Constant BSOD After Few Minutes Of Game-play Of BF3, TF2?
Dec 11, 2011
I've just began to get BSODs after playing these video games, and I have no idea why I'm getting these problems. I personally and not familiar with reading dump files?
I get this Bsod frequently when i play video games, generates randomly For example:could happen on my first game of dota 2 (ave. game last 35-40 minutes) to about 4-6 games of dota.Problem signature: Problem Event Name:BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
I just recently built the computer listed in the specs part of my profile, and have only ran into one issue. When I record my gameplay on Battlefield 3 with Fraps, after I finish the recording and click to exit the game I get a blue screen, this is the absolute only time I get a blue screen and it happens every time. I checked the event viewer but there was so errors leading up to the crash and no information except one that stated the computer recovered from the crash. The only constant I find is that it only crashes when I am using fraps and when I am only a voice chat service, in my case skype or ventrilo. I am currently running the Memtest86 on that computer now so I can't retrieve any of the BSOD information, provided that there is any, but so far I have no errors showing on the memtest.
i have a computer less than a year old all built by me and a friend.
It has windows 7 x64 ultimate echo star 680wPSU AMD phenom 2 x6 1090t 3.2GHz processor asus m4a87td usb3 2x 4g ram MSI n560 gtx-ti 2g(just installed this yesterday thinking my video card went out but i am still having same issue) Useing on board sound card.
Asus Rampage IV 16Gb Kinston HyperX SH103s3 120GB SSD Barracuda 2Tb
When I ONLY play game OR ONLY copy files, everything is OK. But, when I try to force machine to copy AND play game in the same time, system crash. There is a 2 minidump files, one i tried with Skyrim, other With Fallout.
how can I play a video in jet audio (or any other media program) on one monitor while I play a fullscreen game on the other. I can get it to work with streams off of website like own3d.tv and twitch.tv, and I can even run the streams in full screen. However when I try to run a movie through jet audio or even just play music through zune player, they freeze up. The audio will still come through, but either the picture is frozen in place or the zune player seems to get frozen.
I had a thread before with some blue-screen errors, mostly memory errors, so upgraded my RAM (8Gb DDR3), installed a new operating system (32bit to 64bit) and on the first boot-up: CRASH.
I could not play the game bus simulator. Everytime massage appear 'a problem caused the programme working properly. Window will s/ the programme and notify if any solution available.
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, at home desktop, upgraded all my drivers (including bios, monitor drivers...)...
Then I bought, Dragon Age in Steam, and started playing, after 5 minutes the game became the most laggy thing in the world. Ok, I thought it was something with dragon age. Installed GTA IV, installed the patch, same thing, after about 5 -10 minutes the game starts to lag.
After searching a lot of foruns in the net, i realized that everybody seems to have problems with gaming in Windows 7, or the game crashes, or graphics problems.
I tried compatibility mode - same
Tried tweaking nvidia options - same
Tried tweaking games options - same
Installed more three games to test, all have the same problem.
I have Windows 7, and I want to play 'I Spy Spooky Mansion', but everytime I play it says "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows that you are running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and the contact the software publisher."
I Have a game to play online which I run using a script (*.bat).sometimes I host a game and sometimes I don't...(by the way, I hope this isn't illegal wright? )now I've been setting up everything in windows firewall, inbount and outbound rules for that program and all that security stuff.now here are two scenarios where, one works and another unfotunately does not:
-I log in as admin into windows -windows has UAC disabled -I run a script -I play the game online Second scenario : -I log in as admin into windows -windows has UAC enabled -I run a script as Administrator -I can't play a game online cos it can't find any server
as you see in these two scenario only UAC on/off is difference. How do I fix that issuse by keeping UAC enabled?
I am trying to play an Infinity Engine game I recently purchased, Icewind Dale, in XP Mode. I decided to go with XP Mode over forcing it to run under Windows 7 with patches because the multiplayer client doesn't work on a 64 bit operating system, but installed and worked fine under XP Mode. But I can't get the game to start, and I'm not sure why. The errors I get are all involved with the movies, I actually haven't managed to get as far as the actual game menu. These are the errors I get - Quote: Originally Posted by Win95 Interplay MVE File PLayer DirectDraw Init FAILED Quote: Originally Posted by An Assertion failed in ChVideo.cpp at line number 5683 Programmer says: No valid video modes supported I upgraded to the most recent Direct X (June 2010), and even used the Direct X that came with the program. I can testify that I had an older laptop that ran on Windows XP, and was able to play Infinity games (is it possible to virtualize that computer onto my current? I still have it) but I only just recieved this one yesterday.
We can access the BBC ks1 bitesize web pages, we select maths and choose a game to play- the game loads and we can play. However when we try to play the game again we get a ank screenwith no loading icon and the game will not open. Guess it is not a website problem as it works on the iPod and laptop but suspect it is a prolem with the netbook factory settings
I have Civilizations II and it is an old game. i am trying to install it on my laptop and it tells me that it is not compatabile with my system, I have an HP pesario cq56 notebook with an intel 2.20g processor. with a 64 bit os. can you tell me what i need to do to be able to play this game on my laptop.
when I 'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit I experience constant random BSOD's. This does NOT happen at all when I'm running 32 bit. My specs are as follows:
None of the above have ever been overclocked. I've tried updating my BIOS, running memtest, reinstalling windows from a fresh iso, nothing works. The crashes seem to occur at completely random times and always have a different message.
I have an AMD Athalon IIx4 640 3.gig w/ 4. gig memory computer. I play Frontierville on Facebook alot. I am having trouble with computer shut down in the middle of the game. It doesn't blue screen it simply shuts down. POOOF!!!! gone. Then I have to restart the computer. I am running Windows 7 64 bit OS.
Whenever I start to play any game (even the needless ones) everything is all right. After some time (usually 10-30 min.) my computer shutdown I mean, screen is completely blank, but main brain is still working. What the heck is wrong with it?
before i play games like gta sa, nfs carbon/MS, i play the game with full screen, without black bars around it, but after i upgrade vista to wndows 7, the game no full skrin, the picture not full, in my skrin, and have black bars around it
have a dell vostro 360, and im just wondering if i need to to upgrade my Dedicated Video RAM. i want to play games on the pc but when i check if it will play a game i allways fail on the video ram
Using dual monitors. Trying to find out how to configure how to play a game and watch video at the same time. Using VLC player for the video. Tried playing a game, and the video freezes but the audio is still playing.
As the title says, my sound drops whenever I play a game on my PC, so I turn the volume up & 20 mins later it blasts out because the sound has reset or is back to its normal level. This seems to happen is every game, I use a Realtek Onboard HD as my sound but I also went and bought a 7.1 Soundcard (Speedlink Stage 7.1) and it did the same issue, I then installed the Speedlink into my wifes other quad core PC & it is working fine, not a single issue or drop.I have ever asked some tech guys, who said it may be my AV or programs like "Steam" running in the background, but the wife uses "Steam" also with zero effects, we both use the same AV/security (COMODO Internet Security), and again she has no problems.I use Cambridge soundworks 5.1 speakers as does the missus.
Ever since I built my [first] rig, i've been experiencing crashes in games from "nvd3dum.dll". I downloaded the new 306.23 driver which was supposed to fix the crashes but I still get them. Is it because I still have the old drivers in my registry or something?
So my problem is that whenI 'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit I experience constant random BSOD's. This does NOT happen at all when I'm running 32 bit. My specs are as follows:
I Just bought a new computer, had windows 7 ultimate 64 bit installed and some ususall programs, but I am getting bsod whenever I open any internet browser, such as internet explorer, chrome, or mozila. Then I tried to run it in safe mode with networking - still crashing, but in safe mode works perfectl. I'm thinking that the problem is some old wireless driver. This is the error msg I got:

Also, when I see the blue screen, I read that the driver "anodlwfx.sys" (System security filter, or something like that) is causing the problem for every bsod, I removed the file from windows folder, and computer worked perfectly, but I coudn't go to the internet, the used system restore, to restore that missing file.
I built my new pc in november and have been having constant BSOD, I have reinstalled plenty of times, memtest86 all passed, all drivers are updated, still having problems. I reinstalled 5 days ago with the march updates and still getting them. They happen when I am working in photoshop, playing games, surfing the net, even just idling.
