maker 2011 Error
Jul 1, 2011i am having problems with windows movie maker saying it cannot save movie because i do not have enough memory asking me to save at a lower resolution.i have increased my cache (page) memory and still the same i even lowered my bitrate still the same. i have 90gb of hard drive space and 8 gb ddr3 memory my gfx has 2 gb of ddr5.
what do i do i know i dont have any viruses because its a brand new formatted pc.
DXGI.DLL Error Related To Windows Live Movie Maker
Jun 3, 2012I was using Windows Live Movie Maker and working on a tribute to my sister who passed. I decided (wrong thing to do) to update and downloaded Windows Live Essentials (because there was a newer update of Movie Maker). Then, movie maker would not start up.Reinstalled several times. Then I read somewhere about DXDIAG. Then tried dxdiag in Run command. THIS is the error message:C:WindowsSysWOW64dxgi.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact yoru system administrator or the software vendor for support. After I press ok, I get another message saying:
Error: Could not load dxdiagn.dll
Not sure what to do My goal is to continue working on my video tribute. I uninstalled Windows Live Essentials. Tried to reinstall DIRECTX, states I have the latest version. I used several scans (SFC/scannow and others for malware). I have an ACER Aspire 1430z-4677, Windows Home Premium (64).
Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery & Movie Maker Error?
Apr 26, 2012To uninstall all the installed programs that were included in Windows Live Essentials, I went to control panel > Programs & Features and selected Windows Live Essentials. Then repair/uninstall. I choose to remove the features listed and choose all but Mail. I got many error messages and error numbers, so I decided to delete them one at a time. This worked perfectly until I reached the program in the title above.This is what appeared: We couldn't remove the selected program. Unknown error occurred. Error: 0x80070645 Source: SQLLite.What does the named error mean and what does SQLLite have to do with WLE? That program is the one I wanted to remove most, because it's taken over opening Slide Shows and than fails to work.

Oct 12, 2012I have edited out the adverts from a program I recorded on tv using windows live movie maker (came with win 7). However when I replay the program it plays on a reduced size on my laptop and on my tv screen (not on the full screen size as it did before editing). The recorded format is MPEG-2 TS Video. How can I make sure that it plays at full size?

I've never installed anything like it.I went to control panel, uninstall programs, and I did not find it.I tried to delete it and it says that I do not have permission to delete the folder, only "TrustedInstaller" does. I tried to give myself permissions, (I am on my administrator account) and it fails.

Jan 1, 2010I need a GOOD Movie Maker Program. My setup is Windows 7 64-bit with 12 GB RAM and 24" Flat Panel Monitor. The Windows Movie Maker Program that came with the computer appears to only import files in AVI format and appears to only BURN to DVD in WMV format.
Here is what I am trying to do. I have many old VCR tapes of family events. I bought a converter box that lets me convert VCR tapes onto DVD's. I also have a newer camcorder that records on Mini-tapes. I can use the firewall cable and import those directly into the computer with Windows Movie Maker but as previously mentioned they get saved on the HD as AVI files ONLY.
My goal is to be able to take all those files and cut/paste whatever pieces of each individual files that I want, reorder them in whatever order I want (probably chronologically) and then splice them together to make a movie. Finally I want to be able to burn these movies to DVD in whatever format I want (not just WMV as Windows Movie Maker insists on)
I already have the following programs on my machine. (All came in the machine)
Windows DVD maker
Windows Movie Maker
Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning
I don't mind putting in some time to learn a new program but I don't want to find out that I wasted my time because the program just can't do what I want it to do. Any advice or which movie maker program to get/use would be greatly appeciated. If one of the programs that I listed above already does everything that I said I wanted to do, then don't hesitate to write back, call me an IDIOT and tell me which program does what I want.
Windows Native DvD Maker / No Sound?
Jun 24, 2011i have burned 2 movie files onto disks and each time althought the picture is perfect their is no sound at all. but the files will play with sound when played directly by windows media. Both files are .AVI Files.
