how can I play a video in jet audio (or any other media program) on one monitor while I play a fullscreen game on the other. I can get it to work with streams off of website like own3d.tv and twitch.tv, and I can even run the streams in full screen. However when I try to run a movie through jet audio or even just play music through zune player, they freeze up. The audio will still come through, but either the picture is frozen in place or the zune player seems to get frozen.

I recently upgraded to the MS 2007 Enterprise suite on our media computer, and having trouble playing video in PowerPoint. I insert my movie via Insert > Movie > Movie From File. I found out that if I right-click and Preview the movie, it will play fine in my slide, however when running the slide show it will play only audio.Notes: It will play audio only either when asking it to start automatically or on click. It is listed as MS Compatible files (WMV). The movie is located on the PC locally in the same folder as the PPT. The movie plays fine in Windows Media Player. I've read through "Compatible multimedia file formats" and "My movie doesn't play" articles on MS website regarding version 2007.

It can either take a directory full of photos and videos and play them in a slideshow type loop, or can combine photos and video in a single file, movie, .exe, etc for playback on a computer connected to a TV for a trade show. I'd also prefer free, if possible.
We have a week long trade show coming up, and would like to put new photos and videos in a directory each night, and have the software start to play all of the content, like a slideshow, in a continuous loop. Then, each night, we could stop the software, update the content, then restart it...or replace the single movie file or exe with an updated one.
Ive had this laptop maybe 1 month it has a 1 year warrany, my issue is it seems to be blue screening non stop, generally when i open games, i was on D3/WOW when it happens the screen goes blue and says windows has experienced an unexpected error blabla.It did stop doing it for about 2 weeks however its doing it again today however now its got a different error saying DRIVERPOWR_STATE_FAILURE when i get the BSOD. i can also hear a fan in the computer maybe the gfx card?THe bug check code was 0x00000116 the first 3 times howevr now its 0x0000009f here is the BSOD from BlueScreenView:

My father in law has done something to cause the video play screen, with a play arrow, to become a ghost image on his notebook. When at the home screen you can see the icons behind it and they work fine.

I think ive added all the Info that was Requested to assist me with my Issue, I can play games with No issues but whenever i try to play a Online Video or today i noticed that DVDs played via my player are BSOD'ing me also. Its not the typical Blue screen that i remember from back in the 98/xp days, The Screen is completely Blue.. No Errors Given and the only option is to Hard Boot the System.
I recently built a computer (specs below) and have had few problems until recently. About once a day, the system will go to the Blue screen and restart. Upon restart, it says that the Video Card stopped working properly. Obviously I'd think it's that but don't know where to start.

how I have lost these programs on my computer and can not find them. They are not in the start programs, and I tried a search and did not find them. I thought that they were useful tools and did not consciously remove them. Any ideas of how I can get them back?

My computer is acting strangely and cannot seem to play video files without them freezing up. I can play up to about 10 mins of video before the audio starts getting scratchy and the video freezes and jumps or my computer will just shut down.

However to do this I have to go into windows 7 screen resolution screen and duplicate the displays though ones 1900x1200 and the Tv is 1920x1080 causing the PC screen to look funky but I can live with it to launch the games.I than have to go into the sound properties and set the default for the system to the HDMI cable and I can play my games on the TV like I want. (about 30 feet away)When done I have to come back and undue each setting to get control back to my PC.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using Windows 7 RC x64 6.1.7100 for about a month now, and i've used K-Lite to watch videos without running into any problems.
But for the past 3 days anytime i play a video, windows 7 will lock up sometimes in a few minutes and sometimes it will take longer. Keyboard commmands dont work.
This happens with K-Lite , VLC and WMP.
I have tried uninstalling K-Lite and installing the latest codecs, this didnt work. I have also tried Windows 7 Codecs ( Shark007.net - Windows 7 Codecs )
My video card is an ATI Radeon HD 3850, i had the latest Windows 7 drivers installed, I uninstalled those and installed the drivers for Vista, same problem.
any ideas of what could be wrong or something i have done or have not done?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have some troubles to play all kind of media files now. the problem comes out a few days ago and i have no idea what may be the reason. i am very sure i didn't install anything to my computer and there is no notifications to tell me anything that is damaged etc. and i just reinstall the entire computer once today but the problem is ongoing!!!!!!!!!!i am running my computer on windows 7 Pro X86. And the problems is that doesn't matter what media player i use and no matter what type of files i try to play they start to play for about one second then automatically stopped. but if i switch the media player to background then they can play the file till it finish. so far i have tried windows media player VLC KMplayer Real player and quick time player. the file i have tried are mp3 mp4 flv mkv wma wmv avi 3gp and ape.
a funny thing i notice is that when i move my mouse to the minimized windows on taskbar, the preview only flash out for a short time then disappear even i don't move my mouse, not sure if this has anything to do with my problem though.
My laptop has started to freeze and make a horrible buzzing sound whenever I try to play video. It performs perfectly if I am not trying to watch a video. It has only recently started doing this. It freezes so badly, I have to completely reboot the system. All the drivers are up to date. That is the very first thing I checked. i went to the manufacturer's home page as well and made sure the newest drivers were installed. I have mobile Intel (r) 4 series express chipset family.
