Bought Windows 7 Online?

So, my computer was acting really strange, and I decided I should just go ahead and buy a fresh copy of Windows 7.So after I purchased it, I wanted to download it online and get a fresh install, once I hit download 32 bit version and said to save it here and download it the only thing that I can tell something is downloading is on the browser page where the "download" button is now replaced with 2 spinning arrows... but thats it, no % done or ETA. Is there a way I can check to see if this is downloading and can I even do a fresh install via online downloading?

sony vaio. i did create a recovery disk but i would like to have a stright windows 7 cd. if i ever have to reinstall i dont want all the junk software. can i buy one from microsoft? im not trying to steal something. i already have a product key under my new laptop.

I just bought an ssd and want to install win 7 on it. win 7 is already installed on another drive. I don't want to remove the other drive but can't format it. Forgot to mention that I want to do a clean install on the ssd.

I bought a used Windows 7 PC, turns out there are two accounts on it, both require a password. I am only able to get on using Guest, which won't allow me to do any changes to the PC because the UAC is turned on and it is requiring a password to move forth. I don't have a Windows 7 disc so unable to format..

I recently purchased an acer netbook with windows 7 starter. i downloaded a few things and now it is a mess. Sometimes I have a problem starting it.Sometimes it freezes but most of all when I try to open something or get to a site the cursor keep spinning and then nothing.Can I bring the netbook back to the way it was when I purchased it?

My husband bought Office 2007 HUP (Home Use Program) in March 2010 but our Home PC was not suitable to install it on. We now (finally) have a new PC with Windows 7 on it and want to install Office 2007 on the new PC. We have the Product Key and the official Office Enterprise 2007 backup disc. None of this has been used yet.The purchase confirmation email is on our old PC (in Outlook) and I don't want to click on the link to install it on that PC. Plus, I don't have internet access on that old PC. I realize Office 2007 is technically out of date now, but this is the software that we have at the moment.How can I get this Office 2007 installed on our new PC?To use the link in the email, how can I get that message from the old PC to the new PC so as to be able to click on the link in the new PC?Can I simply install Office 2007 on the new PC from the official backup disc that we received from Microsoft?

I was just wondering if I am able to take windows home basic off a store bought computer and put it on another computer. The reason for this is I am currently building my own and want to avoid unnecessary cost. As I own a laptop that I will no longer be using and a retail copy(windows home premium). So can I take the windows off my old laptop and put it on the computer?

A Compaq Presario CQ62 Laptop running windows 7. I accidentally spilled wine on it and the keyboard no longer worked.I purchased a Microsoft wired desktop 600, but it has no function keys. On the original keyboard I used Fn E12 to connect to a network, but with the new keyboard I can no longer connect to a network. There must be a workaround?

I've tried several things. I have wifi access and its high bars but when i try to go online it fails to connect. I tried troubleshooting and there are no problems detected but it says something about microsoft not being able to connect. Can anyone help with this? It's been a little over a week.

i am trying connect my second computer from my host pc, there both running windows 7, there both connected to a wired Rj5 cable no router, now the thing is i don't want to be connected trough home group Ive found its to slow to transfer files and takes up more processes etc, all i want is the second computer to connect online from the host computer, and last with windows xp i had no problems connecting both machine but now since ive put windows 7 on both its been a nightmare to network them, to much for Microsoft making there newer os simple.

I have just backed up Windows to my new SSD and was amazed at how much space it gobbled. I don't currently have a HDD spare and am thinking about storing it online.
1.Can I do that?...
2.Where is the back up stored because the only files I have on that drive at the moment are the back up and it's gobbled 48GB's of SSD space and the only folders I can see on the drive amount to a grand total of 4KB?...

The problem that I am having all started after I updated my Windows XP OS to Windows 7. When I start my computer up software is meant to start up a NAS drive that is on the network. This works fine but this software only starts the NAS drive after the computer is started and Windows 7 places it has offline. When the drive finishes startup should it not also display in Windows 7 that it is now online? This is what happened on my previous XP OS and it also works with another 2 machines that I have attached to the network which are XP and Windows Vista. how do you get Windows 7 to automatically check to see if the NAS drive is online or offline?

This computer is brand new and any video I try to watch online, (You Tube, yahoo etc,) they are always going into buffering and videos keep stopping and starting. Are there any special settings to help this out. Also I can take my old laptop that has only 1gb of memory and an old processor and it does well, so I know it is not my internet connection or router?
